The breakfast is very good. The room and bed are too small. This hotel is fast and there is no waiter at night. Only the waiter from the restaurant came to receive. Because I want an extra bed with my child, I can't add it without a waiter. The waiter said that extra beds must be emailed in advance.

A very pleasant stay in a clean room with decent amenities. The bed was comfy and I didn’t hear noise from other guests, it was good to have blackout blinds too. The location was perfect for my conference and walking distance to the city centre (about 15 mins). The breakfast is decent and there are snacks and drinks available as well.

A very central location, with superb breakfast. We stayed at the heart of Birmingham city, with designated hotel parking lots at the basement (you have to pay extra for parking but £13 overnight is good enough). Free coffee and hot chocolate at the lobby. Room is comfortable and of good size. Interestingly, the bathroom door serves its dual role of both the bathroom’s and the toilet’s door. Breakfast was fantastic with ingredients to make a full English breakfast (minus the black pudding). Recommend this place if you want to be close to bustling heart of the city center.

The hotel is centrally located in the city centre about 20 mins walk from the New Street railway station. Just next to Chinatown and the famous open and indoor market in Birmingham. The coach station is just 5 mins walk from the hotel. The kitchen and all the facilities in the room is good. All the staff are friendly, polite and helpful. My microwave was out of order one day and they replaced it in just 5 mins time. Really excellent and will definitely come back again.

I would stay here again! I loved the location of the hotel. It is right inbetween the city center (New Street Station & Bullring) and the beautiful Brindley Place are by the old canal. The room itself was clean and looked mostly like it was in the picture, I also had a pretty cool view onto the old canal from the 15th floor. The carpet and the couch looked a bit ”worn down”, but it was clean nonetheless. The staff was friendly, nice and very helpful. It was nice that the breakfast was included and there was a good choice of breakfast options. I can 100% recommend this hotel when staying in Birmingham. I had a nice time and didn't miss anything while staying at the Holiday Inn Express.

The toilet is not very sanitary and cannot get in water in the bathroom You have to use a floor mop to push the water back and it takes at least an hour to get the water. I stayed for two nights, but on the first night I found two towels that were quite dirty, so I called them. I asked for two relatively clean towels, but after waiting for 40 minutes, no one changed them, so I took them myself. The staff who answered the phone should have forgotten. Maybe they forgot all the guests' problems while chatting!

Though an old hotel ,refurbishment is continuing from 2024. Hence, good rate for rooms. Conveniently situated in New Street close to McDonald's, Boots, poundland,Odean cinema,tram,Hair dressers/ Barbers Close to shops and train stations in the city centre. Spacious warm rooms. Very clean .Very helpful staff and housekeeping. Would highly recommend staying here if you want a cheap stay in a great hotel. I kept extending my stay in same room. They should have Do Not disturb signs - then if staying over in the sane room can put a sign on the door or ask for a top-up using another sign on the outside of the door handle. Was annoyed on one occasion as I had cramps in both legs and booked to stay in sane room on the phone. Then spoke to a man(asian) at reception . He refused my request to get me new key and demanded I came down to reception to swop keys- which could have been done later. Said I had to do for 10am - which was silly as that's not what other hotels do( as they know you booked to stay another night and swop keys later. Plus, it's not empathetic to my predicament - 70 years old. Diabetic. On a previous occasion kettle was very dirty inside- but had to go to reception to swop- no staff to come to room to do that.

When we entered the room, there was an armchair with a base for our child. Hotel location is good, but no Novotel is close to the airport. Novotel is walking at the door of the airport glass door for a minute. This hotel is to take the airport light rail for three minutes, then get off the train for ten minutes to walk through the exhibition hall. The exhibition hall is about five minutes walk. Remember that the hotel entrance is at the pizza shop. After entering the door, the elevator is on the second floor. It is the lobby, don't go wrong or circle. The breakfast is very suitable for the Chinese stomach, and the variety is very rich. I live here because I want to participate in the cake show every November. The picture is that it is convenient to go to the exhibition hall without going too far, otherwise the mobile phone is tired. Actually, it is also very tired, stop and go all the way. The hotel is actually a Shanghai-like Heshenghui, a big shopping mall. The hotel reception is in the corner of the second floor of the shopping mall. There are not many stores in the mall, the British consumption is not high in the country, and there is a little bit of Colombia in the north. It feels high consumption. There are very few other shops. There is a coffee shop costa in the mall. You can buy a sandwich clerk to help you heat up. The huge sandwich is delicious. There is a specialty store in the Swiss Lotus chocolate, and it is more cost-effective to sell chocolate. Finally, the check-out of this hotel is not to check the room, the room card can go directly to the front desk.

It wasn't our first visit to a hotel from a Malmaison chain and safe to say the experience didn't disappoint. The hotel is positioned very centrally and everything you need is at most 10 minutes walk away. Unlike other Malmaison hotels we have visited this one also offers spa and gym facilities which are open for the hotel guests and although we haven't had a chance to make use of them they did look nice and we will make sure to book a much longer stay to enjoy these facilities in the future. Breakfast as always didn't disappoint and is highly recommended. Same goes to the bar area which is very nicely design allowing the guests to enjoy a nice drink in the evening.
