It's a small hotel. There was a great welcome from the friendly and fun reception staff. But the room very small and the room proportions are not good Makes staying in hotels difficult I came with my family which is highly not recommended. Because the size and arrangement of the facilities is not good.

Really Nice area!!! Lots of food option. Bit of a walk to the major sits. Translucent bathroom partition. Fine for us as a couple. Might not be good for friends sharing a room or families. Would stay here again.

This was the tiniest twin room I've ever shared with my sister. I'm glad it was with her, as the frosted glass door to the shower left little to the imagination and the sounds from the bathroom were also impossible to hide. There was very little hanging space for clothing and NO drawer space. Challenging for a two week visit

Well located and fairly upscale hotel for the price. My room was spacious and bed was extremely comfortable. Shower was great with excellent water pressure. It was quiet. There were just a few oddities relating to the layout of the room that made this stay less comfortable than I would have expected. Little to no counter space on which to set things, especially toiletries. The lighting in the room was odd and dark, I wished I had the ability to have a bright light next to the vanity specifically. Lastly, no luggage rack, storage space for clothes, and the only place you could hang clothes was awkward. Adding a dresser or another piece of furniture with counter space could make a world of difference.
I would stay again, but was less comfortable in this fairly nice hotel than I would have liked. The staff were all fantastic and a pleasure to deal with.

We had a great 2 night stay at the Melrose Hotel. It was in a nice area of the city, near a canal and tram stop. Our room was just right for 2 people- very clean and compact.
Luggage storage was provided.

My fiancé and I stayed her for 3 nights and really enjoyed our stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, housekeeping did a good job.
Our room was on the first floor and was surprisingly quite. The location was great very close to a tram stop and walking distance to many attractions (Anne Frank House), but on a quieter street.
The room was surprisingly large for European rooms ( we are from US where all the rooms are much larger).
Would stay here again and recommend to others!
