I was really skeptical about staying at this budget hotel but it surpassed expectations. This was a booking made at the last minute as the other hotels we usually stay at were very very expensive on that particular night. Be prepared for really tiny rooms and a miniscule bathroom. Between the room door and the bed there was no space to lay down and open a standard 24” suitcase. Had to place my suitcase on the bed to be able to open it. If I stretched my arms out at 90 degrees I could touch both walls of the bathroom - it's a tiny square with just enough space to stand in one place and shower with the toilet and sink right in front of your body. The shower head was actually placed right above the toilet which was a first for me but if you are not too fussy it's manageable. You don't get any bath, face or hand towels - it's all one time use disposable stuff made from non-woven fibers - again a first for me in a hotel. But having said that it was still decent value for money. I paid less than half of what I would have paid at one of the hotels I regularly stay at. The staff were extremely polite and helpful. When I returned to collect my bag they just looked up and pointed straight at my bag amongst a pile of suitcases without any luggage ticket. Location is outstanding - in the heart of TST with the MTR station just across the road - very very convenient.

I booked a single room, and I've stayed here before. The location is absolutely fantastic, right in a building on Lock Road next to Nathan Road. It's incredibly convenient for transport. You can walk to Victoria Harbour, K11, Harbour City, and other malls. For the return trip to the airport, the A21 bus goes directly there. Plus, the street downstairs is full of snack stalls and delicious food.

The hotel's location is super convenient, just a 3-minute walk from Yau Ma Tei Station Exit D, and Exit C is also very close, just across the street. The front desk is on the 7th floor, and the staff are all really nice. The room was clean and tidy, with good amenities like a safe and a mini-fridge. The bathroom had a wet/dry separation, with mouthwash cups and towels, but toiletries aren't complimentary (you can buy them). Soundproofing is just okay; you can hear people talking or doors opening/closing in the hallway. However, it gets pretty quiet late at night once people stop coming and going, so it didn't affect my sleep. The area around the hotel is also bustling, with plenty of places to eat and shop. For the price, it offers good value for money.

This guest house is well situated with shops and restaurants all around and the best part is that it is close to the West Kowloon train station. The rooms are clean and the place is quiet. Very compact though but efficient. Just bear in mind to get your own water or water bottle that the receptionist can fill for you.

I had heard that hotels in Hong Kong were small and expensive, but this hotel completely exceeded my expectations. It was very clean, and the room was larger than I anticipated, even featuring a big and a small bed. Plus, the large window offered a great view directly onto Nathan Road. I'm very satisfied.

This is my third time staying at the Kam Mun and the location is just unbeatable! I've successfully recommended it to another friend. It's perfectly situated between Mong Kok and Yau Ma Tei, with Mannings, Matsumoto Kiyoshi, Langham Place, and Sasa all nearby. It's super convenient to drop off your shopping at the hotel and then head back out. It's also close to the Broadway Cinematheque, and a city walk around Sham Shui Po is easily accessible. Tsim Sha Tsui and Central are just one MTR line away, and there's a bus stop right outside the building! Even though I didn't get to see OOR live as planned, I still had a fantastic time on my long-awaited trip to Hong Kong! The owner and the ladies are as warm and attentive as ever. Wishing them all the best with their business, see you next time~

The hotel's sign was really small, and I spent a while looking for it in the vicinity. I hope the hotel can add a horizontal sign. The front desk lady was very helpful. The room facilities were complete, and although the area was small, it was a good experience and I could easily open my suitcase. Trip.com stated that a deposit was required, so I specifically exchanged 500 HKD, but they didn't collect it upon check-in. I hope the hotel can update their check-in requirements.

This hostel is super easy to find! There's a 7-Eleven right downstairs, and Tsim Sha Tsui MTR Station Exit A1 is just across the street. The street itself is bustling with shops like Muji, Donki, Sasa, and Sakura. Above the hostel is Kowloon Park, which is a big plus for anyone wanting to snap photos of the fountains – it's literally a step away! The popular Mong Kok Cafe is also only about 150 meters away. Just a heads up, you'll need to walk into the alley next to Haiphong Mansion, and there's no elevator, so be prepared to carry your luggage up to the 2nd floor. The room was surprisingly quiet, and the bathroom and shower were perfectly adequate. The air conditioning runs all day, which is great. Overall, fantastic value for money for a hostel!

It feels like jump into the middle of Hong Kong movie. Everything is cool and the extravagant outside scenery of high buildings, it reminds me the news dealing the life of Hong Kong people. They were enduring their daily life staying at really tiny piece of room so called 'chicken box', yet could not leave this city to spare their own surrounders. The great difference exists between the two places one for taking a rest and the other for spending money. I believe it stands out the identity of this city, and the reason which makes Hong Kong be loved by all around the world simultaneously. Room condition for the 'Hong Kong Mansion' was pretty not bad, actually it's really hard to find another case with the same price. The managers of this building can speake english, so there's no difficulty to communicate with the foreigners just like me. Also, you can enjoy for luxury shopping since it is located in the central of shopping street literally.

LLuna Blanca Ysmeralda⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a great stay at Venetian Hostel in Tsim Sha Tsui! The location is honestly one of the best things about it — it’s right in the center of everything in TST. There are so many food places just outside the building, so finding something to eat was never a problem. The MTR is also very convenient, only about a 2-minute walk from TST Station Exit D2, which made commuting around Hong Kong super easy. If you’re coming from the airport by bus, you can simply stop at bus stop #14 (Mirador Mansion), which is very close to the hostel. Another thing we appreciated was the housekeeping. They collect the trash every day, so when we came back our bins were already clean. They also changed our bedsheets and towels even though we didn’t request it, which was a really nice touch. Just a small tip: they sometimes offer room upgrades when you arrive, but you can always say NO if you want to stick with your budget. We stayed on the 13th floor, and that floor has a free water refilling station (which the other floors don’t have), so that was a big plus for us. The only downside is that the elevator in the building can be very slow, especially during busy hours. But overall, the stay was comfortable, clean, and very convenient. Great option if you’re looking for a budget place in TST!

이규진My intention has been fully revealed. This is not a matter of money, but my right. I canceled it but refused to refund it. Don't avoid it, and if I reveal my intention, I will act accordingly. She said that I don't understand the total 110 Hong Kong dollar deposit due to tax, but she told me that this is Korean, don't you know? Later, she said that she would return 100 Hong Kong dollars excluding tax. I understood. I made my intention clear. I don't have Hong Kong dollars right now because I am waiting for transfer, so I will leave my passport or if that doesn't work, I will pick up the money at the ATM. However, my English speaking skills were not good enough to express it. That's why I needed a mobile phone interpretation application. I showed my charging cable and asked for charging, saying that my phone only charges 1%, but at the reception, I started raising my voice, saying that I couldn't understand the story of the deposit, saying that I couldn't charge it. In the meantime, I tried to communicate using the interpretation application, but the phone was turned off at that moment. I asked for charging again, but I didn't accept it. I raised my voice in this part Without listening to my opinion at all, she showed me an interpreted screen, saying, ”I don't understand the contents of the deposit tax,” and again she mocked me, saying, ”This is Korean, but I don't understand.” While checking in, she heard someone talk to her on the phone. Maybe she was a guest trying to check in. He was wandering around on the sixth floor, and while someone was rushing her, he heard her hang up and say a little swear word, maybe she didn't feel good. I tried to understand that her mind was going to be hard, but the anger came back to me. When I raised my voice, she shouted, ”Call the police.” I asked to call because I wasn't at fault, and then another employee started mediating with me, and I stopped being angry for myself because I was tired from the long trip. It may not have been easy at this point, but if she had apologized to me, I would not have canceled it. But there was no apology, and I showed her the cancellation screen and agreed. This is the whole story of the incident, and when I took turns asking another guest, she told me that she was just an employee and that the big white man who was sitting next to me was the boss. I was surprised once more Under those circumstances, the white man had no intervention or explanation at all. I request the hostel! The cancellation is my intention, but admit that it is 100% of the problem with the hostel's response to make it so. And I ask for a refund. This amount is 25000 won in Hong Kong dollars, 150 dollars in Hong Kong dollars, 19 dollars in U.S. dollars, 2500 yen in Chinese yuan, 19 yuan in Indian rupees, 19 yuan in Indian rupees. I will skip it any more. This is not a matter of money, it is a matter of my pride. I know this message can be checked by you at the desk in real time. Make a clear decision at 30 minutes whether it is positive or negative. I ask again. Do not avoid it, but make an accurate decision. And I ask for a respectful apology.

GGuest UserThe location is fantastic, with a subway station right downstairs. We arrived at West Kowloon by high-speed rail and it was just one subway stop away. In the evening, it's a seven-minute walk to Victoria Harbour to see the night view and take the Star Ferry. There are also many shopping malls and restaurants nearby; the curry fish balls are incredibly delicious! The room was small, but for Hong Kong, in this location, it's quite good. The room was very clean, and the front desk staff provided excellent service. The room was tidied daily, and our belongings were neatly arranged. A big plus was the water dispenser, allowing us to fill our water bottles every day, as buying water in Hong Kong can be expensive. Overall, I was very satisfied with this stay.

ZZhajibunengjiare0919I traveled alone to Hong Kong and was pleasantly surprised by how great this hostel was. I was a bit worried at first, but it turned out to be really convenient and affordable. The hostel is super close to the MTR station and very easy to find. Once you're on the right floor, just scan the QR code on the door to add the owner on WeChat. The owner replies incredibly fast and will immediately send you the room password. **Cleanliness:** Although the room is small, it's very clean and tidy, with no strange odors. **Environment:** The surrounding area is very lively, with lots of food options downstairs, making it super convenient for exploring. Even though it's a mixed-gender dorm, the female-only rooms are separate and have their own passwords. The bathroom is also inside the room, so men can't enter, which makes it very safe. There are surveillance cameras in the corridor and outside the door. It's really suitable for solo female travelers. It's rare to find such an affordable and clean place. If you're traveling alone to Hong Kong, I highly recommend this place. Plus, there's free bottled water, toothbrushes, and towels! Amazing!

GGuest UserIt's okay, but it's a bit awkward when you come home late at night and the guard is sleeping by the roadside. There's no 24-hour front desk, but there is a guard sleeping by the side. If you're not too picky, it's fine. The room is small, just enough. The location is great, right outside the MTR station and bus station in the TST area. Free water and they even provide an adapter and a dipper.

MMax_Nicole_When I booked I didn't knew it was in the Chungking Mansion. Its know as the ghetto. Let's start with the good thing. It has a great location, close to everything. The problem is that Chungking mansion is a massive appartement complex and has a streetmarket down. It is really unsafe according to fire safety. Everything has dust and I got really claustrophobic. The first night I didn't sleep cause I was scared of getting trapped in case of a fire. The cover of the bed was really dirty and had body liquid stains and fungus. So I end up sleeping under my disposable towel. I would have really want to go to another appartement, but I already paid really much money and a better place would have even cost way more money.

KKonstantin ProtasovWe stayed at this place in Chungking Mansions for 5 nights. We booked a room for two with separate beds and windows on two sides, which was a big plus — having windows made it possible to ventilate the room, which is not always common in this building. The room and the guesthouse overall were clean, which we really appreciated. The location is also very convenient, close to the waterfront in Kowloon and within walking distance of everything you might need. There are a few downsides to consider. The bathroom is extremely small and not very ergonomic — the toilet is positioned in such a way that when you sit on it, your legs extend outside the bathroom, making it impossible to close the door. It’s hard to imagine how three people could comfortably stay in this room. The water heater in the shower worked fine, but the hot water supply is limited. Wi-Fi is available, though not very stable. There are hot and cold water dispensers in the hallway, which is convenient. The room also has air conditioning, a ceiling fan, and a TV. A nice detail is the storage space under the beds — it’s quite spacious and practical for luggage. Overall, the price is quite low, and if you’re traveling on a budget, this can be a good value for money, especially considering the location.
