Very good hotel, with a magnificent pool. Relatively close to the city center, you can walk.
What I don't understand is that you can't pay by card if you buy less than €5 at the hotel bar. You can't have a beer without metal. One of the people who worked there insisted a lot that you couldn't pay less than €5 with a card, it was also difficult for them to charge it to my room by showing my ID at reception, finally and as an exceptional favor, they charged it to me and I paid it in the checking out. It shouldn't be that difficult.😫
The AP Dona Aninhas was a beautiful hotel with all the amenities! The service was exceptional, the food fantastic and accommodations great. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Got a great price on the hotel also. They also went above and beyond. They connected with our next nights hotel and made arrangements with them to pick up our swimwear that we forgotten in our rooms. It was at our next hotel when we showed up later that day.

We had a fantastic stay at Axis hotel! The staff was incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to make us feel at home. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The location was perfect, with easy access to local attractions. We especially loved the breakfast and spa. Can’t wait to come back!”
The hotel is located in the heart of the city centre, the hotel is located in the heart of the city centre. They should celebrate events in the chapel that is spectacular in a unique environment
Hotel with excellent sea view, opposite view (mountain) is an industrial area.
Hotel is near a highly moving road (even night), room with little soundless windows which did not allow rest
A satisfactory buffet breakfast, but nothing special.
The pool and gym belong to the Solinca Group, with internal access to the hotel and can be used several times.
To help, a football team was hosted that last night decided to celebrate in the lobby and in the rooms, to which the hotel staff did not give the proper answer to the problem, preferring discomfort and the complaints of the guests the resolution of the situation.
I will not return to this hotel, there are other quiet and more targeted options for guests in this city.
One night stay – enough for a small wet adventure
We stayed one night in Villa Galé de Ponte de Lima (05-06/07) and despite the romantic name and the mouthful landscape, the experience has been both curiosous and wet. The hotel is in a farm, which is great... since it doesn't rain. When it rains, prepare for a kind of tropical rally between buildings without a rainfall.
The room was not ready at the arrival (about 17:00), a classic, and fortunately they offered us a drink in the bar while we were waiting, which was well known and avoided a shock in the lobby.
The rooms are a real sauna tour. I think they are trying to save in light but compensate with human heat... much... a pity of cleaning officials, who probably do cardio just push the car in there.
Positive points: the dinner was good, the indoor pool also enjoyed. Now, the outdoor pool... well, prepare for a kind of “sparkling battle”. There is little for the number of guests and for those who think of extending a towel on the grass... surprise!
The breakfast was a return to normality: good, varied and unsurprised, which is half a way to start the day without irony.
In short, it is not bad, but it is from the experiences that depend on the time. With sun, maybe it would come back. With rain? They only offer the rainguard and rubber boots at the entrance.
