华盛顿🐯:“Dogo Onsen is one of the oldest hot springs in Japan, with a long history of 3,000 years. The main building of the hot spring bath is a three-story wooden structure. After it was built, it became the symbol of Dogo Onsen. The bath in the animated film "Spirited Away" was created based on this. In 1994, Dogo Onsen was designated as an important cultural heritage by the Japanese government for the first time as a hot spring facility. This building has a magnificent and retro appearance, which is a perfect fusion of classic and modern. The hot spring hall has three floors, and different floors correspond to different prices. In addition, you can pay to visit the royal bath. There are two bathrooms on the first floor, Rei no Yu and Kami no Yu. The second floor and above are rest rooms. The young master in the novel likes to use the separate room on the third floor of Rei no Yu. There are photos of Natsume Soseki inside, which can be visited for free”

听足音:“On a steep hill in the center of Matsuyama City, Ehime Prefecture, Japan, there is a traditional Japanese ancient city, Matsuyama Castle. In ancient times, it was easy to defend and difficult to attack. Now it is the best place to climb up and overlook the city and the sea.
Matsuyama Ancient City and Castle Tower is one of the twelve existing castle towers in Japan built before the Edo period. It was built in 1602 and took 25 years to build. Later, part of the building was damaged by lightning, and the current part of the building was rebuilt in 1854.
The museum-like cultural relics exhibition in the castle tower allows visitors to learn about the history and culture of the Matsuyama area in Japan. At the same time, you can overlook the beautiful Matsuyama city and seaside scenery.”

Room was clean and compact; but the double bed is quite squeezy if you're fitting two people inside.
Buffet breakfast is 1300¥ if you inquire the day before you intend to eat. It is 1500¥ if you buy it on the day itself.
Accidentally booked a smoking room; but the staff were kind enough to change it for us once they had a room.”
