This trail head has a wonderful view. Some snow up on the ridge. Remember keep our parks clean and beautiful. Upper area has small loose rocks. Winds can be higher on the ridge. There is an easier tra...
Not worth driving the bad road
Don’t go if you don’t have a side by side or Jeep with high clearance. Parts of the road have lots of rocks and some huge ruts made during a wet time. It was a challenge driving a Honda CR-V.
Beautiful
Gorgeous drive and a great hike, keep an eye out for wildlife. Steep, sandy and rocky so wear shoes with good traction
A wonderful drive and delightful hike
This little visited arch, sacred to the local natives was also a look out for La Garita wilderness. Fantastic hiking area. Not a hard climb but wear good shoes and walking sticks if you have them.

Mountains everywhere around this area. This was a nice little hike. There are a couple little hikes in the area .
