AAnonymous UserThe hotel is located near a large outlet mall, but other than that, the area isn't very lively; it's more like an industrial zone. Its main advantage is its proximity to the convention center. Most of the guests are tour groups from India and Indonesia, and the smell of spices is incredibly strong – a real olfactory test in the elevators and restaurant! The hotel room itself was alright, but the bathroom outlet was broken. Not only was the cover falling off, but the hairdryer wouldn't stay plugged in unless you bent over and held it directly in front of the outlet. Everything else was acceptable, I suppose.
LLiangouni93The hotel is surrounded by plenty of dining options, which is incredibly convenient. The area really comes alive at night. While the room size is a bit on the smaller side, the facilities are brand new and everything is spotless. Plus, on the second floor, you can do some light cooking, and there are small meeting rooms, a gym, and a laundry room available. I'd definitely recommend staying here for business trips.
GGuest UserExcellent, excellent, excellent! It's so fancy, I think it's good. I'm mainly here to leave a review, but I'm not sure what to say. What should I say? I haven't actually stayed at the hotel myself; I just booked it for someone else. How many points can I get at most? How much do I need to type?
GGuest UserI think the current rating of 8.0/10 is totally underrated!!!
For the price it offers great value to the level of a 4-star hotel. In Tokyo, for example , a similar wide room would cost at least double.
Modern and clean room, amazing sunrise with marina view. Costs 9000 KRW in the morning and 13000 KRW in the evening to/from Gimpo airport, and just 15 min away.
I would definitely stay again if I have a layover in Seoul
GGuest UserHotel is in a good location nearby Pyeongtaek station. Room needed some TLC as caulking looked moldy and light in bathroom was out. It was also odd that they left us one towel for 2 guests.
AAnonymous UserIf you like „industrial chic“ style, this hotel is for you. Tall rooms, felt very airy. Stayed in 27th floor (top floor) and the view was quite nice.
Besides that; newish 4* hotel with all the perks you get in Korea (no amenities besides soap/conditioner by law), the bed was comfortable, nice small sofa/table, lot of storage space (really liked that), and a great no-frills shower (not a rainshower, just steady temperature and strong pressure)
The pool is also awesome, as it works both as an outdoor version (first day was 27C warm so it was fully open) and second day it was raining at 14C, and the pool was fully indoor. Really well designed, loved to swim in both conditions.
Transportation is convenient, for the cheap metro you have to check the timetables as it drives only about once an hour, but high speed trains are available too and bring you to downtown Seoul in about 15min for not that much more money. Metro is convenient if you go to other locations rather than Seoul city centre.
Direct airport limousine bus available too, for 16k Won. If you are 3 people or more, can be cheaper to hire a taxi/van.
Last but not least, there are a lot of restaurants just around the hotel, and the whole area is more lively than what you might think. From breakfast till 3am late night food/drinks, there is everything.
So overall, I really liked the place and will stay again here
AAnonymous UserMy overall experience was excellent. I stayed here for five days on a business trip. The front desk staff was very easy to communicate with, and there was a lady who spoke Chinese exceptionally well, which was a huge help. Her Chinese was truly fluent and her communication was very clear 👍🏻. There was also a male manager – I didn't catch their names – but their service was also very attentive. The hotel can arrange car services to the bus station or other places. They helped me book a car to the station and even informed me of the cost beforehand, which was incredibly thoughtful. I was very satisfied with the service.
There are many restaurants and convenience stores downstairs, making dining very convenient. There's also a microwave on the second floor, so if you don't want to go out, you can buy food from the convenience store, store it in the fridge, and heat it up on the second floor. The room also has a balcony where you can get some fresh air. The only minor inconveniences were that the bathroom didn't have a waterproof curb, and there were no power outlets by the bedside. Overall, I was still very satisfied.
GGuest UserWe stayed at AC Hotel by Marriott Seoul Geumjeong for 6 nights (Apr 1-7) as a family trip from Sydney, Australia. Overall it was a decent stay, though with a few notable issues worth mentioning.
On the positive side, the hotel was absolutely sparkly clean throughout - rooms, corridors, and common areas were immaculate. The staff were very polite, warm, and welcoming at every interaction, which made a real difference. Breakfast was enjoyable and of good quality, but unfortunately the exact same menu was repeated every single day with no variation, which became monotonous by the end of a 6-night stay.
However, we did experience some disappointments. We booked a Premier King Room with City View, but the view was largely blocked by a construction site directly in front of the window - they changed our room in the second day of stay. We were also misled about pool access, which was a letdown especially travelling with kids. Additionally, there was an unpleasant odour in the room that we had to deal with(was fixed after our complain to service desk). We raised these concerns with the hotel and Trip.com, and while the support team was responsive, the outcome didn't fully address our losses.
The location near Geumjeong Station was convenient for getting around Seoul.
GGuest UserWe stayed at the residence side and I must say it is one of the best, if not the best hotel we’ve ever stayed in on all of our travels. Very spacious, clean and NEW!!!
All the staff members were very attentive, especially the manager for the WiFi support was courteous and responsive. I would highly recommend this hotel for quality, service and value for the money. Having the 24-hr CU (mini mart) in the 1st floor of the hotel was very convenient.
Special shout out to our housekeeping staff, who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable.
Just few minor suggestions to the hotel management:
1. Don’t need a calendar, but do need clocks in the living room and the bedroom.
2. Need a trash can in the kitchen/dining table area.
3. Would be good to have a small dish rack, since guests are required to do the dishes
4. The sliding door from the master bedroom to the showers flaps around when closed if the heater or air is on. Needs to somehow stabilize it, it doesn’t make noise trying to sleep.
With just few minor improvements it would be a “perfect” place to stay!
AAnonymous UserIt's pretty good and very convenient. There's a CU convenience store on the first floor, and I went there almost every night to buy a bunch of snacks. It's really friendly for business travelers; it's super easy to grab something to eat and drink after finishing work!
