Everything in the photo is completely true, a cozy small hotel, very green, a 10 minute calm walk to the beach. We booked the bike at the hotel, 150k for nmax, they also called a taxi for us then to the pier (online taxi does not work). We also had dinner at the hotel, very inexpensive and tasty, tastier than in the neighboring warungs. Breakfast a la carte. We had enough. For some reason there are only 2 towels, which is not very convenient, but it was enough for us. It's very quiet at night. The pool is small but clean and comfortable. In general everything is ok, we liked the hotel.

We stayed 4 nights at Penida Bay Bungalows and would have stayed longer if it wasn’t booked out. The bungalows are spacious and quiet, situated in a clean little village, a short easy walk to Crystal Bay. The pool is lovely, refreshing and a pleasant area to relax around. Our breakfast was included and we ate at least one other meal the restaurant each day. Good air conditioning, shower and wifi. The only con was the noise from planes at night. The walk to Crystal Bay beach is easy, shaded and there’s a dirt goat track shortcut past family farms. We snorkeled at Crystal Bay which has a great reef with turtles, watched the sunset and ate at local warungs. There is also a short walk over the cliff to the next couple of beaches.

The bungalows are clean and spacious. The very cute swimming pool. The hotel is in the heart of a rural village in Nusa Penida, a few minutes' walk from Crystal Bay beach. The staff is very welcoming and will do everything to ensure you have a pleasant stay. A little advice if you book in advance ask not to have the first bungalow because it is next to the kitchen and you will have a little noise at the start of the evening. But nothing too disturbing.
