Baishan Hotels with Breakfast

When I arrived at this hotel early in the morning, I actually felt puzzled, wondering if all the surrounding shops and other hotels were closed. It seemed that not only was it not the peak tourist season, but the economic situation might also be unfavorable, which likely explained it. Since I arrived at the hotel too early, no rooms were ready yet. So, I left my luggage with the hotel first and set out for a tour of the western course of Mount Baekdu. When I returned, my luggage had already been placed in the room assigned to me. The condition of the room was impeccably clean. When I woke up in the morning and opened the curtains, the bright sunlight streaming into the room made me feel incredibly refreshed. I went down to the lobby for breakfast, and the hotel owner personally set the table. The food was exceptionally neat and delicious. Moreover, the owner spoke better English than anyone else at other hotels, which was a great help. It was a clean, cozy, and comfortable hotel to stay in. The only drawback was the lack of an elevator, but carrying luggage up one floor shouldn’t be a problem for most people. And considering that the hotel is right across from the western tourism center of Mount Baekdu, its location more than makes up for the inconvenience of not having an elevator. 我一大早到达这家酒店时，其实心里有些疑惑，感觉周围的商店和其他酒店好像都没营业。这可能不仅是因为现在不是旅游旺季，经济不景气也可能是一个原因。 由于我到酒店太早，房间还没整理好，所以我先将行李寄存在酒店，然后出发去长白山西坡景区游览。 回来时，我的行李已经放在分配好的房间里了。 房间干净得无可挑剔。早上醒来拉开窗帘，明媚的阳光照进房间，心情格外舒畅。 下楼到大厅吃早餐时，酒店老板亲自为我摆桌，食物非常整洁美味。 而且，老板的英语比其它任何酒店的员工都好，这给了我很大帮助。 这是一家干净、舒适、温馨的酒店。 唯一的缺点是没有电梯，但提着行李只上一层楼对大多数人来说应该不是问题。考虑到酒店正对着长白山西坡旅游中心，其优越的地理位置完全足以弥补没有电梯的不便。

For our family trip to Changbai Mountain during the National Day holiday, we stayed at the Herik Hotel. Although we didn't make it to the top of Changbai Mountain, the Herik Hotel and the Huamei Resort left a deep impression on us. The entire resort offers an excellent family-friendly experience. In the evenings, there were shows and interactive activities with NPCs. The Herik Hotel where we stayed was also excellent. We were in Building B, and from check-in to check-out, the guest service manager, Wang Bingshu, was incredibly kind, friendly, and demonstrated professional service. We had booked a twin room for one night and a family twin room for another, but we were upgraded directly to a family twin room for both nights. The room was very spacious, with a living room, washing machine, microwave, and refrigerator, making it perfect for families. The sofa bed in the living room could also accommodate two additional people. The bathroom provided toilet sanitizing wipes, which was a thoughtful touch; providing toilet seat covers would make it even better. The hotel breakfast was quite abundant, but you need to leave the hotel and walk about 2 minutes to the Magpie Restaurant. For getting to various attractions, you can wait for the shuttle bus at the hotel entrance, which comes every 15 minutes or so. We would definitely choose to stay here again next time we come to climb the mountain.

My flight landed in Changbai Mountain at 11:15 PM, and I had tickets for the West Slope at 7:30 AM the next day. After much deliberation, I chose the Blue River Hotel, and it turned out to be an excellent decision. It saved me both travel time and distance, and I had a comfortable and safe stay. The hotel's location is truly unbeatable, right at the old West Slope entrance. This saved me the trip from Wanda or the town to the main entrance, and then to the old entrance. From the old entrance, you just take a shuttle bus into the West Slope scenic area, and it drops you right at the base of Tianchi Lake. The hotel lobby is incredibly spacious, parking is convenient, the rooms are well-equipped, and they even provide complimentary welcome fruit. Breakfast starts promptly at 7 AM, with a good variety of options. The taste was decent, and I even snuck out two steamed buns to eat on the mountain 😂. I highly recommend the peach juice; the peaches 🍑 from Changbai Mountain are incredibly appealing. The front desk staff were so polite I almost felt embarrassed 😅. When I checked in, they recognized my name from a distance. The next day, as I left, they reminded me to take my umbrella. And when I returned in the afternoon to collect my luggage after exploring, they gave me more fruit and water, and kept asking if there was anything they could have done better. In summary, while the facilities might be a bit older, their shortcomings don't overshadow the positives. I highly recommend this hotel 🏨 to anyone following a similar itinerary as mine.

We celebrated the Mid-Autumn Festival here, and the complimentary mooncakes were incredibly delicious. We even got to watch fireworks, and the surrounding scenery is beautiful. I brought my parents here for a 3-day stay, and the whole family was very satisfied! The guesthouse is a tranquil oasis amidst a lively area, with a small courtyard at the entrance and even the owner's own vegetable garden – it's so cozy and clean. My parents enjoyed having tea and sunbathing there every morning. The owner was incredibly patient, helping us plan a relaxed, unhurried itinerary, and the location is absolutely perfect, very close to all the attractions we wanted to visit. The room was quiet, charmingly decorated with a unique touch, and very comfortable. All the furniture in the room had no sharp edges, and the hot water was stable 24/7, with a temperature suitable for seniors. The cleanliness was meticulous; there wasn't even dust in the back of the wardrobe. My parents said it was even more comfortable than being at home! From facilities, hygiene, environment to service, everything was impeccable. It's truly the perfect choice for a trip!

During my stay at the hotel, the service was excellent, especially the concierge, Xiao Hui. He was incredibly helpful, answering all our questions and taking care of every detail – a huge thank you to him! Also, the young lady at the front desk on the night shift on the 19th was very enthusiastic. However, I have to complain about the Chinese restaurant. My dad took my child there and ordered black truffle fried rice and stir-fried beef. I don't know if it was because they ordered too little, but the food never came. When they asked a female server about it, her attitude was extremely dismissive, just saying, ”Just wait!” I'm not sure if she wasn't properly trained or if she was just being selective with customers. Later, they asked a manager, who also couldn't give a definitive answer. In the end, they just ordered takeout to the room. Besides this one issue, everything else was great.

The room was spacious, fulfilling my child's wish to sleep on the top bunk. The environment is beautiful, and the aesthetics of all the promotional materials, road signs, and logo designs are top-notch. The complimentary benefits and activities were so numerous we couldn't even use them all. The evening activities were abundant, and the flow of movement was well-planned. Even if we missed a shuttle, they would arrange an alternative vehicle for us. After the last shuttle from the hot springs, you could rent a scooter, and at other times, the shuttle service was very prompt. The shuttle from Songguo Li was always on time as it's the starting point. We only ate at Li Liangui inside the resort; for other meals, we called nearby restaurants that offered free pickup and drop-off, and the food was delicious and affordable. Oh, and when I booked the hotel, rafting wasn't listed as a benefit, but we actually received a complimentary Red Willow Rafting experience. To get to the South Slope, we asked the front desk to arrange a private car, and the driver was reliable and the price fair. Overall, I would recommend Huamei Shengdi to my friends. My only complaint is that there are too few washing machines; we could never get one.

One of the highlights of my National Day trip to Changbai Mountain this year was staying at the Jinhua Hotel! During my stay, I was incredibly well taken care of by our butler, Tutu, every day. It truly felt like a home away from home. Before my arrival, Tutu held a room for me as I was arriving late and even upgraded me to an executive breakfast. On the day I checked in, they brought me some snacks, and on my birthday, they surprised me with a cake. The night before I left, I received a Proya skincare set. I was traveling alone, but it felt like I was surrounded by familiar warmth. A huge thank you again to Tutu! It's rare to find a hotel with such attentive and heartwarming staff; this alone makes it stand out from other hotels. The hotel's environment is also notably convenient and elegant. It's right next to the only snack street and entertainment area in Wanda Resort, making dining, drinking, and entertainment incredibly easy. Especially in the evening, when the ambient lights come on, it feels like stepping into a dreamy fairy tale. It's bustling yet peaceful, with unique and beautiful scenery. It's a shame that the long holiday flew by so quickly. I was truly sad to leave and plan to come back for a spring or winter holiday. I'll definitely stay here again, and I wish Butler Tutu all the best in their career and happiness every day!

An older, upscale hotel with facilities and a layout that were top-notch in its time. While the hotel may be older, the service is still excellent! I really liked the butler online service; it's a much better experience than a budget hotel. Our family of three had a very spacious and comfortable stay! It's dry in Changbai Mountain this season, and they thoughtfully provided plenty of water! We really needed it! I haven't drunk this much water in a long time!

For my autumn trip to Changbai Mountain, I chose a hotel closer to the west slope and stayed at the Wanda Tourist Resort Hotel. The butler service was attentive and thorough. Restaurants in the surrounding area offered pick-up and drop-off services, and the hotel also provided hot spring tickets. The room was quiet and elegant, and the hygiene was excellent. The resort facilities were comprehensive, with attention to detail, making for a very satisfying vacation.

After the booking was successfully confirmed, the hotel staff set up a dedicated service group chat (with two hotel staff members, Xiao Shen and Xiao Zhuang). In the chat, they proactively confirmed our high-speed railway pick-up and drop-off details. Changbaishan West Railway Station is about a 30-35 minute drive from the hotel. Our pick-up vehicle was a regular mini-coastal bus, and the drop-off vehicle was a Mercedes-Benz business van. Both drivers were very nice. The check-in and check-out processes were both extremely smooth. The front desk gentleman on duty on October 10th (apologies for not catching his name) definitely deserves high praise 👍. Whether it was helping us book the resort's shuttle bus or answering any questions we had, he was always prompt and helpful. The hotel room was comfortable and bright. The Italian restaurant on the ground floor serves decent food, and the staff even reminded us about discounted set menus available on review platforms. As it is the low season right after the National Day holiday, there were very few people around the entire resort. It's a wonderful place for a relaxing getaway and vacation.
