The family temple of the Lord of Yokote Jo castle
Original Text
A temple in the center of Yokote. The bright red gate is eye-catching, but there is also the graveyard of Mr. Onodera, who ruled Yokote during the Warring States period.
It is a Soto sect temple that stands a few minutes walk from Yokote Station. I saw a sign indicating the gate and parking lot on the side of the road, and I entered the precincts from the gate. Although there was snow, it seems that the snow removal machine was active, so there was no problem with worship. The snow was not removed until the "Akamon" in front of the sign, which was also written on the grace.
