We stayed here as a couple and loved every moment. The room was clean, beautifully designed, and felt relaxing as soon as we walked in. After enjoying the private onsen bath made of wood and stone, we watched a movie on the projector while lying on the tatami, which felt so cozy and special.
The amenities were carefully selected and felt high-quality, adding to the relaxing stay. You can tell the host cares about every detail. If you want authentic Japanese experience with your partner, this place is a perfect choice.

It sounds like you had an amazing experience at that hostel! Here's a slightly polished version of your review:
If you're looking for a budget-friendly hostel with a warm and welcoming atmosphere, this is the place to be. The owner couple is incredibly friendly and makes you feel at home right away. I was greeted by a new roommate and the owner even took us on a night tour to Kinrin Lake and Floral Village, which was such a lovely surprise. The breakfast is absolutely delicious, and the couple’s romantic gesture of singing a beautiful thank-you song before you leave just adds a special touch. Their voices are stunning, and it truly makes you want to return

Very nice!位置安靜,離主幹道不遠但有一小段距離,乾淨舒適。室內外温泉非常舒服,很典型的日式園林別墅,環境極好。

GGuest UserLovely authentic Japanese house in beautiful country side.
The owner is a nice man who speaks good English and takes good care of the house.
In addition to the shared bathroom, kitchen and living room, that there are 3 rooms with futon beds, separated by a thin paper wall. Each room can host 2 to 3 guests.
If rooms are full, you can hear everything as if there was no separation. I could literally hear people whispering.
The owner offered me to use a scooter for free during my 2 days stay, which is awesome.
There are some nice hikes to do in the area. The hike along the river to the Inukai JR station 15km away was amazing (there are closer JR stations).
You'll love this place if you are looking for an authentic experience in a quiet rural setting.
CChanMayThe weather was very cold in March. There was only an air conditioner in the living room and no independent heater. It took at least four hours for the room to warm up a little. The air conditioners in the room and the living room cannot be turned on at the same time, otherwise there will be a power outage. The customer service said that the voltage is not enough. For other aspects like location, it would be more convenient to drive yourself; the indoor facilities are sufficient, including coffee machine, kettle and hot pot. Customer service is a bit difficult to communicate in English.
Rrekey_dingall very good
Environment: About 10 minutes drive from the train station, the hotel driver will pick up and drop off, the hotel environment is very quiet.
Service: The service is very good, the hotel room is 10, the service staff is both in the number of jobs, but the service is very thoughtful.
Facilities: There is a bookstore upstairs in the check in, you can order coffee, very comfortable. The room is fully equipped and there is a private soup in the room.
UUyangaThis spacious accommodation is ideal for a family getaway with several members. It was tidy and cozy, making it a pleasant place to stay with my kids. The highlight was the garden outside and the large windows that let in the morning sun, creating a lovely atmosphere for breakfast while gazing outside. Unfortunately, the hot spring was out of order when we got there, but it appeared to be large enough for two people to enjoy. I was initially concerned that the size of the apartment would make it chilly upon arrival, but the heating system was effective, and the place warmed up quickly.

The front desk lady speaks fluent English and explains in detail
The room is clean and bright, the air conditioning is cool and comfortable
Convenient transportation, JR and bus stations are not far away, it is convenient to go anywhere
There is a kitchen, you can cook by yourself
There is a supermarket next to it, you can buy ingredients
RrvolkovaWe took a room in a classic style, were very pleased! The room is clean and spacious, has its own washbasin, toilet on the floor, shower in the onsen. The location is great, right next to the embankment, bus stops and 10 minutes to the jr station. The reception staff is very nice! Thank you!
GGuest UserWe use it with family. Visited again and can enjoy the open-air bath while looking at Mount Yufu. The whole family is very satisfied. Kaiseki really sucks
