The view on Lake Toya from the hotel was spectacular. We were lucky to have witnessed the cloud sea and sunrise. From the other angle, we could see the full view of Mt Yotei, also known as Hokkaido Fuji. There are few restaurants in the hotel, including the Japanese, Chinese, French, and the Italian. There was also good onsen in the hotel, both idoor and outdoor. We will definitely come back to stay again in the future.

There are a lot of negative reviews online. I was a little worried before checking in. Let’s talk about the real check-in experience. We booked the most basic double room, which is designed to be very warm and comfortable. Although it is not big, it is fully equipped with a refrigerator, washing machine, dishwasher, induction cooker, range hood, and even pots and pans, which is very convenient. The hotel was newly opened in December, so I was worried about the smell, but the hotel thoughtfully prepared an air purifier, and there was basically no smell. The room has a small balcony, directly facing the ski lift, and you can even see Mount Yotei on a clear day. There is also a public hot spring bath on the L floor of the hotel. It is very comfortable to take a dip after skiing during the day. The toiletries are also Aesop and Dyson hair dryers. There is also a paid private hot spring facing Mt. Yotei. The weather was not good for a few days, so I didn’t experience it. I saw the photos online and they are very impressive. Breakfast: Semi-buffet style, choose a main dish + buffet. There are not many dishes and they are not updated every day. It is slightly inferior. In terms of service, the hotel provides free pick-up and drop-off services from nearby stations for check-in and check-out. You need to send an email to the hotel in advance to make a reservation. Free pick-up and drop-off is also provided within the town of Hirafu during your stay. Basically, it is Alpha pick-up, which is a plus. ski: It is right next to the ski resort, and it is very convenient to slide in and out. There is a ski equipment hall on the first floor, and each room is equipped with a ski storage cabinet. There is also a ski equipment rental service and a ski school.

It is a good choice to choose Sansui Hotel for skiing in Niseko. You can enter and exit the hotel, which is very friendly to skiing. You can also buy ski tickets on the -1 floor. The only downside is that it is not very friendly to guests without a car. The daily shuttle bus has been booked. You need to walk to the town to eat at the restaurant. It is recommended that the hotel can add a shuttle bus. It is very hard to walk up and down the hillside, especially when it is several degrees below zero outside. During the New Year, this price of nearly 20,000 per night should add more services. It is recommended to increase the variety of breakfast

GGuest User 2024.04.16
I would like to share a few words with you about our feeling of coming back to your Park Hyatt Hanazono hotel from 29/3/2024 to 3/4/2024. We are beginners of skiing, therefore, our first choice is a ski-in and ski-out hotel. Therefore, last year we came to your hotel and we came back again for further improvement of our skiing. We travelled a long way from the airport to your hotel for almost over 3 hours. However, we didn't receive a warm welcome from your hotel by the time we got out of our car. By the time we checked-in, the handling time took much longer than I expected, maybe we all felt tired after long travelling and wanted to go up to our room. Another guest who was sitting next to me seemed to complain about your service to another staff.. When we arrived at our room, only 3 mandarins were put on the table to welcome us but they did not look very attractive. Next morning, the breakfast was as good as last year, because nothing more had changed. But again, not very welcoming. Our dishes were piling up on the table long before they were taken away. That was not the case last year. We asked guest service to fold up the sofa bed as we wanted it to be more spacious. However, I called several to get it done when we came back from skiing in the evening. But we clearly said we could do it when we were out in the daytime. We booked 2 adults and 1 child, however, we could only find 3 adult clothes for onsen. We called guest service to provide us with child cloth for onsen. However, after tidying up, they provided us with another 3 sets of clothes for onsen again. So, my daughter wore oversized clothes to the onsen. It was not like this when we first came here last year. Luckily, on the third day, we met a new and young manager during breakfast, we received a warm welcoming smile for the first time. We chatted for a while and my daughter felt happy with him. Last year, my daughter made some friends here with your staff and learnt some Japanese from your staff. That made her like the Japanese culture and language. Ironically, after folding up the sofa bed, they mistakenly mixed up my daughter white colored soft toy - cinnamoroll - with the bed sheets for the laundry. Luckily, maybe with the help of the young guy, we found it back. My daughter was so delighted, thanks for all your efforts, but however, the soft toy had been shrunk by the laundry machine. The inner tubing was one of our favors in Park Hyatt Hotel, however, it looked obscenity and did not match with the natural scenery and the well-designed architecture surroundings at all. It looked like a facility in a developing country. Next Easter holiday was a late holiday, maybe no more snow for skiing. Originally we had planned to come again with whole families of six for skiing. Maybe it is high time for us to look for another ski-in ski-out hotel, though I have promised the young guy to meet him next year.

It’s was a wonderful time visiting Rusutsu. The Westin Hotel was a great accommodation for short, medium, and long vacations. Fortunately, staffs were professional and they always had service mind. I got helped from one staff changed a wrong ski-pass to a new correct one. I stayed only for 3 days and felt so comfy. Thank you.

I highly recommend this hotel if you plan to stay at Lake Toya. This time, we had the opportunity to view fireworks from behind the hotel. The hotel has two onsen, which alternate daily; one is on the ground floor, and the other faces Lake Toya. The breakfasts and dinners are amazing, but for the dinner buffet, it's best to book an early time slot, as they reduce the food replenishment after 8 pm.

Excellent location with amazing view. I must say we were very lucky on our last day two of the staff member are going above and beyond to assist us to change our shuttle bus from Lake Toya to Sapporo instead of going to the airport. The two staff on our last day was super helpful they call the shuttle bus company straight away to check and not just checking the paper . ( As we have been checking 2 days in the row with other staff member but all they did was checking the paper or system) I can clearly see the difference whether the staff willing to help or not, so we were very lucky to meet the 2 senior staff on our last day in the morning who quickly fix for us. Thank you so much!! Hotel can all be the same but it depends which staff member who are willing to go above and beyond which makes a huge difference to their customer.

Great with most amenities at door step from ski rental to locker room. Really convenient. For some reason they don’t make the bed every day and only took out the rubbish and provide fresh towels. They also have luggage storage if required. Room is relatively small for family but not too bad.

GGuest UserThis is a family trip for two adults and two kids. And we stayed in the hotel for 7 nights, bfast and dinner included. It's apparent in the booking that we will have kids in the stay, and yet either Trip.com/hotel charged us meals for 4 adults for the entire trip. We ended up overpaying A LOT and wasting A LOT of food because the kids couldn't finish the set meal. Yet the hotel refused to adjust / refund. This was a serious mistake made by Trip.com / hotel. The hotel provided shuttle bus to the ski resort. Good that there was early shuttle bus around 815am BUT the return shuttle was way too early (4pm) for any serious skiers. The hotel should offer more options. There was no gym in the hotel and difficult to do some proper full-body exercise. Onsen set up was nice and clean and tidy. The public onsen wasn't used much so it ended up a big private onsen for us. We like the traditional Japanese cusine but very disappointed that the chef provided limited changes on the menu during our 7 nights of stay. We spent roughly same number of nights elsewhere in Niseko and the design of their menu was way better. Staff in general was very helpful and friendly and some of them spoke English and Chinese. The hotel was short of staff IMO. I could see them running around in the hotel. The ski equipment room could be equipped with better facility to dry ski boots and gloves. Shuttle bus was only offered to Niseko but not Kutchan station which was in fact not too far away anyway. The room was clean and well maintained. The location of the hotel was great too. It's 10mins from the Niseko station and 5mins from annupuri ski run.

GGuest UserThe service was top ! We are extremely satisfied with the Vale this hotel. The room was spacious and had a pleasant surprise with its large floor-to-ceiling windows offering a wide and high view that allowed us to enjoy a snowscape. The facilities in the room are also very comprehensive, including a kitchen, a washer, and a dryer, which we are very satisfied with. Patricia (sweet smiling lady) knew that there were three of us and prepared an extra third chair so that we could all sit together to eat.  Melanie and Liam provided impeccable service. Despite the booking only two nights at The Vale, and we needed to move to Rusutsu resort ( no available in the Vale for the rest of our holiday) they assisted us to deliver our 7 luggage’s to Rusutsu resort(that hotel service is very so so) This led us to The Rusutsu Resort hotel where our luggage was handled very well. Despite the extremely cold , Melanie and Liam were there to help us load our luggage onto the car, and Liam ensured that our belongings were safely delivered to the other Resort.  Honestly , the price in the Vale is value for money for this truly wonderful experience. Rusutsu Resort hotel is overpriced with the such quality service . Thank you again Patricia, Melanie and Liam

SSalamiyeahI recently had the pleasure of staying at INTUITION NISEKO during my trip to Niseko, and I can’t recommend it enough! The hotel is absolutely stunning, with beautiful architecture and breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. From the moment I arrived, the service was exceptional. The staff were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. Whether it was help with my luggage or in-room facilities , they made me feel truly valued as a guest. The accommodations were spacious, clean, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Especially the sofa, I even asked for the brand name that I would like to buy a same one for my home. Super thanks to Dorothy for the info she provided! Moreover, I loved waking up to the serene snowy landscape outside my window! If you're looking for a fantastic place to stay in Niseko, INTUITION is the perfect choice. I can’t wait to return!

GGuest User1. Transportation to the hotel, attached is the route map to the hotel. Take the white bus from New Chitose Airport (domestic arrival point) (need to buy tickets on the website in advance) for about 2 hours, rest for 10 minutes on the way to Hirafu Welcome Center, then take the free bus (free bus will stop at every hotel, about 5 stops, all on the way) to HANAZONO and get off. The hotel is right next to it (free bus runs every 20 minutes, every 8, such as 12:08, 12:28, 12:48). Transportation is still very convenient. There are paid buses from the hotel to New Chitose Airport. 2. The hotel is newly opened, very new, the room has no odor, the decoration style is simple, stylish and intelligent. 3. The room is equipped with a coffee machine. It is very comfortable to sit in the room and look at the scenery outside the window and drink coffee. There are many varieties of tea. Purified water and ice cubes are available in the corridor of the room. 4. The hotel has a restaurant and bar connected together. The breakfast is fresh, and the Hokkaido corn soup, fish roe rice, and curry rice are really delicious. It would be better to add a Japanese restaurant for dinner. It is unbearable to eat buffet every day. Next door is the Park Hyatt Hotel, which has 5 restaurants, but you have to make reservations in advance with a credit card, otherwise you will not be able to have a big meal. You can also take the free bus to eat at restaurants outside. The ski center near the hotel also has a restaurant with simple meals, coffee, red wine, and is open until 19:00 in the evening. 5. The hotel has a free ski equipment management center, which is skiing in and out of the hotel. There is a niss snowsports school at 308 next to it. There are ski coaches from all over the world, and children can be completely handed over to the coaches. Adults and children ski separately. The ski resort is suitable for beginners, intermediate and advanced players. The overall skiing atmosphere is very good. 6. The hotel has a canteen where you can buy some snacks, instant noodles and the like. Anyway, I will go there next year.

LLeong FamilyThe staff are not knowledgeable on 3rd party ski hire or ski school. We returned the equipment 1 day earlier and the staff said ok and asked if we are fine with 50% refund. We said yes. The next day they said they never said this.....no English, and don't ask questions, they will not be able to answer. They are well mannered and kind, just no direction and very messy. Bus schedule is also confusing, staff are not clear and busses don't often come without calling and reminding. They say it is due to weather condition, but it wasn't. You need to book set menu dinners at their one and only restaurant, 3 days in advance. We missed the Christmas set dinner, and even though on the phone to reserve the table, we asked for set menu, they didn't decline and they didn't say we needed 3 day advance notice. So we went and ordered small alacarte meals. Small dishes but were absolutely delicious. Hot Spring facility is excellent. Rooms are clean and the layout is fantastic. They have a washing machine that dries as well. Bring your own laundry detergent But I must give 100% credit to them as we left our bag at the lobby and they arranged to send it to Tokyo for us and called the receiving hotel as well,.

HHei LamGreat position just in front of the lake. You can see the lake from the onzen. Onzen is great with a few of people. The two original rooms arranged to us were not clean. One with blood stain on toilet bowl, another one with blood stained on sofa. Yet, staff arranged new rooms for us on another floor. The view is great if you choose lake view room. Buffet was okay with a wide range of food. The tables were low just like desks for kids at school. There were a lot of noisy tourisits during meals. Very disturbing.

Bbunny1227The restaurant on the fifth floor overlooks the outdoor mixed bathing hot spring pool, and the breakfast is of high quality. The room is clean and comfortable with a large heater. There are ample parking spaces in the two parking lots. There is also a hot spring outlet next to the second parking lot opposite. Many locals come to collect water and take it back for drinking. Yukata for mixed bathing can be picked up at the front desk at any time, and swimsuits are not allowed to enter. There is a small supermarket, capsule toy machine, and coin lockers in the lobby.

AAnonymous UserTake a bus from the Donan bus stop at the right entrance of Toya JR Station for 15-20 minutes, get off at Toyako Onsen Station, and walk for 2-3 minutes to the hotel. The facilities are relatively old, but the open-air hot spring on the first floor is pretty good (there are also indoor ones). Remember to bring a bath towel from the room when you take a hot spring bath. There is no mineral water, so you can drink directly from the tap in the room. There is a kettle and a refrigerator. Most of the small restaurants on the street open at 11am and close at 7pm. Therefore, most restaurants are run by elderly people who prepare food and slowly serve tourists. Breakfast at the hotel is from 7:30am to 9am, and many hotels in Japan check out at 10am. The hot spring tax is 150 yen per person. If you want to go shopping after checking out of the hotel and leave in the afternoon, the hotel can store your belongings for free until 12am on the same day, and 500 yen per item will be charged for more than one minute. It is better to store your belongings at the nearby Toyako Onsen Station, which costs 300 yen until 9pm (you can put down a large box or two small boxes). If your box is full, you can also ask the staff at the bus station information office to pay for storage, and they also have umbrellas to lend to tourists for free. More warm than hotel service
