It used to be a branch office of Kawasaki Savings Bank.
Original Text
JR It is a historic stone building along Sonezaki-dori, very close to Shin-Fukushima Station. It is a building that was once used as a branch office of Kawasaki Savings Bank. It was completed in 1945 and stands out in this neighborhood with relatively new buildings lined up. The exterior with beautiful curves and many columns is very spectacular.
It suddenly appears when you go west along the Hanshin National Highway. It seems to have been built in 1945, so it's not that old. Former 々 "Kawasaki Savings Bank / Fukushima Branch Office", but the building that was the "Osaka Branch" of the bank is also left on the shipyard. Currently, it seems that "Minami", a textile manufacturing wholesaler, is using it as a company building.
It is a retro Western-style building along the Hanshin National Highway near Fukushima Station. It was a former bank and seems to be used as an office now. It is a national registered tangible cultural property.
About 5 minutes walk south of JR Fukushima Station. A retro building along the national highway. It is a nationally registered tangible cultural property at the Fukushima branch office of the former Kawasaki Savings Bank. It looks like a bank building and has a profound stone-making appearance. Currently used as an apparel company's office. It is a building that leaves the remnants of Osaka.
I always pass in front of me on my way to work. It has a retro and nice appearance, and apparel supplies are lined up inside, but it doesn't seem to be a shop. Office or exhibition room? It's probably like that.
