We had lunch on the first of January and everything was closed. Luckily we found this place to eat and we ate the best steak ever and also the appetizers were delicious! Besides the staff was very kind and helpful. So suggested!

I would stay here again Hotel was very nice, older building but very well maintained. Our room was on the road side of the building and traffic noise was very loud. Ear plugs or possibly a back room would be better. Location and price are excellent. Room was clean and bed was comfortable.

Great hotel located right by the walls in stunning Avila. Our room was spacious and went out to a great garden area where we sat and had a drink while re- charging our batteries. Staff were friendly and gave us loads of information to make the most of our stay. Restaurant La Bruja which is attached definitely worth a visit too.

The staff was very unfriendly, and they left the reception desk empty during business hours. In other words, poor service. We thought the place was in a nice location, but since there's no parking, it's a bit off-putting. And if you take a drag on a cigarette by mistake, instead of airing it out after your apologies, they charge you for the room again. So, in the end, you won't be left with the best memory of your life. On top of that, the bar closes occasionally, which is part of the charm of this hotel... It even has a bar with a terrace on the Paseo del Rastro.

The hotel is original, beautiful, and well-located near the wall. But! The cockroaches in the bathroom at night spoil the whole stay. The staff was friendly, and I found the self-check-in a bit cumbersome. There was no plug for the bathtub either.
