Luxx Aparts
"Great hostel with everything you need for a comfortable stay: kitchen, dining area, co-working space, etc. Though when it's fully booked, there might not be enough space in the kitchen and dining area, but that's not a big deal. The hostel itself has a cozy atmosphere and is clean everywhere. I liked the location, near Lake Sairan, where you can take a stroll."
Renion Park Hotel ★★★★
Panfilov Park and 6 minutes from the Almaty Cathedral, as well as 800 metres from the Green Bazaar. Guests can enjoy an indoor pool, concierge service, a hair salon, a restaurant, and a complimentary buffet breakfast.
Hotel ERA ★★★
"An average hotel, but the location is good, close to a park and cafes. The room was clean, and I liked the convenient shelf with a mirror in the bathroom. However, a full-length mirror in the room would have been nice. Overall, I enjoyed my stay."
Resident Hotel Abay(opened in 2025) ★★★
"Great room with a snowy mountain view. Delicious food with fresh fruit daily. The room was clean and modern."
Kazakhstan Hotel ★★★★
"The hotel is good. The Wi-Fi is a bit weak. Sometimes you have to wait a long time for the elevator. Otherwise, everything else is fine."
Alladin Capsule Hotel (Opened 2026) ★★★
"I really like the common areas and would sit here every night before going to bed. I stayed here for 3 nights. I usually stay up late and wake up early every day, but on the last day of my stay a female staff asked me if I was okay. Did I have a problem with resting? It was very impressive because the staff paid attention to the little things with the guests. The room may look small but it is suitable for a solo traveler. There may be a smell of paint. It is a smell from the hotel being new, but it is not a problem for my stay at all. I like having a washing machine and dryer for free, and of course I use it every day. If I have the chance I will definitely come back to stay."
Ali Boutique Guesthouse ★★★
"Okay. Very good. Excellent."
Sapar Deluxe Plaza ★★★
DongFang Hotel ★★★
"They offer airport transfer, which is super convenient. There's also a Chinese restaurant on the first floor, which is really handy. This is my second stay here, and I'll definitely book this hotel again the next time I visit Almaty. The front desk can even help you arrange a taxi."

"The breakfast is good, with both meat and vegetables. I like the yard in the middle, where I can arrange business, coffee, etc., and the lighting is very good. The room faces the yard and is very quiet at night."
Grand Sky Hotel
"Everything was very nice and clean, the towels were perfectly clean and snow-white. The only downside was the mattress was very soft. It was uncomfortable to sleep in. It was good for 1-2 nights at most, but if you stay longer, you'll say goodbye to back pain. It was quiet, and the air above Al Farabi was wonderful. Thank you ❤️."
Voyage
"I booked Hotel Voyage online. Although I planned to stay in Almaty for about two days, I initially booked only one night. The reason was simple: I have found that many hotels look much better online than they do in reality, so I wanted to see the actual conditions before extending my stay. I arrived in Almaty from Paris via Istanbul at around 5:00 a.m. When I reached the hotel, the receptionist told me that if I wanted to check in early, I would have to pay an additional fee equal to about 50% of the room rate. I could not afford that extra charge. After discussing the situation for a while, I asked if they could contact the hotel manager. Eventually, the receptionist said that I could stay in the room for the time being, but she could not make the final decision until the manager arrived at around 8:30 a.m. I agreed and stayed in the room. At about 8:30 a.m., I went back to the front desk and met a very friendly young woman named Gaukhar, who spoke excellent English. After I explained my situation, she kindly told me that I would not have to pay the early check-in fee and warmly invited me to enjoy breakfast. Her attitude was professional, courteous, and genuinely welcoming. At first, I assumed she was the hotel manager, but I later learned that she was not. It seemed that she had already discussed my situation with the manager before speaking with me. Because of this positive experience, I decided to extend my stay for another night, making my total stay two nights. Overall, I was very satisfied with Hotel Voyage. The hotel was clean, the rooms were spacious and comfortable, the hot and cold water both had excellent pressure, and the room was equipped with a safety deposit box and everything I needed. Every member of the staff was polite and helpful. The breakfast was also clean, fresh, and enjoyable. I can confidently recommend Hotel Voyage to anyone visiting Almaty. I do not think you will regret staying here. If I return to Almaty in the future, I will definitely stay at this hotel again. Yongzhong Danzeng from Tibet 🙏"
