This is the seaside promenade of Zhuhai. It stretches for many miles and I wouldn't recommend trying to walk it's entire length unless you really like walking for a few hours straight. It has a bike path along it so getting a hire bike or using an e-bike would be a good idea. Along it's length are several small pagoda where you can take shelter from the sun. On the northern end is the Fisherwoman statue and a view of the Zhuhai Grand Theatre. It would be best to visit in the morning or evening to see the sunrise or sunset and avoid midday heat. Day1️⃣ Love Post Office (Lighthouse) - Xianglu Bay Beach (Fisher Girl) - Lovers' Road - The Zhuhai Opera House 🔸 Love Post Office, a romantic spot where you can send out letters of love, with the lighthouse right in front of you 🔸 Walk along Lovers' Road, passing by Xianglu Bay Beach (Fisher Girl), the symbol of Zhuhai, perfect for taking photos 🔸 The Zhuhai Opera House is built on an island and looks great from multiple angles. If you want to capture the Opera House in a photo that juxtaposes the past and present, you can get off at the bus stop at Xianglu Bay and walk forward for a few minutes to find the spot! Day2️⃣ Jingshan Park - City Balcony - Chimelong Hengqin Bay Hotel 🔸 Jingshan Park offers a panoramic view of Zhuhai's beauty and the sea. It's not a high climb and you can quickly reach the walkway, but I personally recommend taking the cable car🚡 up and the slide down (80r for a round trip on the slide, 50r for one way). The alpine coaster is really thrilling and fun, offering another perspective of the Opera House! 🔸 After descending the mountain, pass through the pedestrian tunnel to reach the City Balcony! The City Balcony is a beautiful spot facing Xianglu Bay Beach, where you can see the sea lighthouse and the magnificent Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Day3️⃣ Chimelong Ocean Kingdom It's really the ceiling of ocean-themed pavilions, with all kinds of marine animals and thrilling and dreamy amusement rides. You can walk with your loved one into the whale shark tunnel and look up to see thousands of marine creatures, feeling the shock and mystery of the ocean. Visit the penguin pavilion to watch the adorable penguins play in the ice and snow, feeling the coolness and warmth of the polar regions. It's less than a 10min walk from the Gongbei Port, the hotel faces the sea🌊, and the layout is very reasonable and comfortable, allowing you to see the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge without leaving the hotel 🔸 On the second day, choose to stay at the Chimelong Resort's Hengqin Bay Hotel, like living in a dreamy castle, with dolphins in the garden, and hotel guests can enter the park 1 hour earlier - ✅ About transportation 🚗 Sightseeing car: 20 yuan for 24 hours, starting from Gongbei Port and ending at Haitian Park, passing by the Love Post Office, Zhuhai Fisher Girl, City Balcony, and the Opera House. 🚴 Biking: I especially recommend biking along Lovers' Road, which is also very suitable for a city walk. This is my first travel note, and my first time to Guangzhou and Zhuhai. I made the travel guide myself. It's a family trip with elderly and children, so here are some small suggestions for reference! 🚗🚗🚗Travel route: We set off from home, took a morning flight and arrived in the afternoon. After checking in, we went straight to the Canton Tower. We rented a car! Day1: Yongcheng Hotel (Guangzhou Panyu Branch)→Canton Tower I highly recommend this hotel, which is also a Mecure. The rooms are new and clean, the breakfast is rich, parking is free, and parking in Guangzhou is expensive! There is a porridge restaurant next to the hotel, which is quite good, but a bit expensive! Day2: Chimelong Bird Park→Zhengjia Square Business and Tourism Area You must go to see the bird show at the Bird Park, there are so many birds, it's spectacular. The mall is very large, you can choose freely. There is a Tao Tao Ju restaurant where you can eat! Day3: Chimelong Wildlife World I suggest going during the off-peak season. During the peak season, there will be traffic jams at the entrance. We arrived at 10:30 and there were a lot of people on the small train. The train is a separate area, you can also drive yourself for 350 yuan per car. We walked all the way and it wasn't too tiring. The food inside is quite expensive, if you don't mind, you can just eat there. Homemade drinks are 35 yuan a bottle, children will want it. There are souvenir shops in each area, you can't avoid them. Parking is not expensive, it takes six or seven hours to finish without queuing! Day4: Sacred Heart Cathedral→Beijing Road Pedestrian Street→Dafo Temple→Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street→Yongqingfang We walked all the way, took a taxi to and from the hotel. This route is just right for a round trip. If you can walk, you can visit. There are small restaurants on the road, the food is not expensive. You can see the night view at Yongqingfang. You can go to Shamian after Yongqingfang or go separately. We didn't have time to go! Day5: Guangzhou South Station→Yunwan Meixing Hotel (Mingzhu Light Rail Station Branch) The high-speed rail takes one hour to Mingzhu Station, 65 yuan. I don't recommend this Meixing, it's too pitiful. It's a renovated old factory area and it's the same decoration as the Meixi apartment, but it's twice as expensive as the apartment. I suggest staying near Gongbei Port! Day6: Zhuhai Chimelong Ocean Kingdom We followed its map, starting from the right side of the dolphin. You can see every theater. We didn't play any amusement projects, there were many people in line (and we didn't dare ). The food is a bit expensive, you can bring some snacks, but you have to play all day. We came out from ten o'clock to more than six o'clock. We didn't see the parade, because it was too cold, we left. We didn't go to the spaceship. If there are no elderly people and big children, you can visit all! Day7: Zhuhai Xiangwang Meisu (Gongbei Port High-speed Rail General Station Branch)→Lovers' Road→Zhuhai Grand Theatre→Zhuhai Fisher Girl The hotel is not bad, the service is very good, but the price is a bit expensive. We booked a two-bedroom room, the marked area of 150 is definitely not there. There is a very small children's playground. Take a taxi to the Grand Theatre and walk along the seaside to the Love Post Office, which is quite far. When the weather is good, you can bring some sand digging tools. You can eat at the City Balcony. There are many places to eat around the hotel! Day8: Macau Island Tour→Home If you can't go to Macau, you can take a look. It's more than an hour. If the weather is bad, don't go. You can go to the second floor for 20 yuan to drink tea and give a piece of peach crisp. I fed the seagulls with my peach crisp. On the return journey, I was allowed to board because there was a calligraphy performance. The wind is very strong! We had an afternoon flight, so we could go boating in the morning! In conclusion, it's best to bring a child who is a bit older. If the child is too young, you know!
