I was really skeptical about staying at this budget hotel but it surpassed expectations. This was a booking made at the last minute as the other hotels we usually stay at were very very expensive on that particular night. Be prepared for really tiny rooms and a miniscule bathroom. Between the room door and the bed there was no space to lay down and open a standard 24” suitcase. Had to place my suitcase on the bed to be able to open it. If I stretched my arms out at 90 degrees I could touch both walls of the bathroom - it's a tiny square with just enough space to stand in one place and shower with the toilet and sink right in front of your body. The shower head was actually placed right above the toilet which was a first for me but if you are not too fussy it's manageable. You don't get any bath, face or hand towels - it's all one time use disposable stuff made from non-woven fibers - again a first for me in a hotel. But having said that it was still decent value for money. I paid less than half of what I would have paid at one of the hotels I regularly stay at. The staff were extremely polite and helpful. When I returned to collect my bag they just looked up and pointed straight at my bag amongst a pile of suitcases without any luggage ticket. Location is outstanding - in the heart of TST with the MTR station just across the road - very very convenient.

I was really lucky to find such a good value-for-money room in Hong Kong. I mainly learned about it from the positive reviews, which mentioned the large, clean rooms, excellent front desk service, and full amenities. The soundproofing was great; even though it faced the street, the area was quiet with minimal traffic. There's a small shopping mall nearby for food, drinks, and shopping, and it's close to the MTR station, about 600 meters away, making it easy to find.

We were very happy with our stay at the Hygge hotel. The location is very convenient, close to the metro station and it was easy to explore the city. Our room was very small, only 9 square meters with no wardrobes so it was a bit crowded for 2 people and a bit annoying but we only stayed 2 nights so it was tolerable. The big positive side for us was the shower !!!! We realised that it is very difficult to find an accommodation with a decent price in Hong Kong with separate shower so this was a big plus for us. The room although very small, had a nice view and we could see the tall buildings and there night show. Moreover the hotel offers complimentary unlimited water, tea and coffee and the staff are very friendly and nice.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ **Unbeatable Location! The Best Value in Tsim Sha Tsui | My Inn**
If you're staying in Hong Kong and want to be in Tsim Sha Tsui with a limited budget but don't want to sacrifice location, this place is a real winner!
📍 **Location gets six stars!**
It's right around the corner from Tsim Sha Tsui MTR Exit A1 (turn right after exiting). You can walk to Victoria Harbour, the Avenue of Stars, and Harbour City all within 5 minutes. Canton Road's luxury boutiques, iSquare, and The One are all easily accessible for shopping. Nathan Road is right downstairs, and you'll find Lan Fong Yuen and various 'cha chaan tengs' (Hong Kong-style cafes) as soon as you step out – super convenient.
🏠 **Room & Hygiene**
Typical Hong Kong budget guesthouse – the room is indeed small (9-11 sqm). It might be a bit tight for two people with large suitcases laid out, but it's compact and well-arranged. The bedding is clean, the private bathroom has powerful hot water, and all the essentials are provided (hairdryer, electric kettle, free toiletries, stable WiFi). Knowing that space is at a premium in Hong Kong, I just wanted a good night's sleep and a convenient shower, and this place perfectly delivered.
💁 **Service**
There's someone at the front desk 24 hours a day, and communication via WeChat before check-in was very smooth. They even offer free luggage storage, which was a lifesaver – I checked out, explored until evening, and then came back to pick up my bags. Hassle-free.
**A small tip:** When booking, double-check whether you're getting a window or no-window room. No-window rooms are quieter but can feel a bit stuffy. Rooms facing Nathan Road with windows might get some traffic noise, so for light sleepers, I'd suggest a windowless room plus earplugs.
**Summary:** For not a lot of money, you get to stay in the heart of Tsim Sha Tsui. It's clean, safe, and the transportation is top-notch. It's the perfect base for 'sleeping, showering, and changing clothes' 🏙️ I'll definitely rebook on my next trip to Hong Kong!

This hostel is super easy to find! There's a 7-Eleven right downstairs, and Tsim Sha Tsui MTR Station Exit A1 is just across the street. The street itself is bustling with shops like Muji, Donki, Sasa, and Sakura. Above the hostel is Kowloon Park, which is a big plus for anyone wanting to snap photos of the fountains – it's literally a step away! The popular Mong Kok Cafe is also only about 150 meters away. Just a heads up, you'll need to walk into the alley next to Haiphong Mansion, and there's no elevator, so be prepared to carry your luggage up to the 2nd floor. The room was surprisingly quiet, and the bathroom and shower were perfectly adequate. The air conditioning runs all day, which is great. Overall, fantastic value for money for a hostel!

This is a lively, budget-friendly hostel, perfect for solo travelers. As you can see in the second picture, there's a whole wall in the corridor covered with notes left by previous guests. The owner is an incredibly kind and helpful young woman who patiently answers all your questions. The room, though not large, is very clean and even comes with a universal adapter. The hotel is located right above the Mong Kok shopping street, making it incredibly convenient for shopping, dining, and getting around. There are some excellent restaurants nearby, and it's easy to reach places like Sham Shui Po and Kowloon Tong by subway. The soundproofing is also quite good; once the windows are closed, you can't hear a thing, ensuring a very peaceful night's sleep.

The hotel's location is super convenient, just a 3-minute walk from Yau Ma Tei Station Exit D, and Exit C is also very close, just across the street. The front desk is on the 7th floor, and the staff are all really nice. The room was clean and tidy, with good amenities like a safe and a mini-fridge. The bathroom had a wet/dry separation, with mouthwash cups and towels, but toiletries aren't complimentary (you can buy them). Soundproofing is just okay; you can hear people talking or doors opening/closing in the hallway. However, it gets pretty quiet late at night once people stop coming and going, so it didn't affect my sleep. The area around the hotel is also bustling, with plenty of places to eat and shop. For the price, it offers good value for money.

The room was comfortable, very clean, and although small, it felt quite new. The shower gel and shampoo were excellent and smelled great; my hair felt lovely and bouncy after washing. A standout feature was that I didn't need a travel adapter to charge my phone, which was really convenient. They also provided a hot and cold water dispenser, and when we bought instant noodles back one evening, the front desk even supplied chopsticks. You can tell the owner pays great attention to detail. The location is superb! We took the high-speed rail from Futian, Shenzhen, to West Kowloon, and it was just a 20-minute walk along Canton Road, passing shops along the way. In the evening, it was also a short walk to Victoria Harbour and the Avenue of Stars, which we really appreciated. The staff were very thoughtful, recommending local eateries, and they stored our luggage after check-out. On the day we checked in, my family wasn't feeling well, and the gentleman at the front desk specially went out to buy medicine for us, which we were very grateful for. Our stay in Hong Kong was excellent, and we had a wonderful trip.

We truly enjoyed our stay here in Airy Stay. The accommodation was very clean, well-maintained, and matched the photos perfectly. The location was excellent—close to public transportation, convenience stores, and dining options, which made getting around the city very easy. They had shampoos and towels, everything you need!
The staff welcomed us but she didn't speak English so we had trouble in communicating using google translate, you also need to message the owner in advance for the room number and passcode. The whole place was very quiet but clean. The rooms are located in the 9th floor, the floors below I assume is a bar? And the elevator was so small it could barely fit 6 people, and was super unclean. It reeks of cigarette from the men who rides the elevator everyday. But overall, it was a comfortable and pleasant experience, and we would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Hong Kong!

Stayed for three nights with the kids. The guesthouse was super easy to find, located in Tsim Sha Tsui, one of Hong Kong's busiest areas. Right downstairs, there are A21 bus stops and subway entrances, making transportation incredibly convenient. You can totally rely on Gaode Maps for accurate navigation, whether you're walking or taking the bus/subway. It's just a few hundred meters' walk to Victoria Harbour, the Avenue of Stars, the Space Museum, the Science Museum, the Art Museum, and the Museum of History. I even walked to Mong Kok and Yau Ma Tei myself. Getting anywhere is a breeze.
The room was small, and the facilities were average, but it did have a universal adapter, so you don't need to bring your own. The Wi-Fi signal was strong and reliable. The accommodation felt very safe and quiet. The owner, from Hainan, is a really nice person and easy to communicate with. You can reach out to them for any issues during your stay! I also wish the owner a prosperous business!

NNomijI am writing this based on my experience. We all have different opinions, and satisfactions. So overall for me is a 10/10 experience, its near at the mtr, busses and taxi’s. Also, a place comfy enough to sleep with. On our 8 days and 7 nights experience, we never encounter any difficulties or problems. The Aircon (AC), heater, lights, and flush are working. If you are going on a vacation here at HK, and looking for a place that is comfortable to sleep with. Few walks, from the hostel to MTR station, and your destination. Its also, near at K11 Mall, and victoria harbour which make this hostel a good option. And also, the fist day, we noticed the notes and its kinda witty, and we loved it 😂. It doesn’t matter to us, what our hostel looks like, as long as it was nice and comfortable to stay with. Note: If you didn’t receive and towels, you’re out of plastics, tissue. DON’T hesitate to message them (they are nice and friendly) and ask for it. If i’ll go back again, I’ll probably choose this hostel! I’m writing this right while riding the bus, and some of you may not care. Anyways, the date is April 30, 2026. Very Recent. Good price, good experience. ❤️

ᠣᠣᠮᠣᠷᠬᠠᠭ ᠴᠢᠨᠣᠠAfter all, it's Hong Kong, so the room was indeed small, but the service was still good. People might be worried about staying in Chungking Mansions, thinking it might be a problem, but in reality, it barely had any impact. The security was also very good; it's not as scary as some online stories make it out to be.

MMichelUHi this is specific place you have to be aware of that. Building is full of hostels. Every flor is different hostel. There is no name of hostel on the board. You have to go directly to 16th floor. In rush hour you will have to wait a bit for a lift, but generally I am aware for the price you can expect to much. Big advantage is clean room even though surroundings might say something else. The worst for us was fact that hostel lie in information provided for trip. Rooms doesn’t have 14 square meters , maximum is half of that. We should get room with another view. Generally for the price in Hong Kong it’s ok but do not be fool by information provided by hotel on Trip.com. If you are backpacker then I think you can manage but I will not recommend it for families or couples.
What’s more we get room at 6th floor, Water drops from the air conditioners on higher floors were dripping onto our AC unit all night, so unfortunately, we couldn't get a good night's sleep.

CChiapanecooSimple and clean place to stay. Fantastic location in Kowloon, near everything on that side. Fantastic wifi. Comfortable beds with curtain. There is hot/cool drinking water. No common area. Guests are mostly mainland Chinese.
Be aware of the check-in process before booking!! If you don't already have an active and unblocked WeChat account, I suggest you do not book here.
- Host does not respond to Trip.com messaging. Only via WeChat (but not a WeChat account linked to the phone number in the booking confirmation)
- To find the WeChat code for check-in, locate ”Tsimshatsui Mansion” on Google maps. When you arrive, find elevator #1 or #2 (see attached map), and go to the 8th floor. Other elevators won't access the room - only use those two elevators!
- Once you reach the door, scan the WeChat code, send them a screenshot of your booking confirmation, and within a few minutes they'll send you the codes. (I've attached a picture of the WeChat code.)
- Be advised that WeChat is incredibly difficult for many foreigners to set up. It's not a simple app like WhatsApp or Line. You often need to find a person with a mainland WeChat account (not a HK account) to authenticate you, though even that fails sometimes. Don't wait until you're at the door to try to make an account.
- Without Wechat, I'm not sure if you can check-in. There was one non-Chinese guest who stood outside for a while trying to set up WeChat, until a kind neighbor happened to pass by and scanned the WeChat code for her.
- Host could simply send the check-in codes via Trip.com messaging. It would make their life a lot easier and things incredibly better for non-Chinese guests. I recommend they change to doing this.

GGuest UserIt's okay, but it's a bit awkward when you come home late at night and the guard is sleeping by the roadside. There's no 24-hour front desk, but there is a guard sleeping by the side. If you're not too picky, it's fine. The room is small, just enough. The location is great, right outside the MTR station and bus station in the TST area. Free water and they even provide an adapter and a dipper.

GGuest UserThe property is in an excellent location, the room is quiet, and the staff are very helpful. The shower isn’t very convenient, but it’s acceptable for Hong Kong. The beds are very comfortable. The cleanliness was acceptable, though not perfect.
