It is the largest hotel in the UK. It has a fully equipped kitchen. There is a Chinese super nearby. You can satisfy your Chinese stomach by buying and cooking. The special thing about this hotel is self-check-in. The landlord leaves the key in the password box at the door. Open the door and check in. Leave the key in the password box when you leave, and you don't see the waiter throughout. Very close to Cambridge University, just a few minutes walk

Self-catering apartment, good location, breakfast is ok. The rooms are small but adequate. Rare kitchen is relatively large and all facilities are available. One star service is for Ctrip. As a booking agent, it does not transfer the check-in guide provided by the apartment to the guests, especially without the entrance code. Thanks to the previous review that mentioned these issues, I specifically called Ctrip Customer Service in advance to ask for the check-in guide and the access code, but Ctrip Customer Service only repeated the reservation and did not provide any check-in guide and password. Helpless, I had to call the apartment's contact phone number before being informed of the entrance password and check-in precautions. Otherwise, the door cannot be entered outside in the winter with the wind blowing, why not get sick?

The hotel is located at Cambridge Railway Station. It takes less than a minute to get to the hotel after getting off the train station. If you want to take a taxi, you can go directly back to the train station and call the taxi waiting there. It is very convenient! The location is very good and the hotel is very newly decorated! The ingredients provided for breakfast are very fresh, but I feel that the cooking method still needs to be improved. Overall, the convenience is very high. I personally think it is one of the most comfortable hotels in Cambridge!

Travelodge wouldn’t have been a bad memory except for TRIP that made it a horrible one for me , I definitely sure this would be my last dealing with them. Here is my ordeal with Travelodge and TRIP.com, on arriving the hotel I discovered the hotel has no air conditioning and it was terribly hot in London, I immediately notified the hotel of my intention to check out which they agreed to and are willing to give me a refund , unfortunately the TRIP customer service kept going round and round with the situation inorder for them to make me finish my stay at the hotel even with the fact that I complained it wasn’t comfortable, to be honest the hotel did their best to ensure I get my refund but trip messed everything up, there was practically nothing they didn’t do to make sure I didn’t check out even when someone from the hotel spoke with them about their willingness to give me a refund this is the hotel Ass. Manager ( Mrs Gosia) . I had a very terrible experience with trip and it is definitely going to be my last . I couldn’t sleep most of the night because of the terrible heat at night thanks to trip. 😞

The hotel is a very beautiful manor in the suburbs about 10km from Cambridge. There should be cows and sheep on the grassland in summer. I was attracted by other people's beautiful pictures when I made the reservation. After I checked in, I found it was really good, but I had to drive by myself and check in for free. However, the noise insulation is poor, and you can clearly hear footsteps and conversations in the hallway. It's unfortunate if you happen to encounter loud or inconsiderate guests, as the noise can be quite disruptive, especially late at night. Service: The receptionist (probably the boss) is very enthusiastic and has a great attitude. He then keeps asking if you have any dissatisfaction and you can chat with him. Facilities: The room should be converted from a residential house, with only a few guest rooms. The parking space can only park two cars at the door of the room. There seems to be a parking lot (borrowed from another house); the room facilities are OK, British family style Hygiene: Hygiene is okay, I didn’t see anything bad. Despite the slightly tired looking exterior, this is an excellent choice if you want a hotel in Cambridge, with parking, and walking distance to the city centre. Our room was on the ground floor but facing the rear and was very peaceful. The room is quite small but everything worked, it was exceptionally clean and comfortable, and the shower water pressure was fantastic. Breakfast, included in our package, was very very good. Plenty of choice and the cooked food was served on piping hot plates. Best of all, Jackie and Jan, the two wonderful ladies who served us. Actually they did more than serve, they made our breakfast memorable and warm. I hope these two ladies are well regarded by the hotel management, as we really want to return based upon their personal and very welcoming characters. Lovely, lovely ladies. In case you didn’t realise, we thoroughly recommend this hotel.

The staff were enthusiastic and had bright smiles. They arrived early in the morning when I changed hotels. The staff told me that my room had been cleaned and they immediately handed it over to me. The equipment is complete and the tableware is available. I can cook for one night. The location is good, it takes 6 minutes to get to John Lewis. I am very happy to have Smart TV, so I can watch YouTube which I usually follow. The disadvantage is that it is close to the street and it is a bit noisy downstairs.

This accommodation was excellent. for us.It was situated in a tiny village with only one local pub, which was ideal for us. Cambridge is only 10miles away. The host was very friendly and welcoming. The Lodge was beautifully decorated and impeccably clean. A nice touch was a plate of fairy cakes and a jar of cookies to welcome you. There was also a jug of milk in the fridge. The bed was sublime. Extremely soft and comfortable. I normally only manage 3-4 hours sleep daily, but on our two night stay i slept right through both nights. Breakfast was a full English delivered to our door, and it was delicious. I can't recommend this place and it's host highly enough. If I'm visiting the area again Thorn House will definitely be my first choice.
