Apartments in Porto District, Portugal

I was traveling alone and was very tired as it was my last trip. We were upgraded for free, so we rested very comfortably in a spacious space. The staff are friendly and the location is very good. Next time I travel, I want to visit again.

First of all, the location was right in front of the Doro River, so it was great. Of course, there were some disadvantages as well. As shown in the attached photo, there were many outdoor seats at the hotel entrance, so it was hard to find the hotel entrance. And there were many places with similar names to this accommodation from the main road, so I stopped by twice and found it on the third time. For reference, the other two hotels I stopped by said that this happens very often. One of them said that I was the third person to visit that day by mistake. So I'm attaching a photo of the front of the hotel for your reference. I made a reservation in a hurry and got a room on the 0th floor. -2nd floor reception, -1st floor lobby, 0th floor restaurant, 1st floor and above are the rooms. There is only one room on the 0th floor, and it was the one I used. As shown in the attached photo, the room was clean and satisfactory, but... It wasn't a river view. Instead, I think the price was a little cheaper than other rooms. It was on the same floor as the restaurant, so it was a little noisy. Moreover, as you can see in the picture, there are a lot of outdoor restaurant seats, so it can be a bit noisy until late at night. In particular, one day during my stay, there was a soccer game, so everyone was drinking and singing in the middle of the day. It was chaos. Please make sure to request a room on a high floor. Lastly, all the staff members were friendly and responded very well to any questions or inquiries I had.

It's a 10-minute walk from São Bento Station. If you take a Google map, it's right in front of the tunnel? The first floor is a cafe and restaurant, and the accommodation is above. When you check in, you can go into the cafe. The accommodation is basically clean and has basic refrigerators, utensils, hair dryers, shampoos, etc., and I was able to walk to the train station, tourist attractions, etc. I didn't take a taxi once and went everywhere. However, I went on a trip in January, and no matter how much I turned on the heater inside the accommodation, it was a little cold in the evening, and there were no blankets on the bed, only blankets provided separately.. 🥹 I don't usually feel the cold, but I was cold!.! Other than that, I was satisfied with the facilities, location, etc. ~

Very good location, next to a Chinese supermarket, a few hundred meters to famous attractions, and next to a large local market with a lot of delicious food, drinks and fruits. The front desk was very polite, the room facilities were complete, very satisfied

Beautifully simple suite with a kitchen that saved me money by having all that I needed to make my meals in my own place. Daily cleaning meant I didn't even have to do the dishes. The service here was fantastic, although it would have been helpful to know not to show up at the apartments, but their main desk which was 2 blocks away. This could be clarified in the booking instructions next time. Location is only a 7min walk from the train station. 15 min from the old town center with a small supermarket just 3 blocks away. Check-in was fast, as well as check-out. Secure code to open the main door to the building, with elevator or stairs too.

I recently spent four nights at Aparthotel Oporto Sol, and while my stay was overall okay, it came with a few drawbacks. First, the location is a bit outside the main area of Porto, which required some extra effort to get into the heart of the city. While the surroundings were quiet and less crowded, I did find myself relying on public transport or taxis more than I would have liked. One of the main issues was the absence of air conditioning in the bedroom. During my stay, the temperatures were warm, and it made things uncomfortable at night. Opening the windows was not an option due to the presence of mosquitoes outside, which meant I struggled to find a comfortable sleeping temperature. On the positive side, the apartment itself was spacious and generally clean. The amenities were adequate for my needs, and the staff was friendly and helpful, albeit a few blocks over. I appreciated the kitchenette, which allowed me to prepare some of my own meals during my stay. In summary, while my stay at Aparthotel Oporto Sol had its merits, the lack of air conditioning and its location outside the main area impacted my overall experience. If you're sensitive to heat or prefer to be in the city center, you may want to consider other options. Otherwise, it serves as a decent accommodation for those seeking a quieter spot.

Porto’s attractions are relatively concentrated and can be reached on foot. This apartment hotel is located in the central and prosperous area, it is convenient to go everywhere, and it is also close to the Sao Bento train station. The decoration style of the room is clean and atmospheric. The room has two bedrooms, which is suitable for families with children. Nearby are various restaurants and shops. The reception staff of the hotel are warm and kind.

As described, it has one of the best views in Porto. Located in a very central area where you can basically walk to all popular spots.

Very beautiful apartments with the great location and wonderful stuff , who are working 24 hours, enjoyed a lot ! Nearby all tourists locations, big local market and shops! Will stay again and recommend to everyone !

The concept of this hotel is actually quite practical. You don't necessarily need staff in the lobby - but it's much more pleasant. Since there are several houses in the town, you should pay close attention to the correct address when arriving. When we arrived at the wrong house, a friendly video advisor directed us to the right house. Unfortunately, the room codes were not available to us in advance, which we were only able to clarify on a hotline due to a broken video advisor display. Achieving this was not easy. But as soon as someone was there, we were helped very quickly. The house was fine. The beds were very good. What was strange, however, was a spot of dirt on my bedsheet at head height. All in all - quite okay... more intensive preparation is recommended.

A wonderful experience staying at this apartment. It’s in the middle of all attractions and walking to sights is easy and enjoyable. Rooms are big and come with powerful air-conditioning for the summer. The view out of the common terrace on the 3rd floor was fantastic for a sunset view. There’s option to store your luggage and plenty of dining options on the same street

Just far enough from the busy crowded spots to feel peaceful, yet close enough to walk and or catch many different forms of transport. We booked planning to use the Sauna and Spa after a busy days sight seeing. Unfortunately they had time Limits that didnt allow such comfort, but that just made us do more in gorgeous Porto itself. The garden are well kept, a lovely, and not so small, green space to sit and enjoy the sunshine. Ana checked us in, she was wonderfully fun and full of so much helpful Information!! She gave us a fantastic, if not a little too ambitious itinerary for our short visit. And not one piece of advice Was wrong! Thankyou!! The apartments are nice, they have a warm grounding vibe. Everything Was comfortable except our bed, but that is always relative to who's sleeping in it. Well equipped for short stays, extra kitchen Equipment was available on request. But theres too many delicious options practically on your doorstep. We barely Even had coffee in our room. I would gladly return and stay at Apartments Oporto Anselmo again. And recommend

The place is large, clean, comfortable house, visited in October, about €100, and the price is very reasonable.
