I was here only for one night, but I would have stayed longer. The room is clean and cozy, it feels like home. The toilet and shower are also clean. But unfortunately there is no elevator and a very high staircase, but this is almost everywhere the case

Long John Pub should be a pleasant experience, but the opposite turned out to be true. The staff gossips negatively about each other and calls guests out for various negative classifications. During our visit there were even three guests who were extremely angry because of the treatment by an employee. Who made condescending remarks to guests including about us, the employee spoke half Dutch/French and constantly mispronounced it and then she dares to judge us for who we are. After this negative experience I also discovered that they deliberately charge for a large glass of beer while you get a smaller glass, which is in fact theft. When I confronted them with this, I was told that most visitors don't notice it anyway because they are so lame. In short, the staff has a very bad attitude, and I have reported this to the inspection. I absolutely cannot recommend this place.

Everything was very clean, spaces looked newly renovated, bed was very comfortable, wifi connection was fast and stable, staff are friendly and the location is perfect, right in the middle of the city, great bars and restaurants right downstairs.

Cozy comfy and clean, we had an amazing time and were looked after very well by all staff. The atmosphere is relaxed, kind and professional. We slept well and the price of the room was very reasonable. Amersfoort is a great place to visit for a few days!

Excellent service at an excellent price. Rooms and beds are comfortable. Bar area and snack food is very good and very popular. Centrally located amongst many bars and restaurants on your doorstep. Historic location is atmospheric. Well recommended

Lovely place to stay. Food is great. Service is very good. Had good banter & craic with the staff. Young lad who was there the 1st couple of days very helpful with informing me of places to visit. Last morning McGee delivered excellent service. Hotel is in an awesome location 10 min walk from train station & in the heart of old Amersfoort

Fantastic friendly helpful staff. Superior breakfast. A welcome drink at the bar. Beautiful seating indoor and outdoor beside the canal. Perfect location in the old town right by the tourist information office. We had the upstairs suite which was very large with table, sofa, fridge, lots of windows.

Amazing spot in the city, great fournitures. Will go again for sure. You don't hear really the people outside, so you can have a good rest at night. You check-in and out at the bar downstairs. Reception is nice and really polite. I recommand you this place.

Great place, friendly staff and perfect location to explore the city. Also really clean and tidy, and great terrace by the canal.It is our second time at long johns and we would highly recommend it to anyone and we hope to be coming back again soon!
