HHong JangWhen I arrived at this hotel early in the morning, I actually felt puzzled, wondering if all the surrounding shops and other hotels were closed. It seemed that not only was it not the peak tourist season, but the economic situation might also be unfavorable, which likely explained it. Since I arrived at the hotel too early, no rooms were ready yet. So, I left my luggage with the hotel first and set out for a tour of the western course of Mount Baekdu. When I returned, my luggage had already been placed in the room assigned to me. The condition of the room was impeccably clean. When I woke up in the morning and opened the curtains, the bright sunlight streaming into the room made me feel incredibly refreshed. I went down to the lobby for breakfast, and the hotel owner personally set the table. The food was exceptionally neat and delicious. Moreover, the owner spoke better English than anyone else at other hotels, which was a great help. It was a clean, cozy, and comfortable hotel to stay in. The only drawback was the lack of an elevator, but carrying luggage up one floor shouldn’t be a problem for most people. And considering that the hotel is right across from the western tourism center of Mount Baekdu, its location more than makes up for the inconvenience of not having an elevator. 我一大早到达这家酒店时，其实心里有些疑惑，感觉周围的商店和其他酒店好像都没营业。这可能不仅是因为现在不是旅游旺季，经济不景气也可能是一个原因。由于我到酒店太早，房间还没整理好，所以我先将行李寄存在酒店，然后出发去长白山西坡景区游览。回来时，我的行李已经放在分配好的房间里了。房间干净得无可挑剔。早上醒来拉开窗帘，明媚的阳光照进房间，心情格外舒畅。下楼到大厅吃早餐时，酒店老板亲自为我摆桌，食物非常整洁美味。而且，老板的英语比其它任何酒店的员工都好，这给了我很大帮助。这是一家干净、舒适、温馨的酒店。唯一的缺点是没有电梯，但提着行李只上一层楼对大多数人来说应该不是问题。考虑到酒店正对着长白山西坡旅游中心，其优越的地理位置完全足以弥补没有电梯的不便。

YYouxiandebaiyunThe hotel environment was very cozy, and the room was quite spacious. The customer service staff were incredibly warm and helpful, explaining how to navigate the park and which services could be accessed directly via QR codes on the app. The hotel's back-of-house staff were also wonderful; they knew my family drinks a lot of water and always prepared extra for us in advance. We truly felt at home during our stay. Our child also had a fantastic time at the ski resort. We will definitely stay here again next time we visit Changbai Mountain. Thank you all for your care and attention; a big thumbs up to the hotel! 👍

GGuest UserWe book 4 ski nights at the hotel, travelling with 10 friends. The customer service manager, Miss Yue Yuan, provided exceptional service and warmth. She was very friendly and supportive, politely greeting us. The rooms were comfortable and tidy up everyday. This trip was filled with surprises at every turn. We had a great time, and I highly recommend everyone to come here and experience their own wonderful vacation.

The breakfast was very rich and satisfying, and they even offered breakfast for two adults and two children for one room, along with a complimentary afternoon tea. We had a slight delay checking in on the first day, only getting our room after 3 PM because it wasn't ready. However, the butler proactively upgraded our room the next day, which we greatly appreciated. Overall, we were very satisfied with the service.

GGuest UserThe rooms are quite old and outdated. Compared to my first stay three years ago, the facilities and service are simply incomparable. The only upside is that the room is very spacious and has a dedicated kitchen. While there's no electric stove in the kitchen, its large size is great for storing things. The amenities are generally quite old; for instance, the magnifying mirror in the bathroom had come loose from its screws and fallen off. However, after I called, they sent someone to fix it immediately. On the day we checked in, the underfloor heating in both the living room and bedroom wasn't on, making it very cold. It only got slightly better on the second day. The overall heating supply is insufficient, and I had to wear thick clothes indoors. Compared to Wanda, the heating supply is much worse. The service on the night of check-in was good; the front desk even helped receive a package for me, which was convenient. However, after the front desk staff changed on the morning of the 25th, the service became very poor, especially from a female staff member standing on the left side. She answered 'I don't know' to everything. When I asked about the price of ski tickets, how to buy them, and if there were any discounts, she didn't even look up and replied that we needed to go out and find out ourselves, and that these questions were irrelevant to the hotel and she wouldn't answer them. The service in the breakfast restaurant on the first floor of the hotel was quite good, and the complimentary ginseng chicken soup set dinner was also delicious. The restaurant servers provided excellent service. Also, we stayed in a one-bedroom suite, and the living room had a sofa bed that could be pulled out for children, but the living room bathroom had no toiletries whatsoever. I had to call twice to get them delivered, which was very inconvenient.

It's also close to the Dragon Cable Car, providing access to multiple runs once you reach the top, offering a fantastic ski-in/ski-out experience. The airport is about a 25-minute drive, and the hotel provides scheduled shuttle services, accommodating even late-night flights, making travel very convenient. The guest rooms are simple yet practical, with a moderate amount of space. The heating is ample, and hot water is consistent. The front desk service is responsive, and the staff are warm and attentive, promptly resolving any issues. The overall service is thoughtful. The 'Yue' Restaurant offers a rich and varied buffet breakfast, combining Chinese and Western options with plenty of hot food to refuel after skiing. For other meals, you can order authentic Northeastern specialty dishes, which are delicious and offer good value. Packages often include ski passes, hot springs, and water park access, making it a very cost-effective option for a one-stop vacation. On the downside, the rooms aren't particularly large, so multiple pieces of luggage might feel a bit cramped. Also, the resort's shuttle bus schedule is fixed, and you might have to wait during peak hours. Overall, these minor drawbacks don't detract from the experience. The location, convenience for skiing, service, and value for money are all exceptional. It's a foolproof choice for a winter vacation in Changbaishan, highly recommended for skiers, families, and leisure travelers.

GGuest UserThis established five-star hotel truly lives up to its reputation! The location is excellent, the facilities are complete, and it really gives you that vacation vibe. It's perfect for families traveling with children, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations – I highly recommend it! Breakfast at the executive lounge was amazing, with a rich variety of Chinese and Western options. The freshly ground pour-over coffee and latte art were a pleasant surprise ☕️! There were also freshly made noodles and fresh fruit, all delicious, and every detail was well thought out. Thank you, Qixi. The entire staff was warm and attentive! Front desk check-in was efficient, and they proactively greeted us. Housekeeping was prompt, and the restaurant staff were thoughtful and meticulous. Any requests were handled quickly, and we felt cared for throughout our stay.

Manager Tang Xiaohan from the hotel called and messaged us on WeChat beforehand to understand all our needs in detail. During our stay, she'd remind us about the weather every day and even proactively offered hand warmers when it was cold. I especially want to thank Manager Tang for her exceptional dedication in helping us arrange a ski instructor for our child. When one day's ski lesson couldn't be booked, Manager Tang tirelessly helped me refresh the mini-program every day to see if there were any available instructors. It truly touched this old mother's heart! The hotel's location is super convenient for skiing; the ski center and restaurants are right downstairs. The hotel also has its own laundry room, which is a great plus. See you next snow season!

FffstarThe room was great, exceeding our expectations. We, two adults and one child, had a wonderful stay. The service was also very good, and ski equipment rental was super convenient, with lots of free perks to enjoy. The only minor improvements I'd suggest are regarding the breakfast staff's attentiveness and if the hotel could arrange more ski instructors for guests. We stayed for four days and still couldn't book a lesson. Otherwise, everything was excellent. We'll definitely stay here again.

Every staff member we encountered was friendly, professional, and genuinely accommodating, which made our stay extremely comfortable and stress-free. A special mention goes to the receptionist H, who was exceptionally helpful throughout our stay. As we did not have the local apps in China, she kindly assisted us with ordering taxis and food delivery, always with patience and a warm attitude. Her help made a huge difference and we truly appreciated her care and attentiveness. We would also like to specially thank 陆陆, who helped us arrange everything related to skiing. From organizing ski clothing rentals to coordinating transportation to the ski resort just a few minutes away, everything was handled very smoothly and professionally. In addition, 陆陆 took the time to recommend many places to visit and shared detailed information, which made our trip even more enjoyable and well-planned. Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations in terms of service, convenience, and hospitality. It’s rare to find a place where the staff are so attentive and willing to go the extra mile to ensure guests have a wonderful experience. We highly recommend this hotel and would definitely choose to stay here again 🥰
