Comfort Hotel Matsuyama

Nice place with free area library for people to sit, chill, have all day coffeee and tea . If they are overnight guests

The hotel is about 5-8 mins walk from Matsuyama City Station. Numerous convenience stores around the hotel. The hotel has a library where you can have in house drinks and coffee for the guests. You can even have the meals at the library. The hotel room is very clean. The breakfast varieties are not a lot but enough for breakfast

Nice place to stay in Matsuyama. We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed ourselves very much. Location is fantastic, room is clean and comfortable. Breakfast can be crowded but you can choose to pack for takeaway if it's too crowded.

Good location. The hotel locates near Matsuyama City Tram Station where is also the terminal station of airport bus. Matsuyama port is just 20 minutes train ride away. One may walk up to the Matsuyama Castle from the hotel within 40 minutes. The castle tram station and the Okaido shopping area are also within walking distance. Staff were friendly with satisfactory services and amenities. However it was always crowded at breakfast time. Be reminded it's Matsuyama City Station but not the JR Matsuyama Station (JR).

The location is perfect. Convenis and local restaurants nearby and tram & JR stations are in walking distance. Room was clean and spacious. There was an issue with smoking smell in the room and the staff changed to a new room, but unfortunately it couldn’t be resolved (I think my floor was quite close to smoking room). Otherwise, I had great experience here. Definitely recommend.

Nice hotel in a good location. Close to the train/bus station making it easy to get in and out of the city. Walking distance to the castle and then onward to Dogo onsen. 45 minutes walk from Dogo onsen back to the hotel.  Friendly staff and service Breakfast is below average.  Only provided one pillow which was soso.  Overall a good stay - would stay again.

Staying in Comfort Hotel Matsuyama was one of the best experiences I had for my trip in Shikoku. Here are what I like about it: 1. Spacious room and new facilities (the hotel smells good as well haha) 2. Excellent location with nearby tram & train stations and 7-11 stores. 3. Great breakfast & friendly staffs. I will definitely stay here again if I ever come back to Matsuyama.

Great location, quiet at night, but easy access to both the JR Matsuyama station and the City station. Close to lots of shops and restaurants and a short tram ride away from Dogo Onsen. Staff were friendly and helped organise my luggage transfer. I didn’t really enjoy breakfast but it was included. My room was much bigger than I expected.

The hotel is inside city centre. It provides car park and free breakfast. Though the room is not large, it is good for price for value.
