The room was next to the elevator, so it was noisy and hard to sleep. The breakfast was also like that, so I thought 700 yen was expensive.

This is one of the best hotels in shimonosek...staff is very accommodating and so clean and accessible...when I get back I will book this hotel...

Location is convenient, 5-minute walk from JR Shimonoseki Station - through the footbridge or the underpass (footbridge recommended if you are carrying with you large pieces of luggage as elevators are available). Room setting is great - I especially liked the couch area. Cleanliness was acceptable, but could have been even better. Coin laundry machines at the hotel are among the best I've tried - the passcode lock feature of the machines prevents your clothing items from being mistakenly taken by others.

The location is super convenient, across the road from New Yamaguchi Station, next to there are restaurants and convenience shops, so there is no problem with eating.The only thing is because there are restaurants, so at night D friends are very noisy down there, especially when When you do not close the window, had to bring your own earplugs, the hotel staff is very NICE, although I asked the question of putting luggage on TRIP.COM no one replied to me, but to the scene the hotel staff are very HELPFUL to help KEEP wearing the luggage again night D CHECK IN 。

This is not the Hotel in the photo added. The hotel is a reasonable Japanese style business hotel. The staff were very kind and friendly and tried to help us with the booking problem cause by Trip.com. The booking agency (Trip.com) had booked us as 6 guests and charged us accordingly. We were 4 adults and one child and were overcharged by Trip.com by 1/3 of the price (about 10,000 yen). The hotel staff were helpful but they couldn't do anything as this was a mistake by the agents not the hotel. I will be contacting Trip.com to ask for a refund of the amount they charged us in error.

The breakfast was delicious. The large communal bath was clean and I was able to relax in it. However, even though I made a reservation with breakfast included on this website, the check-in machine at the reception desk asked me to select the number of people for breakfast, and when I asked the receptionist, I was told that it was for a room only. The reservation document said ”2 people for breakfast,” so I asked them to confirm again, and I'm glad I printed it out and took it with me.

Unbeatable location with many rooms ( or all rooms) and public spaces facing Tsunoshima Bridge. Our room faced the ocean directly with no obstruction. The bath was also quite decent and the outdoor bath is next to the sea. You can enjoy the sound of the waves while bathing in the hot spa. It should be quite spectacular during sunset. The spa was probably renovated within the last 10 years as it was in good condition. The room , however, felt old and the corridor was damp. The carpet in the room felt damp and the room felt stuffy. The AC worked well and we turned it on high. Our triple room as spacious but I felt itchy the whole night while sleeping- although the sheets looked clean ( I slept on the added bed). The other two beds looked slumped in the middle. Bathroom also looked quite old( from the 70’s)? My room was at the far end wing and there were lots of stairs to walk up and down from the front desk which was on the third floor. The staff will help to bring the luggages to your room ( also at check out - just call). Hotel restaurant serves dinner buffet . If you are not interested, the hotel also has a list of restaurants nearby with 10-30 minutes drive. We drove out to have yakitori in a small down, which was very local, but with friendly owner, good food- and super cheap price ( each yakitori was about ¥120-150 yen. Breakfast buffet has both Japanese and western offers, taste was average. Overall service was very good.

The room is clean and tidy and fully furnished. Towels are too old. Breakfast is a Japanese set meal, simple and clean, okay. Very close to Xiaguan Railway Station, convenient for transportation and shopping. There is a shop a few steps to the left of the hotel. The sashimi is delicious. Many locals come to eat it. The price is not expensive. Please post the photo of the shop for reference.

Checking is is very efficient with a touchscreen machine, where also the passports are scanned. It is however lacking any human connection. I prefer the human contact when checking in. Room was as expected.

My friend also said, ”You were able to stay at this price at this time of year.” It was a great help because it was a room-only stay. It's wonderful.

This is a trip I took with my parents. I made a reservation for a 3-person connecting room. When I used it that day, it seemed like two rooms had been opened and could be used as connecting rooms. So it was much more convenient to have two bathrooms available. You can take a hot spring bath on the second floor, and the breakfast was good in Japanese style. Check-out was at 10 am, but I was very satisfied because I was able to check out at 12 pm by adding 2,000 yen. The location was close to the pier and the staff were very friendly. What I liked the most was that it was a new place and it was clean :) If I travel here again, I think I will stay there again.

The hotel is about a ten-minute walk from Yuda Onsen JR Station. The service staff had a great attitude. The hotel includes free hot springs; there is also free-to-drink alcohol and drinks at the bar from 6 to 9 o'clock every night. I just felt that the room was too small.

The hotel's exterior was gorgeous, the rooms were very clean, and the breakfast menu was extensive, so I was able to spend a very meaningful time there. It was also a hotel that made me want to stay there again if I come to Yamaguchi.

It takes 10-15 minutes to walk from the JR train station to the hotel. It is easy to find the hotel. There are many local buses at the hotel gate, which is convenient for travel. It was conveniently available despite late reservations in front of Shin-Yamaguchi Station. The facilities can be seen in the old part, but they are well maintained and the rooms are large and comfortable.

I went on a short trip to Hagi with my daughter who came home from afar after a long time. I couldn't make a reservation for the accommodation because it was decided a month ago, but I was relieved to get the Hagi Travel Inn somehow. We used a twin bed and tatami mats ocean view semi open-air baths and Japanese style rooms and sea side Japanese rooms. The Japanese-Western room was new and we were able to relax slowly in a room that was too large for two people. The bath was semi open-air, so it was good not to be cold even in winter. I booked a Japanese-style room only for sleeping, but I was able to spend time enjoying the excitement of sleeping on a mattress on the tatami mats. The futon was prepared at dinner. There were two hot springs, and open-air baths and saunas were available. The amenities and dressers were substantial. The meal was prepared in the morning and evening, and the fish and meat were delicious. The staff took care of me and I was able to spend a very fulfilling time. Thank you very much.

Service was really first rate. Despite our not speaking Japanese, the staff were always patient and helpful. They guided us in adapting to the Ryokan customs and provided very personalized service without being intrusive. The gardens and facilities are well maintained and create a serene experience.

Having similar apartment booked with the same host for the trip. Frankly, overall experience is good, though this property is a little dusty. Hagi is not a city for shopping, also found it difficult for dining out though quite a number of restaurants around, most of them were fully booked on the day we stay. Have to drive 5 minutes for food around McDonald's and Lawson. It's still a great place to visit and stay at this property and a property value for money!
