Room At VIPA is my absolute favourite. Every time I visit Bangkok, this is my go-to place for absolute comfort. Lost count of how many times I've stayed there, 10 or 15 times maybe. That's how much I love this place. Reasons why I love this place: 1. It's located in an area which is equidistant from most tourist spots in the city 2. It's about 100 meters from the main road where you can easily access public transport like the buses or the newly opened SRT dark red line 3. There is a cafe/restaurant on the ground floor if you're looking for fancy food or street food stalls a few steps ahead. Or you could just step into 7/11 next door for a sea of options 4. About the property, the rooms were not super huge, but they had all the necessary things you would need in a budget hotel room. The bed is soft, there’s AC, TV, water bottles, small bedside table with a small lamp for night reading, enough plug points to charge your phones/laptops/power banks. The bathroom was small and would be tough for people of big build to move around freely but it was clean, has shampoo, liquid soap, hot water facility, etc. Not the worst bathroom that I’ve come across. There is also a clothes hanger to hang dirty clothes or washed ones 5. They also have a common area on each floor where they have a microwave to heat your food. They have a refrigerator to keep some of your food and drinks, and you can label them so that others don’t take it 6. In the lobby there is free coffee sachets, cups available and hot water available as well. Free Wi-Fi too 7. Starting from reception to the cleaning staff, everybody is super sweet and helpful. They do know fair amount of English and if they don’t, they try to manage through actions 8. Also, for people who would’ve booked through third parties and have some questions about early check-in/late checkout or other general questions, can do so by chatting with them through FB Messenger and/or Line app. They are very responsive and very sweet while chatting as well. You can also directly book with them through the chat I have never once had any complaints with this place, out of many times that I’ve stayed here. This place gives such a cosy and homely vibe that you just can’t help feeling the comfort of your home in a foreign land at Room At VIPA. I have recommended Room At VIPA to many of my friends and acquaintances alike and everybody has just good things to say about this place. I will visit again very soon!

Travel to stay 1am on 20/11 from Don Mueang Airport - The way used to travel is closed, you have to detour to another way, it takes a very long time. The hotel is in an easy entry point if coming late at night - before coming to the hotel, there was a call to make a reservation, but the staff informed that the walk in can come to the front of the counter. The room left, no need to reserve - When arriving Hotel counter in the middle of the night at 1am, the staff informed me to transfer work by scanning QR Code, but could not do the items. We tried to do 2 banks and use 2 mobile phones and could not do it. So I asked the staff for the account number. But the staff informed that there was only us QR code with very late and tired. There was cash. 700, so I asked to pay first and then come down to pay another 100 - 8.00 tomorrow. The staff called to the room while we were sleeping because we slept late last night. The staff called to collect the 100 baht that was left and wanted to go down to pay immediately, was sleeping soundly because I was very tired and very bad mood. - Clodor corridor, black lights on the whole floor and have to walk, turn on the flashlight from the mobile phone to find the room number by yourself - The sign indicates the room location number is not correct - The towels are very dirty - Behind the room, the cigarette butts are all overflowing

The room is clean.The bed is comfortable. The sheets , towels are clean. The bathroom is clean and good smell.There are toiletries. The surrounding are quite. There are restaurants,ministores nearby,can walk only few minutes.

I was so impressed with the HOTEL it was the day before NYE and availability was very low I had sun stroke that day so was so nice to have dark and quiet and they never complained that I went through 6 rolls of toilet paper To the guy that complained about no toilet paper maybe just ask Nicely Once the sky train is fixed getting around will be so much better They were all so nice and accommodating The 7/11 on the corner was great with a great pharmacy section and the Japanese resteraunt was delicious even as sick as I was the taste was amazing when my daughter brought it back to my room

We plan to stay for 3 nights from August 4, 2023, and use the interior of the Showa modern room recommended by Airtri and the highly-rated Thai Vanlist Hotel Gamwonwan. Taxi use is essential because it is in a difficult place to understand. According to the online information, the hair dryer was written as a reservation required, so when I asked for a loan, it said ”I don't have” ... I prepared it if you stated that there was no hair dryer. Amenities are only small soap in individual packaging. There are no shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush, and only home bath towels are placed for the number of people. When locking the door from the outside, lock it by pushing the button on the handle of the door knob from the room and closing the door. I am also worried about security. There was no safety box in the room. When I went to the front desk because hot water did not come out from the shower in the guided room, an incredible word ”tomorrow night” came out. After pressing and answering, I asked him to change to another room, but only the first time there was hot water and then water. I haven't confirmed the operation, but a CRT type TV was installed. There is a gap in the window glass on the border with the veranda, and the bathtub, washroom, refrigerator, floor, sofa, and desk are crawling with ants. The spring of the bed is deteriorating and my back hurts, mites? I couldn't withstand the itching that I was bitten and spent the rest of the schedule looking for another hotel. Despite the poor environment that is hard to say clean, it is not cheap (there are many clean accommodations within walking distance of Asoke and Sukhumvit station at the same price) It is very far from the center and Suvarnabhumi Airport, so it costs transportation. I dared to write it because there is no such information in the word of mouth. It is very dangerous to make a reservation without any prior knowledge by swallowing good reviews like us. Among the many accommodations, it was very doubtful that Mr. Airtri would recommend such a facility. I traveled to Thailand 5 times, but it was an unprecedented accommodation. Lastly, the English of the man at the front desk spoke the most easy-to-understand English during my stay in Thailand.

Good location near The Mall Ngamwongwan. There is a parking lot. The lobby entrance has a very strong smell of cigarettes. There is a restaurant downstairs, but can't order, ask the staff, they say it's for tour groups. The overall condition is quite shabby. In the room there is a musty smell. The light in the room should be less or less bright, so the atmosphere in the room looks gloomy. When arriving at the hotel, there was an additional room deposit of 1000 baht, but I got it back.

We chose Cinnamon Residence as our ASQ quarantine hotel for the mandatory fifteen night quarantine isolation upon entering Thailand from outside the country.  Cinnamon is a  basic, no-frills hotel.  Three meals a day, in plastic take-out containers were provided and dropped off on a chair outside our doors at 8:00, 12:00 and 17:00.   We chose all Thai food, as opposed to western food and found the meals to be pretty good.  The food, predictively, was delivered at or near room temperature, though there was a microwave in the room.  Any items breaded and deep fried came soggy, horribly greasy and beyond redemption by microwave.  I requested a china plate, a glass and a knife, but was told those items are forbidden.  Only the hotel issued Melamine plate, drinking cup, soup spoon or plasticware and plastic forks and spoons are allowed. The sliding window to the balcony was screwed almost closed and could not be opened beyond eight inches.  With that tiny opening, I did not have adequate reach for access to a towel drying rack under the air conditioner.  Residents are allowed to venture outside of the room only by special permission and have no access to the hotel gym or outdoors, whatsoever during their two week quarantines. In the best of circumstances, solitary confinement for over two weeks is difficult.  A couple of things made a nice difference for me.  When I had adequate internet access, I was able to pass the time much more pleasantly.  I needed to make several calls to the management during my first few days in quarantine, asking for attention to my WiFi to achieve that.  The information technology person in the hotel made several changes to my internet connection and finally achieved adequate connectivity for my needs most of the time.  I found that I was able to order grocery items online from Tops Market.  I could get fresh fruit that I craved, as well as other comfort food, I really liked having around.  I wonder how this hotel would have been for a non-public health related stay.  I don’t believe I’d return though, because coming back would likely bring back unpleasant memories of the experience of having been restrained here, inside of four walls for over two weeks.

Lovely staff, polite, good advice, not crowded. The room is very clean. New room, spacious room, no musty smell, old air conditioner, quite loud wind sound. People who are difficult to sleep may not sleep well, but the air conditioner is cold, no breakfast. Complete bathroom equipment, hair dryer, but the TV has no signal, no Wi-Fi, a little difficult to travel.

A very good hotel for the price., The hotel is connected to the airport metro and is a very good and clean hotel After coming to the hotel, if you have to go anywhere then it is very easy because the metro is right at the gate. local restaurants, Starbucks and food shops are just outside the hotel.I think this is the cheapest and best hotel in a city like Bangkok.
