Casa Lomah Hotel
4.2/530 Reviews
The location is awesome. The hotel is more than basic, the pictures are a bit deceiving. There wasn't even space for us to put our clothes, no wardrobe nothing. Four days and our clothes had to stay in our bags or around the room. It also didn't have a good mirror, only one in the bathroom which is not convenient. The hotel is on a 4th or 3rd floor, I honestly can't remember but it was a lot of stairs, and it's inside a building that resembled a small shopping center. It's walking distance to a lot of attractions, very good location. The breakfast was good, freshly prepared for each individual. There's a very nice rooftop, don't miss it. The hotel is not quiet at all, but I guess it's because of the location, it's hard to get a good night sleep if you're easily awakened :) Upon arrival the man on the checking desk asked me to fill yet another form that had weird questions like if I liked dogs or cats and he said that I had to take a selfie! He said this was for verification reasons and that ”booking” asks him to do so, I told him I already verified my reservation and that I booked via Trip.com, he insisted at first and then when I was firm he said that it's ok and that there was no need.
Barrio Downtown Mexico City Hostel

Have had a lot of fun. Enjoy all the activities organized by the hostel. I went on 2 bike tours. Guided by Jair a super enthusiastic guide that has a lot to tell. And biking through Mexico City makes it very easy. They're not gonna have a kitchen where you can cook something in yourself.
Nima Local House Hotel & Spa
4.8/559 Reviews
Nima was truly one of the best places I've ever stayed. The house is beautiful, the breakfast and coffee were delicious. We stayed in the room on the roof which was an absolute oasis in the city. Super quiet room, very well appointed. But what makes Nima stand out the most is the service. Every one working there was so warm and friendly. They went above and beyond to make our stay special and comfortable. I highly recommend staying at Nima and will be recommending it to anyone I know planning a visit to Mexico City.
Residence l´ Heritage Hipólito Taine by BlueBay

The Hotel is very clean and well located. The employees are really nice and friendly. Security guard is at the entrance of the hotel at all time even though is a safe area. Breakfast really good and tasty 😋 ..hotel is close to the Venezuelan Embassy and to the DHL Store...Hotel is not a 5 star hotel, but it is more clean than most of these well known hotels...I was very pleased 😊
Downtown Treasure Place
4.4/5115 Reviews
It is a budget hotel. You get what you pay for if you like to travel this way. We were in a 3 bedroom suite. Not enough information about how the breakfast worked. Towels were old, Showers were horrible. Barely any hot water if 2 mins worth. Furniture very stained and place was dirty. Definitely a budget hostel. Lots of street noise. Very minimal supplies in the kitchen ie one dish cloth, no broom. We couldn’t clean the place. Although Sergio didn’t speak English he did try to communicate with us. It would have been nice to have some signage/ explanations in English. Reviews on ******* were what sold us but unless we got the substandard room, we expected a bit better. I would not stay here again.
Roomies Hostel Parque México

The kitchen is best not crowded 5-6 a stove can be used at the same time The disadvantage is that there is often no water to dry the clothes, and there is no place to wash the clothes by yourself.
Casa Pánuco

The room was very small and the bathroom was very small as I thought but the bed was comfortable.
Hotel Amigo Suites
3.8/543 Reviews
Hostel Amigo Suites is conveniently located near the zocalo/central plaza and the bus stop. Many plazas, places of interest, and restaurants are within walking distance from the hotel. We checked in late at night c/o receptionist Roberto who was very helpful with our request for a late check-out. Frontdesk is open 24 hours. Paulina helped us with our check-out and luggage storage. The receptionists were fluent in speaking English. The room itself and the beddings are comfortable. There are several surfaces to put things on, although it's not the same for points to hang clothes on. Wifi connection is fast. One opportunity area is the strong smell of paint and/or varnish all the way from the reception area and even in the room. It is inconvenient especially for someone like me who has asthma. We had to open our door all the time, to minimize the strong smell.
