Popular Baishan 4-star Hotels

So if you are coming here, you are going to Wanda Ski Resort. There are so many many hotels in the area that it really doesn't matter so much which one you pick. Holiday Inn is one of the furthest away from the resort, but the price reflects this. However, it is still only a 10-15min walk (even when it's cold and icy) from the resort. The hotel is busy, there will be wait for the front desk, this is why service got 4/5, but the actual information from staff was okay (no English though so god bless my Chinese partner) The hotel has a mini cinema, a restaurant and access to the ski slopes. You can hire ski's, snowboards along with all the boots and clothing required so you don't need to worry about that. In the hotel is the rental place, you rent your gear and you simply walk out of the hotel and you are at the ski slopes. Please note this is NOT the same 10min walk to Wanda ski resort, the hotel has its own access to the mountain and you use that. The restaurant is fine and breakfast was a buffet with mainly Chinese but some western stuff too. The room, it's not large, but not cramped. Very warm, we even needed the windows open at -40C outside to avoid being too hot. There is a mini supermarket in the hotel, but a better 24 hour store across the road. I think for the money paid compared to other hotels, its very good value. Maybe other hotels have bigger rooms or more restaurants, but as every hotel is next to each other, I wouldn't bother paying more to get one closer to the resort as you can save thousands of RMB for a 1 min walk. And as most of your time will be spent in Wanda ski resort, you won't be in your room much. I doubt I would return to Changbaishan / Wanda Ski resort as an area, but if I did, then as long as the value was still there, Holiday Inn Express is a good enough choice

The hotel is just inside the gate of Changbai Mountain as shown in the picture The only reason I chose this hotel is that they can help me book tickets and it is close to the entrance of Changbai Mountain (but I didn't expect it to be so close, probably less than 100 meters, it feels like I can see this pointed ticket gate after walking two steps) It is indeed a bit inconvenient to go out to other attractions, but we are mainly here to go to Tianchi so it's okay. The room environment is better than I expected, quite clean, and similar to the style of Beipo Lanjing And the front desk service is very enthusiastic, especially a sister with round eyes who really tries to meet our needs as much as possible. We didn't bring a hot pack and couldn't find the store, and she also helped us find a colleague.

Hot spring tickets for 2 large and 1 small Wanda Yuehua Loft Hot Spring Hotel: The hot spring tickets are not in this hotel, and they only open in the afternoon. 2 large and 1 small airport pick-up: no use if you drive there Breakfast is Chinese style and quite rich. The twin room we booked was upgraded to a parent-child room, which is very convenient for bringing children.

First of all, I would like to praise the service. Hallasan is the hotel with the most service staff among the several hotels I have stayed in the resort! Whether you go directly to the hot spring from the guest room on the day of check-in or come to the hot spring after changing hotels, the experience is very good, and there are dedicated people to direct each link. The leisure suite has a super large hot spring pool. You can let the hotel drain the water before 8 pm. The responsible staff is also very responsible and came to check the temperature and water level several times. The overall service chain is mature and can be placed in hot spring resorts in other provinces and cities. The hotel also has obvious shortcomings. The breakfast category is relatively tasteless, the room decoration is a bit old, and the heating temperature is too high and a bit dry, but the suite has few skiing rights and the price is low. It is suitable for hot spring vacations with families, and the cost performance is very satisfactory.

Four-star standard, convenient transportation, good scenery, complete facilities, carpets, various cups, high quality supplies, comfortable bedding, and good service. The fly in the ointment is to imagine that the old state-run hotel does not have self-service laundry, and there is paid laundry.

Excellent services and really nice location to the piste. The restaurant by far the best of the valley and the yoga course really good to improve your mood and your body after a ski sessio. . The hotel is well located, about 30 min by taxi from Baishan Changbaishan airport, 10 min walk from the West slope departure center as well as many restaurants. It looks majestic from the outside and inside, although a bit old. You can enjoy inside and outside hot springs of different kinds and temperatures. There is a huge buffet with various choices for breakfast (Chinese dishes mainly, two kind of fruits and some Western options). The room was very spacious and comfortable. The carpet floor was not very clean and the room smelled like cigarette on the first day, although we asked for a non smoking room. After leaving the window open the whole day it was better and the smell did not come back.

The room is spacious and exceptionally clean. We loved the Kang-style bed, which felt very authentic and added a charming touch of Northeast China’s culture. The breakfast was fantastic with a good variety of options. The staff were also very nice and attentive, making the stay even more pleasant. The only downside was the pick-up and drop-off service, which is only available for the airport. This wasn’t clearly mentioned in the package details, leading to some confusion. Overall, it was a great stay with unique cultural elements, excellent amenities, and wonderful hospitality
