Location and service was great. The only bad thing was the aircond system of the room was really bad and every night we have to make complaints to the counter to fix the aircond. Our last night was worse as the aircond totally broke down at night but front desk was really helpful to help us solve the issue. Overall experience was good still except we were unlucky to got the room with faulty aircond system

The hotel is centrally located and close to several tube stations. The room was efficient but did not feel crowded. Very clean. It had a small kitchen area tucked in near the door with sink, microwave, fridge, plates and flatware, and coffee and tea. The hotel doesn't have dining facilities or a bar, but you can give the front desk a breakfast order for the next day. My room overlooked a fairly busy street. I was impressed that I did not hear street noise in my room. Very reasonably priced. I would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful experience stayed in The Clermont London, Charing Cross. Good staffs, services, restaurants. As well as the great location, it's actually located in the best spot of London, close to the museums, subway, and train stations. Will definitely recommend people to stay here, and I'll also surely come back again.

We arrived to be greeted by service and manners from the start to the time we left. Fantastic location,beautiful lobby and eating areas.A lovely reading room where you could read newspapers and have a drink in a quiet place. The whole place was a quiet place really.The swimming pool is good plus the steam room and sauna. The food was excellent too. We went to see Back to the future musical and it was only over the road,that’s how good the location it is as well as Covent Garden being more or less over the road too. You really do feel like a film star staying there.Amazing place.

The hotel is very centralized. Walkable distance to most of the tourist attractions like Big Ben, Buckingham Palace etc. size of room is small but it's okay for a solo traveller. There is also a police station right opposite the hotel which makes you feel safer. There are also alot of restaurants and pubs around. Subways are also walkable. Definitely worth a stay.

Very central, big hotel. free coffee in.lobby. This Citadines didnt include housekeeping unless it was paid extra. There was no mention anywhere of this in hotel description during booking. I was at a Citadines 1 week before in Tokyo and there they had a choice, both free. According to London reception.desk it.was.because these are *apartments* (but so were the Tokyo ones) and they told TRIP.com didnt provide all info and they were not responsible. I was asked to leave a review on Citadines where I mentioned this issue to receive a very 'defensive' reply of reception manager after a few minutes. Its not a super big deal but the way London staff handled things is not like one would hope: very defensive and not very nice honestly.

Strand Palace London - December Stay Review I had a wonderful stay at Strand Palace in December. The single room was comfortable, offering a cozy space to relax after a day out in the city. The bathroom and shower were excellent, with Ritual brand shower gel, conditioner, shampoo, and lotion adding a luxurious touch. The room came well-equipped with thoughtful amenities like a cupboard, umbrella, locker, and was spotlessly clean. Corinthia is stunning in every moment. After searching around, this one is highly recommended by everyone! It's really amazing. After getting off the bus, the staff came over immediately to help with luggage and open the door. The first impression was perfect. Check-in at the front desk was also very fast. We arrived at the hotel after one o'clock and normally checked in at three o'clock. The room had been cleaned in advance. The staff took us into the room and introduced some specific facilities in the room. Soon the suitcases were delivered to the hotel for us. The elevator is very unique. There is a clock above to show the floor, which gives people a very different feeling. The hotel's service is meticulous. I believe that many times if you need room service, it will be a headache if you don't know clearly or there are some obstacles in communication. But here you only need to scan the code on the hotel table and you can communicate in real time directly through What's app. It's super Incredibly convenient. I asked for an ironing machine and adapter and they were delivered quickly. The hotel's slippers are also very special, very thick and feel good on the feet. The rooms are all equipped with bathtubs and heaters. It is a spa hotel after all. It is known as the best spa hotel. The spa facilities are really great. There is an elevator directly leading to the spa area on the room floor. The sauna pool and soaking pool are very comfortable. I come here every day to soak in it at night. Nine o'clock, if only it could be later. The breakfast was great, the fruit was fresh and the eggs were excellent. Of course, everything can't be perfect. There are still some small details. Most of the hotel employees are friendly and will say hello and cordial greetings when they see you. However, there are also some employees who will not say a word when they see you. Looking up and down, this makes people feel a little uncomfortable. The room we stayed in seemed to be connected to the room next door due to structural problems. We stayed for three nights. The sound from the opposite side was louder on the second night, which affected our rest. We contacted the hotel as soon as possible the next day, which was also very good. They took care of it and originally said they would change our room because we had too much luggage and really didn't want to move it. The hotel said they had communicated with the guests next door. Sure enough, the last night was very quiet and we spent it happily. The hotel also expressed its opinions. Sincerity, you can feel their attitude. All in all, it was an overall very satisfying trip. If I come to London next time, I will choose this place again.

Great experience staying at this place, easy, smooth and fuss free. The location was excellent, 5 min walk from the train and DLR stations and a short stroll to the vibrant Greenwich with all its attractions. We particularly appreciated the little kitchenette as we cook all our own meals. The bathroom was nice, spacious and warm. We had all we needed for a comfortable stay and would stay here again. Great value compared to what's available in London.

Lovely and modern inside main reception/restaurant area, but a few teething issues which will hopefully get sorted now up and running again. I was given the key to someone elses room, so walked into a room full of belongings and then the next day my key lost it's programming, so had to go back to reception yet again. Rooms aren't very sound proofed, so there was a few nights where I had people non stop walking through the corridors at gone midnight shouting and singing where likely drunk from the bar. Overall okay stay for the money though, bottles of water and a few biscuits were provided too which was a lovely touch. Bar prices very reasonable too

The TV wouldn’t work in our room and while the check in staff were very very helpful the maintenance team didn’t show up to sort it. The following day we asked to have a room change which was no problem but we were put directly over the train station. They do supply ear plugs but boy is it noisy! Rooms are clean, facilities are good, staff friendly just make sure you ask for a room the opposite side of the hotel to the train station, unless you are a train spotter!

The hotel is in a good location, the surrounding area is relatively quiet, and the combination of movement and stillness is very good! The big bed plus a sofa bed, the sofa bed is generally comfortable, but the sofa bed is very wide, and it can be opened as a double bed. The front desk service is very good, and they will greet you when you enter and leave. The restaurant service is also very good. The freshly squeezed orange juice for breakfast is good, and it costs 4 pounds per cup in the Oxford restaurant. The room is cleaned every day, and supplies for multiple people are provided. It is highly recommended. It takes 15 minutes to walk back to the hotel from the London Eye, passing by the British characteristics on the street.

On the Trip site the check in time is incorrect (ov voucher it says after 12, but it is after 14) - despite us coming too early, they gave us the room and made coffee for free. The hotel is locked over night and the staff is really friendly. We were in the hotel trought the hottest days in history but they prepared a ventilator - because they don't have AC (normally).

Stayed for 3 nights with my mum in 2 rooms, I requested side by side or same floor rooms when I made the booking 3 months ago, however they put mum on ground floor and me in the basement. My mum’s room was terrible, smelt like damp wet carpet, it was tiny, dark and had no airflow. The bathroom was oddly located outside of the room through another door. My room was opposite a large storage space and next to the breakfast room. The noise from guests in neighbouring rooms, breakfast room in the morning, staff going in and out of store room and the constant sound from underground train every few minutes was quite unbearable. Even though I booked the same room type my room was much larger and better configured than the one my mum got. The place was a maze, the room numbering made no sense and we were forever getting lost. Staff were polite but definitely not service professionals and it was obvious that none of them wanted to be there. The only plus was location location location!!

Rooms are good. Bathroom a bit small but still functional. Bus literally outside which is Amazing. Parking is safe as there is a security guard 247 and a barrier to get inside. Great reception area Downside is £15 for a useless spineless breakfast. Variety is very less and they won’t make you fresh eggs either. There response was there is no kitchen to make eggs. There is only a pre-made scrambled egg which you scoop out from the tray, makes you want to throw up looking at it. Feel like I’m eating lame plane food plus I paid £15 for it. Absolute waste of time. Take it or leave it kind of approach too. If it was £5 it would be worth it. But for £15 it’s a waste of time, money and a waste on your digestion system. Poor intestines having to go through it. How are you gonna charge £15 for a breakfast but tell me there’s no kitchen. Daylight robbery. I get better breakfasts in Third world countries, this was like peasantry behaviour. I’d rather starve. Honestly, that messed up the whole stay. Other then that great hotel.

The service was excellent - everyone was really nice and caring. The food was delicious and a very good variety was available. The location is quite good, but it is not near a tube station which means you’ll have to walk a bit or change trains quite a lot. Also, the flushing of the toilet could be better. Additionally, our room wasn’t really accessible (which wasn’t too big a problem because we didn’t need it - but with a suitcase the stairs were quite annoying).
