It is the largest hotel in the UK. It has a fully equipped kitchen. There is a Chinese super nearby. You can satisfy your Chinese stomach by buying and cooking. The special thing about this hotel is self-check-in. The landlord leaves the key in the password box at the door. Open the door and check in. Leave the key in the password box when you leave, and you don't see the waiter throughout. Very close to Cambridge University, just a few minutes walk

When I placed the order, I knew the room was very small, only 8 square meters, and I went there for its location: on the edge of the central lawn of Cambridge, close to Emmanuel College where my child applied for admission, and 3 minutes from the hotel to the main entrance of the college. I arrived at 12 o'clock in the night in the drizzle, because I didn't expect that the two building numbers were actually two small doors of the same small building. I searched for a long time before I found Building 6, which was only two meters away from Building 7. I didn't feel very good at the time. Because it was a self-service check-in, there was no one to receive me, so I couldn't complain. After entering the room, I found that there was a kitchen that was even more spacious than the bedroom, and all kinds of kitchen utensils were available. I immediately felt very happy! In the next 8 days, the small hotel became our home in Cambridge: I bought groceries and cooked every day. After walking and shopping, the kitchen became a living room, sitting down to make tea, coffee, and eat, it was very relaxing. The overall comfort far exceeded that of a five-star hotel with a room of 50 square meters. The only downside is that there are two bars downstairs, and the noise is loud every night. On weekends, there are people chatting on the benches by the lawn all night long. Fortunately, our whole family sleeps well and doesn't care too much. People who don't sleep well should think twice.

The staff were enthusiastic and had bright smiles. They arrived early in the morning when I changed hotels. The staff told me that my room had been cleaned and they immediately handed it over to me. The equipment is complete and the tableware is available. I can cook for one night. The location is good, it takes 6 minutes to get to John Lewis. I am very happy to have Smart TV, so I can watch YouTube which I usually follow. The disadvantage is that it is close to the street and it is a bit noisy downstairs.

The location is 10 minute drive from the train station. The room is clean since we can sense the smell of the disinfectant fluid. They have a restaurant that does not run after 8 pm, but the staff were kind, and we dropped our luggage here after the checkout. Since this is more like a private house, they do not have a lift.

Novotel Cambridge North

Mixed Experience – Some Great Aspects but Room for Improvement We recently stayed at the Novotel Cambridge North and had a mixed experience. The hotel has a lot going for it—modern facilities, a good location just north of the city centre, and excellent breakfast options that really stood out. The pool area is great for kids, and the sauna and jacuzzi were enjoyable touches that added value to our stay. However, there were a few letdowns. While staff were generally friendly, some follow-through was lacking—for example, we requested dressing gowns and slippers, and refills of the shower gel and shampoo which were promised but never delivered. The hotel uses a strange single-use key card system for the leisure facilities, which caused repeated issues. Cards were frequently deactivated, leaving guests locked out of the pool and gym areas. We often had to rely on others to let us in, or vice versa, which became frustrating. Also worth noting: there is no on-site parking available, which should be clearly stated in advance for future guests. Overall, the hotel offers decent value for money, especially for families, and the convenient public transport links (bus and train) make it easy to get into the city. With some improvements in service and clearer communication, this could be an excellent place to stay

Travelodge wouldn’t have been a bad memory except for TRIP that made it a horrible one for me , I definitely sure this would be my last dealing with them. Here is my ordeal with Travelodge and TRIP.com, on arriving the hotel I discovered the hotel has no air conditioning and it was terribly hot in London, I immediately notified the hotel of my intention to check out which they agreed to and are willing to give me a refund , unfortunately the TRIP customer service kept going round and round with the situation inorder for them to make me finish my stay at the hotel even with the fact that I complained it wasn’t comfortable, to be honest the hotel did their best to ensure I get my refund but trip messed everything up, there was practically nothing they didn’t do to make sure I didn’t check out even when someone from the hotel spoke with them about their willingness to give me a refund this is the hotel Ass. Manager ( Mrs Gosia) . I had a very terrible experience with trip and it is definitely going to be my last . I couldn’t sleep most of the night because of the terrible heat at night thanks to trip. 😞

The hotel is a very beautiful manor in the suburbs about 10km from Cambridge. There should be cows and sheep on the grassland in summer. I was attracted by other people's beautiful pictures when I made the reservation. After I checked in, I found it was really good, but I had to drive by myself and check in for free. The hotel was the cheapest on this trip, and the location was good. It takes nearly half an hour to walk from the train station, but it is very convenient to go to various colleges. There are many supermarkets nearby. The hotel gave me a room at the end of the corridor. The room was very large, but the window was a decorative painting. It was not a big problem to stay there for one night, after all, most hotels in the UK cannot open windows. Cambridge is crowded with tourists, and everywhere is closed to tourists. A large group of people are selling boat tickets. The boat ticket for two people is priced at 68, and it is said that you can bargain. It's outrageous! If you want to see the Bridge of Sighs, you have to take a boat. Only King's College has open grounds, and the ticket is 8 pounds. I saw the Xu Zhimo Monument.

The hotel is located in the northern part of Cambridge, about a 15-minute walk from the city centre. The facilities appear well-maintained, and the interior decoration is charming, particularly in the restaurant. However, the noise insulation is poor, and you can clearly hear footsteps and conversations in the hallway. It's unfortunate if you happen to encounter loud or inconsiderate guests, as the noise can be quite disruptive, especially late at night. If that happens, do call the front desk and they will try to intervene - but still, whether it will work highly depends on the behaviour of those guests.

Although it is a bar, it is not very noisy at night. There will be some sound of vehicles passing by the room on the side of the road, but the impact is not big. Service: The receptionist (probably the boss) is very enthusiastic and has a great attitude. He then keeps asking if you have any dissatisfaction and you can chat with him. Facilities: The room should be converted from a residential house, with only a few guest rooms. The parking space can only park two cars at the door of the room. There seems to be a parking lot (borrowed from another house); the room facilities are OK, British family style Hygiene: Hygiene is okay, I didn’t see anything bad. Environment: A bit far from the city All in all, the price/performance ratio is average. If you want to experience the local people’s hospitality, you can stay here. Parking is also convenient.

Despite the slightly tired looking exterior, this is an excellent choice if you want a hotel in Cambridge, with parking, and walking distance to the city centre. Our room was on the ground floor but facing the rear and was very peaceful. The room is quite small but everything worked, it was exceptionally clean and comfortable, and the shower water pressure was fantastic. Breakfast, included in our package, was very very good. Plenty of choice and the cooked food was served on piping hot plates. Best of all, Jackie and Jan, the two wonderful ladies who served us. Actually they did more than serve, they made our breakfast memorable and warm. I hope these two ladies are well regarded by the hotel management, as we really want to return based upon their personal and very welcoming characters. Lovely, lovely ladies. This accommodation was excellent. for us.It was situated in a tiny village with only one local pub, which was ideal for us. Cambridge is only 10miles away. The host was very friendly and welcoming. The Lodge was beautifully decorated and impeccably clean. A nice touch was a plate of fairy cakes and a jar of cookies to welcome you. There was also a jug of milk in the fridge. The bed was sublime. Extremely soft and comfortable. I normally only manage 3-4 hours sleep daily, but on our two night stay i slept right through both nights. Breakfast was a full English delivered to our door, and it was delicious. I can't recommend this place and it's host highly enough. If I'm visiting the area again Thorn House will definitely be my first choice.
