Stayed twice in a short period of time Advantages: - Central location - Large and comfortable room, air conditioning and heating are very useful, flowers, fruits, chocolates and juice are provided - My companions had difficulty walking for a few days, and the hotel also prepared a gift box with muscle relief cream, snacks and poker (?) - Friendly concierge service - Generally quiet at night, only one night I heard loud music from the street downstairs Can be improved: - Breakfast service standards are not very standardized: sometimes you have to wait for a few minutes before someone takes you to your seat, sometimes butter and jam are provided, sometimes not, and sometimes only provided when requested; the staff can't remember the room number - The room service mistakenly took our own tableware as hotel tableware and took it back, and called the next day to find it back - Two times, one of the dial phones in the room was not working, one was not connected, and the other could not make calls - The magnetic door of the bedroom makes a loud noise when opening and closing at night, and it is better to add a buffer sound insulation ***** - The laundry service is also relatively slow, and it is not returned the next day. It was returned after communicating with the front desk - The bathroom is a little cold after taking a shower - Some of the decorative paintings in one of the rooms are a little creepy

First and foremost, this hotel is in an excellent location for the Royal opera house and Covent Garden being situated by the statue of the little ballerina. The hotel is perfectly adequate and has many traditional features but bear in mind that this historic hotel can look a little shabby in places. We booked a twin room through trip.com but I had to phone the hotel to confirm they had booked us in a twin room as our receipt said it wasn’t guaranteed. The gentleman on reception was helpful, easy to understand and had a good telephone manner. When we arrived ,check in was very quick and simple and the reception team were welcoming. There is no lift in this hotel and there are three floors with many up and down levels. Our twin room had a staircase down to the tea/coffee facilities and bathroom. The room was clean and the beds small but comfortable. Pillows were a little flat. We visited in summer and there was a portable air con unit which was appreciated. TV had basic channels. There was a small selection of tea and coffee and two small bottles of complimentary still water. The bathroom was adequate with complimentary shower gel, body lotion and hand soap. The bathroom was in need of a little maintenance but the shower was hot and towels were provided. Paintwork throughout the room was shabby and the chest of drawers were flimsy. Carpets had been hoovered but there were stains and signs of ware and tear. Furniture in the room was a little tatty but it was nice to have two chairs and a side table to watch TV instead of sitting on the bed. There are plenty of plug sockets although one or two of them are broken and look a bit dangerous. There is a wardrobe with 8 hangers, a safe, a case rack and an extra blanket. There are no food facilities in the hotel but it doesn’t matter as it’s surrounded by good cafes, restaurants and other places to eat. They do sell soft drinks and crisps at a reasonable price. We travelled in from Tottenham Court Road (Elizabeth Line) which is a 10 minute walk but Covent Garden Tube station is marginally closer ( Piccadilly Line ) I would recommend this hotel based on location and if you want to try a traditional boutique hotel but if you like your luxuries I would probably give it a miss.

The surrounding area is quite lively, and you can reach Mayfair a little further west, where you can find galleries and luxury goods. The facilities are also good, the service is attentive, and it is cleaned every day. Breakfast is not bad, but only English style.

Great experience staying at this place, easy, smooth and fuss free. The location was excellent, 5 min walk from the train and DLR stations and a short stroll to the vibrant Greenwich with all its attractions. We particularly appreciated the little kitchenette as we cook all our own meals. The bathroom was nice, spacious and warm. We had all we needed for a comfortable stay and would stay here again. Great value compared to what's available in London.

The bed in the twin room of this hotel is very big, and three suitcases can be opened side by side, which is beyond my expectation. Before coming here, I read the reviews that London hotels are small and similar to those in Japan, but much bigger than Japan. The guy at the front desk was very nice. He asked several times if I had allergies. I didn't understand at first, but he was very patient. It turned out that he gave us cookies. The cookies were so delicious! The breakfast is also OK. It is only a few minutes' walk from the Natural History Museum and V&A. There is also a Chinese restaurant nearby, Shanghai No. 10, which saved my Chinese stomach. Recommended!

The hotel opened in 2018 and is very well maintained. The breakfast is remarkable and the bedroom is also very large, the largest area encountered on this trip. It is about a 5-minute walk from Blackfriars Station (cross the bridge). There are other bus and subway lines around, and it is very close to the supermarket. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to Big Ben. Slippers are provided in the room, and toothbrushes need to be asked for when checking in. Let's talk about the shortcomings 1️⃣ After finding that the room was given on the first floor, I asked to change to another floor. The front desk said that there were only five floors in total and that it could not be changed (but the occupancy rate during the actual stay was not high) 2️⃣ The room service speed is relatively slow.

Everything was very good. Breakfast offers a lot of coice - except warm breakfast is only on Weekends. On the Trip site the check in time is incorrect (ov voucher it says after 12, but it is after 14) - despite us coming too early, they gave us the room and made coffee for free. The hotel is locked over night and the staff is really friendly. We were in the hotel trought the hottest days in history but they prepared a ventilator - because they don't have AC (normally).

Accommodation is close to places to eat such as the KFC Burger King Nando. Tesco Lotus Express is open 24 hours. Anyone traveling by subway is convenient. Not far from the accommodation, large room with a double bed, but the disadvantage is that there is no water provided. And change the sheets every 2 days. We stay 5 nights, change just 2 times but rearrange the bed every day. Overall, very satisfied. Lovely staff Very informative and helpful, very impressed. If there is a chance, I will go back to stay again. Also nearby is Harrods, just 25 minutes walk. For those who like to walk, can walk straight away.

Excellent Stay at Hilton Olympia London – Highly Recommended! I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hilton Olympia London, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. Check-in was smooth and efficient, and the front desk team went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable. . Rooms & Comfort: My room was spotlessly clean, well-appointed, and spacious. The bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep, and the amenities, including a well-stocked minibar, tea/coffee facilities, ensuring a peaceful stay. Breakfast Experience: Breakfast had a fantastic selection, from fresh pastries to hot, made-to-order options. A grâce from Sam Overall Experience: Hilton Olympia London combines elegance, comfort, and excellent service, making it a fantastic choice for leisure travelers. Staff at The Waldorf are incredibly attentive to any / all needs. I asked for a later checkout and plates for food early in the morning after a night out and they accommodated that for us. The hotel is placed in a prime location, just a stones throw from Covent Garden and about 28-30 minutes walk from Regent Street. The hotel is only accessible by key card after hours; to ensure guest safety. Amenities in the room included an iron and board, kettle, drinking glasses and coffee / tea cups. The shower had fixed shampoo, conditioner and soap dispensers. The mini bar was fairly priced for central London, but hadn't been cleaned (hence the slightly lower score on cleanliness). The air conditioning dried my throat out throughout the night, but turns off automatically if the window is open, so had to deal with that / just had water next to the bed throughout the night. The downstairs bar had a great a**osphere and boasts a large menu. Great for a late nightcap. Overall the experience was great. Our Queen room cost £179.00 for the night (excluding breakfast). I was offered two forms of upgrades. A larger Queen Room with breakfast included was only an extra £40.00, and a Kings Suite with access to the executive lounge and breakfast was £80.00 extra.
