The location of the hotel is very close to the bank subway station, and it is convenient to travel. The surrounding supermarkets, bars, Chinese restaurants, and pharmacies are very complete. The lobby of the hotel is gorgeously decorated, and the hotel was remodeled from the former headquarters building of the Bank of London. The front desk service is good, but the breakfast restaurant service is extremely poor! After ordering breakfast on the first day, it was delayed. After waiting for nearly an hour, when I asked the waiter, he said that the customer hadn't ordered yet? ! Go to breakfast at 10 o'clock on the fourth day, and it is said that it is closed after time! When checking in, the time told by the front desk is 10:30! It's inexplicable! ! !

The hotel has a history of hundreds of years. The door is very small and it is easy to walk by accidentally, so that every time you go back to the neighborhood, you have to look at it. There are stairs and elevators (the elevator is so narrow that it can accommodate two adults and two large luggage). But none of these things affect my quality experience. First of all, the reception was very enthusiastic. Although English was like white paper, I couldn't understand what she was saying, but I still felt her thoughtful and meticulous care and warm attitude. The facilities in the hotel from the inside to the outside did not have a sense of centuries-old. Retained some hundred years of temperament, but the internal facilities are very modern, especially the bathroom, simple and clean, enough to meet my needs for the bathroom. Especially worth mentioning is that coffee, tea bags, biscuits, chocolates in the room are provided every day. Water and bubble water can be free and unlimited. The day before, we also bought water in the supermarket to take it back. Although it is less than 1 pound, if you need to buy it back every day, It's also very troublesome and expensive. In particular, I am a big water drinker 😂 The Nestle capsule coffee machine in the room is easy to use. It makes me want to buy a thought to bring it back for the first time. The hotel is located in the financial street. It is very convenient to go anywhere. The bus bus and subway station are close at hand. It is still very convenient to go back to the hotel to rest when you are tired. By the way, this trip to London has a much better experience of the bus than the subway. In short, the hotel likes it very much. If you have the opportunity, you will stay again. I am willing to recommend it to my friends.

Very nice hotel and amazing location. Nice shops and tesco market near the hotel, about a 3 minutes walk. The nearest underground stations are monument and bank. The employees are very cooperative and helpful. There is complementary coffee and water in the lobby which is wonderful and a time saver. Room and bathroom are clean, bed is comfy. As for the facilities, unfortunately there wasn’t a safe box in the room but you can get a safe box in the lobby which both you and the staff have keys to, both keys have to be present to open the safe box. And one of the rooms that we booked didn’t have a fridge which we didn’t mind at all. In regards to the quietness, we can slightly hear the doors opening from the rooms near us. Over all I would rate the hotel 9/10. Thanks to ismail and parshant .

Location was excellent just a 3 minute walk from where the Burns Night Supper was being held in Threadneedle Street. The cabbie at Euston hadn’t heard of the hotel nor had several of his mates he phoned on the way. By the way it cost me £25 in a black cab from Euston station. Approx 30 mins. I was in room G1. Just off the reception on the ground floor. It was a very small double with the window directly onto the street. It was pretty noisy. The wardrobe didn’t have a full length drop as there was a fridge in there so I couldn’t hang my dress or my coat. The air con didn’t work. I asked the chap on reception who tried without success instead suggesting I used the fan in the room. I did for a bit but it was too noisy and you can’t get to the window to open it. I imagine it would be very hot in the summer. There is construction work just outside which started around 7am. The bathroom was clean and compact. I would say it suitable for a single occupancy only as one side of the bed was up against the window. Check in was straightforward note that you need to show photo ID. The main reason for the low score was the scuttling noises I could hear in the walls which I am pretty sure was vermin, I definitely wouldn’t recommend the room I was in. Perhaps the rooms on higher floors were better. Location wise for me was very good. It’s a no frills option but for the price you pay was pretty reasonable for London.

We selected the Apex London Wall Hotel because of its close location to Barbican where our daughter started to study and we liked the entire City area. The staff of the hotel was very attentive, breakfast and all meals in the restaurant we ate from time to time were very tasteful. The room was always clean and the quality of the beds was very good. We will for sure return to this hotel during our future trips.

This time I came to London and stayed at the Magnificent, the Fragmented Shangri-La, the Horse Guards and the Bulgari. The rooms in this 1,500-pound hotel had no highlights at all. I really felt like I was paying an IQ tax! Moreover, the air conditioner was very noisy, there was dust on the table, and even the pens had no refills. Several others have their own characteristics. Bulgari is not recommended.

Stayed here last night with my son, we were at the stadium for a concert. This place is literally a walk down the hill to the stadium so perfect location. I couldn’t fault it really, it is a pub with rooms above- not a fancy hotel. I feel other reviews are very unfair… We paid 1/4 of the price to other places at Wembley. Our room was spotlessly clean with super comfy beds. would definitely book again!

We had to leave very unexpectedly, but did find the hotel a little run down looking from the outside. We had arrived early and the room was ready, but we could only check in early for an extra charge which we declined, as we were going out anyway so just left our bags in the car. The room was supposed to be an executive room however, it was like any other room we had ever stayed in so don’t know what was executive about it. Tea tray was a bit stingy with 1 packet of biscuits between 2 of us (1 biscuit each). Only 4 milk cartons, but plenty of tea and coffee sachets. The bathroom had nice shower gel and lotion supplied with plenty of towels but, also had blue insulation tape on the radiator and the ceiling above the bath was peeling it all looked a little tired. The room was clean and perfectly comfortable, but definitely lacked that added luxury that I thought we had upgraded to with executive. Maybe that was my own fault not checking exactly what the difference was between normal and executive aside from the price. Sadly, our trip was cut short with an emergency, so we never got to stay overnight or sample the breakfast.

I lived in this hotel for the first time in the UK. The experience was very good at the time, the hotel is in a good location and cost-effective, so I thought I would choose to stay here afterwards. I wanted to book a room in advance for the second time this time, but chose a lot of dates without a room. Later only accessible rooms were available. Think about staying alive for two nights. Because one of them happens to be a New Year's Eve, it goes without saying that the price is not cost-effective. The room I gave was facing the street, and I didn't sleep well after a night of noisy. And this time the service attitude was very average. Retaining luggage is also reluctant. The front desk was also lazy. In short, I won't come next time. In the end, a penny is a penny, and a willingness to spend money on Mayfair's Marriott.

Staff were amazing and attentive when issues arose. Booked the king size room which was large and spacious but that’s where the good parts end. - Air Condition did not work (Told reception when we got in at night and was given a fan) - Mini fridge did not work, so gave the food we bought to amazing receptionist - lamp in the corner was not plugged in, had to move the table from the wall to switch it on. - Bathroom wasn’t wiped down properly so you could see the residue of the last guests. Besides the amazing staff who helped and gave good local recommendations for bars and restaurants the quality of the hotel was lacking. Would not be staying again.

The only issues were the missing table as shown in the photos for Family Room and the hotel only use bathroom curtains instead of glass, which was weird aesthetically given how nicely furnished the rest of the room is. Very nice stay at the Bankside hotel though not without some difficulties. We had asked for a quiet room but were placed right next to the lift lobby and opposite the water dispenser, and with hard floors throughout the lift lobby and entrance area of the rooms this meant a LOT of noise coming in the room at all hours. In fairness, the front desk tried to find an alternative but it was not what we were looking for so we opted to stay where we were and made the best of it. Aside from this everything else about the stay was great, a really lovely modern hotel with very friendly and fun staff, great breakfast (though not cheap) and good location on the South Bank. We would definitely stay here again (though ask not to be in this room location). Special mention to breakfast staff who helped get extra fruit for our toddler and concierge who gave him Christmas gifts from the tree... lovely touches.

Where to start...first impressions were not good at all. We stayed on Wednesday 11th November. We were locked out, despite staff knowing we would be arriving late (we arrived at 23:15). We tried for 15 minutes, in the pouring rain to get in, we called and called and called..no answer and then the door miraculously opened as if by magic. We got to reception to be greeted by the most miserable person we have ever met. No apology, no hello, no nothing just ”gotta reservation?”..as someone who runs a 4 star hotel this guy wouldn't have a job, how he (Asian, 5ft 10ish, black jumper) actually HAS a job I'll never know all I can think is nepotism. I realise we are in London, the land of no manners but we expected more from a 4 star hotel. Anyway, our room was ok, no toiletries, only 1 set of towels (Covid? Who knows), poor tv channels and a non working remote due to our 'Mr. Miserable' host we didn't want to complain incase we made him cry. Nice pillows in the room, I like firm pillows. Breakfast was nice considering and the server Faruk/Faruq was lovely. An asset and a saving grace to our trip, helpful, friendly, welcoming, couldn't do enough for us maybe he could train Mr. Miserable in how to be nice. Our check out was smooth our receptionist asked how our stay was honestly we couldn't be bothered to tell her about our check in and bet she wouldn't have done anything anyway. All in all we wouldn't stay in a holiday Inn again, we have had better service in an Ibis.

Double check when booking about breakfast being included in your rate and be aware it is a simple boxed 'continental' breakfast; Parking, though advertised is not free - from £10 per night, again check when booking and spaces are limited. I have spent 40 years traveling the world and I have stayed in the smallest hotels that Japan has to offer including capsule hotels. Hotel Mimi beats them all - the room I stayed in was small, really small with no window. But it was great! - I knew what I was letting myself in for but I knew all I wanted was a comfortable bed and somewhere to wash and the room excelled at both of these things. Beautiful marble bathroom with Molton Brown soaps and shampoos. Now, if you ask if it was worth the nearly £200 I paid the answer is no - but this is London and thats what you have to pay. I stay with the IHG group every week and one hotel stay rolls into another. However tonight's stay deserves a positive review thanks to young man on reception called Joshua. I arrived at the hotel extremely early, just after 14:00 and understandly my room was not yet ready. Joshua gave me a drinks voucher and set me up in the downstairs bar / restaurant. It's comfy and quiet down there and I was able to get on with some work. Once my room was ready I discovered that I had been upgraded which was a pleasant surprise. Then later in the evening Joshua was kind enough to bring me up a fan along with a key that allowed him to open the windows. So often you're just another number, but not tonight. Joshua was friendly, knowledgeable, professional and polite. I will use this hotel as often as possible and recommend it to others.

While I did not have high expectations for this hotel given its price point and location, I anticipated basic comfort which. The majority of the room's amenities were outdated, yet still within an acceptable standard for me. However, the air conditioning system was disappointingly inadequate; it failed to produce heat and emitted only cold air. Despite the staff promptly providing an electric heater when alerted to this issue, the room remained uncomfortably cold. The most disconcerting part of my stay was the condition of the bedding. The filler in the duvet had clumped together, as evidenced by the attached photo, likely due to improper washing. This left me with little more than two thin sheets in zero-degree weather, with a non-functional heating system. To find some warmth, I resorted to wearing additional clothes and draping my down jacket over the duvet—a far cry from a comfortable night's sleep. I must commend the hotel staff, who were excellent throughout this ordeal. Their service was the only warm aspect of my stay.
