More than a good hotel! We had a 3-day package "Romantik" half board and included a candlelight dinner. And a welcome cocktail (with 4 courses). Pleasant service, cozy bar, good massages, excellent service. We were in the main building. Perfect base for the Burgberg, Goslar and Werningerode (with the steam train to the Brocken, 1142 m high).

Very accommodating, even when booking. Friendly staff, room in the neighboring building "SUPER". We enjoyed the extensive breakfast, the selection and quality couldn't be beaten, and the staff here were also very friendly. If we go to the Harz again, the hotel will be number one.

Large hotel that was put together from several buildings. A suite (room 306) with a 5 sqm bathroom, which includes a sink, toilet and shower and whose door also opens inwards is something special. The double doors of the shower only open inwards. The way to dinner leads up stairs, down stairs, past the drinks counter. There are then three people waiting for you. One leads you to the table to light the candle. One person brings drinks, one brings the menu, another clears away..., staff shortages seem to be a foreign concept in the Harz.

The high quality of the food and service over many years is astonishing. My family has been regular guests there for two generations. We always feel very comfortable. The staff is very courteous to all guests. The food is varied and of the highest quality. The Braunschweiger Hof offers a special atmosphere. Thank you very much and keep it up.

We booked this hotel online via Booking and were a little disappointed. The pictures on the website looked completely different to the hotel and the room on site. The hotel is a little out of date and the furniture is outdated. The swimming pool and sauna area, on the other hand, were recently renovated and have everything your heart could desire for a wellness stay. It must be said, however, that the water in the pool is very cold! The mid-range room was fine, but not inviting to linger in there; the double bed was uncomfortable. The breakfast buffet was very extensive. Various types of bread and rolls, cereal, fruit salad, eggs, etc. were offered. The breakfast buffet was not so nice to look at in parts, as the salami already had dark edges and the cheese was already sweaty when we arrived. It is also a shame that the butter, for example, was cooled with ice, but when we got to breakfast, the butter was floating in water. Unfortunately, it was not clearly indicated beforehand that drinks were not included in the breakfast. We paid almost 300 euros for 2 nights there and don't think it was good value for money.

A very lovingly designed hotel with great equipment. Clean spa area. With very good food. Particularly friendly service staff!! Very personal! But what is a shame is the beauty farm with a dragon as a beautician. The massage quality is better in a beauty school.
