My recent stay at The Pari Sudha in Ubud, Bali, was delightful overall. The hotel exudes charm and offers a truly secluded getaway. However, there are a few logistical points future visitors should know to set expectations. Accessibility Getting to the hotel can be a bit challenging. The property is not located directly on the main road, and you'll need to navigate a narrow 150ish meter alley on foot or by scooter. When we arrived at the Google Maps pin for The Pari Sudha, we found a small ”reception” desk with no staff present. After calling the hotel, they promptly sent someone to pick us up and assist with our luggage, which was greatly appreciated. However, it would have been much more convenient if this information were shared in advance to avoid confusion. The Property Once you settle in, The Pari Sudha reveals its true beauty. The design is charming and blends seamlessly with the surrounding lush greenery. The pool in front of the forest adds a serene touch, offering sightings of squirrels and other wildlife, making it a peaceful retreat. We opted for the floating breakfast, which, while pricey due to the additional charge for the basket, was a unique experience. Our room came with a private pool just a few steps away. Although small, it was beautifully designed and added to the sense of luxury. This hotel is perfect for those seeking tranquility and a break from the bustling city life. Dining Options The hotel only serves breakfast. For other meals, there are plenty of good restaurants within walking distance, and food delivery options are readily available in Ubud. Be prepared to venture out for lunch or dinner as needed. Nearby Attractions The property also includes a temple on the lower ground, about a 10-minute walk away. Unfortunately, it is not well-maintained, so I’d recommend skipping it to save yourself the hassle. Hospitality The staff were consistently hospitable and accommodating. Their warmth added to the overall positive experience. I hope the property continues to be well-maintained so it can retain its charm for future guests. Final Thoughts Despite the initial challenges of locating and accessing the hotel, my stay at The Pari Sudha was memorable and relaxing. For those looking to unwind amidst nature and experience a quieter side of Ubud, this hotel is an excellent choice.

The 10-minute drive or ride, coupled with the provided shuttle bus, ensures easy access to all the attractions and amenities that Ubud has to offer. Warm Hospitality: The friendly and helpful staff create a welcoming atmosphere from the moment you arrive, with handwritten messages adding a personal touch to your stay. Their dedication to ensuring your comfort and satisfaction is evident throughout your experience. On-Site Amenities: The hotel boasts a range of amenities to cater to your needs, including a relaxing spa, a delectable restaurant serving delicious cuisine with vegan options, a refreshing swimming pool that is daily maintained, and a shuttle bus service for convenient transportation. Tranquil Setting: The hotel's serene environment, surrounded by lush greenery and soothing water features, provides a peaceful haven amidst the bustling town. Relax by the pool, indulge in spa treatments, or simply unwind in the tranquil ambiance of the hotel's grounds. Occasional Debris in the Pool: The swimming pool, while well-maintained, may occasionally experience leaves or other debris falling from the surrounding trees.

Despite a couple of hiccups, we enjoyed our stay at Komaneka. Staff were all very friendly and helpful, which made our holiday more memorable. This trip was to celebrate our recent engagement, and we were so happy to he greeted by this cute flower arrangement on our bed. Breakfast was adequate (loved the fruit cuts, juice and Bali coffee) but afternoon tea was so so. For more authentic local food experience, you'd want to dine outside of the resort.

The hotel is very new. The rooms are very clean and bright. The staff's service is high-quality, considerate and first-rate. They meet my needs. The problem of water leaking from the bathroom faucet was immediately followed up and rectified. There are only a few rooms in the hotel and there are not many guests. It feels very peaceful. , swimming in the swimming pool is like a private pool, the swimming pool is slightly thin, the massage in the room feels comfortable, the price is not expensive, I will consider staying here again

It was a great and relaxing stay here. Our room was spacious, was simple and classically decorated with the rice terrace view from the balcony. The grounds were well kept and healing to walk through. Nice view from their open air spa. Very friendly and personable service. Enjoyed the afternoon tea and a special balinese dance with dinner event one of of the evenings. Great location in the middle of restaurants and shops. Saw a couple of monkeys that minded their own business. Will be keen to check out and stay at their other newer Komaneka hotels :)

The environment is really comfortable, in the primeval forest, the feeling of nature is really worth a night of experience I don't think the food is delicious, maybe I'm not used to it The room facilities are really old, compared with the room fee of more than 10,000, it's still not worth it, maybe they need me to feel the original nature The SPA is not comfortable, not as good as you say, I did a facial and body treatment, it's very average, and you can experience a project if you don't have a lot of money Next I'm going to Bulgari to experience it and see what the difference is It is recommended to stay for one night at most If you don't have a lot of money, go to a villa, will the villa be much better

Alaya resort staff truly went above and beyond to make my wife’s birthday celebration special. They helped arrange a lovely surprise with flower petal decorations, a delicious birthday cake, and a beautiful rose bouquet (available at an extra cost). The resort's location is also excellent, situated right beside fantastic cafes like Pison, where we enjoyed a discount of 10%! Our room was spacious, with a comfortable bed and it comes with impeccable housekeeping service twice a day. Every detail was taken care of, making our two nights stay truly relaxing and enjoyable. Overall, I highly recommend Alaya Resort for its exceptional service and fantastic location.

Every single stay of mine with the Aman hotels is wonderful and unforgettable. Amandari is no exception. I found an extraordinary sense of peace and tranquility as I sat by the hotel's pool, gazing out at the lush green trees in the distance. As always, the rooms at Aman were spacious yet cozy and elegantly refined. The staff, dressed in traditional Indonesian attire, attended to us so thoughtfully that it seemed I had nothing to worry about except savoring the serene, peaceful moments.

We booked the villa for 2 nights and were not aware that the villa was not within the main compound. Nonetheless it was not so much of an issue as there is a buggy service to ferry you to an fro. We were initially worried about monkeys in the villa as it is just next to the Monkey Forest. However, we only encountered a monkey’s presence only once at the villa and it did not disturb us at all. The resort provides a shuttle service to Ubud Market once a day at 10.30am and a pick up at 5pm. There is a short cut to the villa next to the Monkey Forest entrance using the same path as the motorcyclists. Need to be wary of monkeys eyeing your bags though. Breakfast is sufficient to start the day. There is a ready to drink water dispenser in the villa. The cleanliness of the villa is acceptable but the other bathroom can make do with a good scrub. There are shower and bathtub in the main bedroom. Would we come back? Yes, but not at the rate that we had paid for. Understandably we stayed during the super peak period of Hari Raya and rates were double the normal price.

Very good experience! All you need to do is completely relax. I had the most comfortable sleep in recent years, which lasted for 12 hours.😄😄😄
