I was a bit sceptical after reading some reviews but our two night stay was without any issue.
If people fail to follow the check in instructions they are sent when they book then the owner can’t be held responsible for that.
We pre-registered our details and I contacted the hotel by WhatsApp the day before. We were sent all the required information for self check in and other usual information.
Room was exactly as shown on website.
Great location and only a minute walk for the bus stop to/from Malaga.

Disappointing. Not conform to the pictures. The room was ok and clean but very tiny and the entrance was so poorly designed that the bathroom door could not close... Not great. In addition there were no reception desk opened ta 7pm, hence I had to call several times to several phone numbers to get to speak to someone to get a set of keys. After 8phone calls and the neighbor's intervention we managed to get a set of keys from another box the hostel manager indicated... No wifi signal in the bedroom. Only 1 towel, a spare one would have been appreciated. Light bulb not working well in the bathroom gave the estancia a very bad vibe, not too mention the suspicious neighborhood.. I never managed to check out. Just left the keys in the premises after waiting 15min. After speaking to 2 people who were supposed to advise and come to pick the keys ..

A set of a few rooms above a very, very lively bar this Friday evening until 3am (we had to get up at 5am to catch a plane). Once the front door has been found (the address is imprecise) and after having been able to contact the owner by telephone (who speaks good English... phew). We had to push the crowd of bar customers to get to the gate. The room is modest...the photos on the site are flattering.
Other information, the city is magnificent, but if you want to avoid getting lost in the labyrinths of very narrow and steep streets, visit it on foot! And avoid crossing it, especially if you don't have a Fiat 500!
In short, accommodation that is convenient less than an hour from Malaga airport but a very disappointing experience, especially at the price.
