The view outside the window is beautiful and peaceful. There is a 24-hour front desk, and you can ask for more towels and toiletries if you run out. The shower room in the bathroom is too small, making it difficult to turn around. The room lighting is too dim. The soundproofing is poor, and footsteps from upstairs can be heard clearly.

I picked this hotel because of very reasonable price and convenient location. I hade a Eurostar train early in the morning and this hotel is just 10 minutes from Kings Kross and St Pancras train station The biggest issue for me that they gave me the room in the ground floor and of course no one helped with my heavy suitcase to bring in down and up with very narrow stairs The room was not I’ve book in here, it was triple, that was strange for only one person, but I needed it just to sleep so I didn’t ask for any changes

The room is old, the maintenance is OK, it is clean, there is no air conditioning, it is a bit hot during the day, breakfast seems to be early, we are almost over at nine o'clock, the location is very good, close to the train station, the British Museum. There are many restaurants nearby and it is lively at night. There is a Chongqing restaurant next to it that tastes good, but the price is a bit expensive, starting from more than 10 pounds per dish. Don't dare to do more.

The English breakfast is very rich and the location is very convenient. A few hundred meters walk is the Russell Square subway station. The interior of the room is clean and neat, the decoration is a bit exotic, and the experience is very good.

In a small hotel in central London, the rooms are not big, but they are OK, and the hygiene is not bad; the proprietress is very kind. Although it is said to be a public bathroom, my room is still a single bathroom. Generally speaking, it is not luxurious, but it is definitely not bad. Suitable for backpackers who travel to the UK alone.

This is my second time staying at this hotel. The location is convenient, the environment is good, the room facilities are clean and tidy, the area is not too small, and the breakfast is good, but it is the same every day. Cleaning needs to be requested from the front desk. I requested room cleaning three times in seven nights and changed the bed sheets once, but it was rejected because they would not change them if they were not dirty. Finally, they changed the pillowcases after insisting.

BASIC but reasonable value, ~£60 for the night. Good as place to get your head down for the night. I checked in just before midnight and had to wait for 10 mins for the receptionist to come from another property to let me in. Small room. Subtle odour like an old worn-out shoe! Otherwise, all good; you get what you pay for.

I am satisfied with the location and the modern environment of the hotel itself (not the unreasonable tiny space of a standard double room - a pot 8sqm double room), but this is the worst hotel experience my family and I have ever had. My mother is an old lady who is almost 70 years old. She fell down at the hotel entrance on the day we checked in. We noticed that the ground at the hotel entrance was designed with a ramp to facilitate access for disabled people who need to use wheelchairs, but there was a small gap and height difference between the entrance and the ramp, which caused my mother to fall very badly. We booked the pot 8sqm double room for 4 nights in this hotel, the space was really incredibly small. The only thing I could thought of was to ask the hotel whether they could upgrade us to a slightly larger room to accommodate an injured elderly person, and the hotel catered our needs. The Front Office and Operations Manager Rax explained that due to the design of the hotel, the small rooms are on the floors above the ground, whilst the large rooms are in the basement of the hotel, so the only room we can move to is located in the basement of the hote, and we could only be able to move on the second day of our stayl. Although this statement is not very reasonable, the situation in the basement is acceptable. The second unpleasant and terrifying experience was that I was taking a shower in the bathroom in the room while my mother was having coffee in the hotel lobby at night, and there was no one else in the room except me. While I was showering, the lights in the bathroom suddenly went out completely, while the water was still running normally. This was definitely the most horrible hotel experience ever. I was so flustered, trying so hard to find the water faucet in the dark and turn it off. Once I opened the glass door of the shower room, the lights came back on. I hurriedly finished my shower and went to the hotel front desk, I saw Rax and reported this issue to him. From his reaction to me when he knew about this, I didn't feel that he had any empathy or sympathy for the terrible thing I had gone through. He explained that the hotel had a new motion sensor that would cause the lights in the room to turn off if there was no movement in the room. He even argued with me that it wasn't a big deal that the light went out during the shower. I suggested that he could explain this new feature of their hotel to guests when they check in, so that if guests encounter a similar situation, at least they will feel less panicked. He told me that even if he knew it in advance, he would not feel better. I was really amazed by the responses as a Front Office and Operations Manager. On the third day of our stay, when I was putting on makeup in the room and getting ready to go out, the alarm suddenly sounded. When we were trying to calm down from the unpleasant experiences we had encountered in just two days, suddenly these things that made us irritable and uneasy happened again, which really drive us crazy. I then met the Front Office Supervisor Asher at the lobby, he tried to understand our experiences patiently, and gave apologies on behalf of the hotel. He offered us free breakfast on the forth day morning which we did not ask for. Asher also talked to me sincerely, and that he would talk to the General Manager of the hotel about our case, and let the GM to have a talk with us too. I think this is the kind of attitude and crisis handling method a hotel employee should have. Finally I want to say that although my family and I have been a member of the Marriott group for many years, we will no longer stay in any of their hotels and any type of accommodation.

Great experience staying at this place, easy, smooth and fuss free. The location was excellent, 5 min walk from the train and DLR stations and a short stroll to the vibrant Greenwich with all its attractions. We particularly appreciated the little kitchenette as we cook all our own meals. The bathroom was nice, spacious and warm. We had all we needed for a comfortable stay and would stay here again. Great value compared to what's available in London.

My recent stay at the Bexleyheath Marriott was a delightful experience. The hotel's convenient location, coupled with its modern and comfortable amenities, made it the perfect choice for my trip. One of the highlights of my stay was the incredibly comfortable queen-size bed. After a long day of exploring London, I found myself sinking into the soft, plush mattress and enjoying a restful night's sleep. The bedding was luxurious, and the room was quiet, providing the ideal environment for relaxation. Beyond the comfortable bed, the Marriott exceeded my expectations in many ways. The staff was friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any requests. The hotel's facilities were well-maintained, and the dining options were excellent. Whether you're looking for a casual meal or a more formal dining experience, the Marriott has something to offer. Overall, I highly recommend the Bexleyheath Marriott for anyone seeking a comfortable and enjoyable stay in London. The queen-size bed alone is worth the visit!

Lovely and modern inside main reception/restaurant area, but a few teething issues which will hopefully get sorted now up and running again. I was given the key to someone elses room, so walked into a room full of belongings and then the next day my key lost it's programming, so had to go back to reception yet again. Rooms aren't very sound proofed, so there was a few nights where I had people non stop walking through the corridors at gone midnight shouting and singing where likely drunk from the bar. Overall okay stay for the money though, bottles of water and a few biscuits were provided too which was a lovely touch. Bar prices very reasonable too

Terrible hotel. Checked in, got to room only to find someone else in bed. Was told by receptionist that ‘there couldn’t be’!! Stayed two nights. On both nights first two items on menu choice were unavailable. On second night third choice was Nachos. Delivered to table without chilies, sour cream or cheese. So just the tomato sauce then. Apparently the chef couldn’t find the ingredients 🤦. Upon check out charged twice on card. Asked how stay was and told. Ignored. Never stay there again.

The TV wouldn’t work in our room and while the check in staff were very very helpful the maintenance team didn’t show up to sort it. The following day we asked to have a room change which was no problem but we were put directly over the train station. They do supply ear plugs but boy is it noisy! Rooms are clean, facilities are good, staff friendly just make sure you ask for a room the opposite side of the hotel to the train station, unless you are a train spotter!

Very nice stay at the Bankside hotel though not without some difficulties. We had asked for a quiet room but were placed right next to the lift lobby and opposite the water dispenser, and with hard floors throughout the lift lobby and entrance area of the rooms this meant a LOT of noise coming in the room at all hours. In fairness, the front desk tried to find an alternative but it was not what we were looking for so we opted to stay where we were and made the best of it. Aside from this everything else about the stay was great, a really lovely modern hotel with very friendly and fun staff, great breakfast (though not cheap) and good location on the South Bank. We would definitely stay here again (though ask not to be in this room location). Special mention to breakfast staff who helped get extra fruit for our toddler and concierge who gave him Christmas gifts from the tree... lovely touches.

Everything was very good. Breakfast offers a lot of coice - except warm breakfast is only on Weekends. On the Trip site the check in time is incorrect (ov voucher it says after 12, but it is after 14) - despite us coming too early, they gave us the room and made coffee for free. The hotel is locked over night and the staff is really friendly. We were in the hotel trought the hottest days in history but they prepared a ventilator - because they don't have AC (normally).

Stayed for 3 nights with my mum in 2 rooms, I requested side by side or same floor rooms when I made the booking 3 months ago, however they put mum on ground floor and me in the basement. My mum’s room was terrible, smelt like damp wet carpet, it was tiny, dark and had no airflow. The bathroom was oddly located outside of the room through another door. My room was opposite a large storage space and next to the breakfast room. The noise from guests in neighbouring rooms, breakfast room in the morning, staff going in and out of store room and the constant sound from underground train every few minutes was quite unbearable. Even though I booked the same room type my room was much larger and better configured than the one my mum got. The place was a maze, the room numbering made no sense and we were forever getting lost. Staff were polite but definitely not service professionals and it was obvious that none of them wanted to be there. The only plus was location location location!!

My wife and I had a stay at Mimis recently, and overall, we enjoyed it and would stay there again. However, I suggest doing some research beforehand, as the rooms are quite tiny. Even though we were aware of this before arriving, we were still a bit surprised by just how small they were. Despite this, it didn't negatively impact our experience or spoil our stay. The room and bathroom was nicely decorated. I only have a few minor observations rather than complaints. Upon check-in, we requested a late check-out, but the person at the reception seemed a bit abrupt, as he did with an older couple in front of us who had questions about their room location in the annex and that they hoped to stay in the main building. The pillows provided were not very supportive, as they deflated to almost nothing. If we had stayed for more than one night and asked for extra pillows, they would have been accommodating. Regarding breakfast, we inquired about the options available and were informed that they offered coffee and pastries. Unfortunately, they couldn't provide hot food, which was a bit disappointing. It would have been nice to have the choice of continental-style breakfast with cold meats and other items; we would have been willing to pay for it as we only wanted somthing light. Despite these very small things, they did not affect our overall enjoyment of the stay. We still had a pleasant time, and we are looking forward to returning to Mimis in the future. Location is great!

Plenty of cafes and eateries nearby. The place was clean and the bed was comfy. It was just fine, nothing more than that. Reception area was nice, staff friendly but the room was bland and edging on tired. I didn't eat in the hotel. The toiletries and complimentary water was nice and the towels and shower were decent. Staff at The Waldorf are incredibly attentive to any / all needs. I asked for a later checkout and plates for food early in the morning after a night out and they accommodated that for us. The hotel is placed in a prime location, just a stones throw from Covent Garden and about 28-30 minutes walk from Regent Street. The hotel is only accessible by key card after hours; to ensure guest safety. Amenities in the room included an iron and board, kettle, drinking glasses and coffee / tea cups. The shower had fixed shampoo, conditioner and soap dispensers. The mini bar was fairly priced for central London, but hadn't been cleaned (hence the slightly lower score on cleanliness). The air conditioning dried my throat out throughout the night, but turns off automatically if the window is open, so had to deal with that / just had water next to the bed throughout the night. The downstairs bar had a great atmosphere and boasts a large menu. Great for a late nightcap. Overall the experience was great. Our Queen room cost £179.00 for the night (excluding breakfast). I was offered two forms of upgrades. A larger Queen Room with breakfast included was only an extra £40.00, and a Kings Suite with access to the executive lounge and breakfast was £80.00 extra.
