My booking confirmation showed the car pick-up location as SYD International Terminal, so I took a 20-minute bus from the Domestic Terminal with my family and all our luggage. When I arrived, the staff informed me that my car was actually at the Domestic Terminal. It was raining heavily, and I didn’t want to spend another 20-30 minutes traveling back with my family in those conditions. Additionally, the staff told me the car I booked was much smaller than what was shown on Trip.com—I booked a mid-size SUV but apparently would have received a much smaller car. Given the situation, my only option was to accept an upgrade so I could pick up a car immediately at the International Terminal. Fortunately, the upgraded car was comfortable and met our needs, but the overall experience was quite inconvenient due to the misleading information and lack of clarity during the booking process.
