JJiangzhehubaoyouyouyouWow! The location of this homestay is amazing, it's right in the ”arms” of the terraced fields! As soon as you open the window, you can see the green and stacked terraced fields, just like a painting. When you open your eyes in the morning, you can see the ”sea of clouds and terraced fields”, which is beautiful! The room is very clean and has everything you need. It is comfortable to stay in. The boss is super nice and is always willing to help us with any questions. He also pointed out a shortcut to watch the sunrise. It was very quiet at night and I slept soundly. If you also want to stay by the terraced fields and stare at the scenery, this ”home” is really recommended! Next time I come to Longji, I will definitely choose here!

GGuest UserThis hotel, nestled deep in the mountains, is about a 50-minute drive from the Longji Rice Terraces. While a bit remote, it's a perfect place to relax and unwind, away from the hustle and bustle, with only the beautiful scenery, sunsets, and sea of clouds to enjoy. Breakfast is free with unlimited refills, and the rice noodles are delicious. The menu is simple, but the dishes are all delicious. I got a free room upgrade, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offer unobstructed views. In the evening, I enjoyed the mountain breeze, a glass of wine, and a rare moment of quiet.

GGuest UserOur experience staying at Li An Lodge is truly unforgettable. We travelled to Guilin for 5 days and stayed two nights at Celadon room at Li An Lodge. The views from this boutique hotel are absolutely breathtaking and had previously been featured in National Geographic Traveller — beautiful rice terraces unobstructed by other buildings, mountains, the sky, the moon, the sound of crickets at night and the sound of water flowing in the fields — you feel a deep connection with the nature in this place. There are almost no people around as it is high up the mountain and you only meet local villagers, who keep the traditional way of life, dressing in beautiful traditional clothes, working the fields and enjoying a chat or a meal among themselves. The hotel itself is a masterpiece of traditional wooden architecture, built without a single nail, original wood carvings, traditional ethnic embroideries, antique jars and other pottery decorate the halls and rooms.
The hotel manager, who introduced himself as Aaron to us, showed impeccable hospitality, paying attention to the smallest details to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Aaron is fluent in English, easygoing and very pleasant to communicate with. We had been in touch over WeChat prior to our arrival to Li An Lodge, and he helped us organise transportation form the airport to the hotel, shared very useful information about local villages, sightseeing, food worth trying, he organized homemade dinner with the freshest local veggies and chicken the first evening we were there, it was a real feast — several delicious meals and drinks cooked there and then, for breakfast we had “Western breakfast” — good coffee (ground beens) , bacon and eggs, toast, local fresh fruit and we also tried the local specialty - mifen (rice noodles) which was really good. He recommended places to try other local foods and drink which left us very satisfied. The second day we were coming back from a hike in the neighbouring village and decided last minute that we wanted to stay in and have dinner at Li An Lodge instead of the restaurant where we initially planned to dine. We checked with Aaron where it was possible, since it was already after 6:30 pm, he told us he would call the chef and would start cooking. When we got there after a beautiful walk in the terrace fields, Aaron met us with beers to enjoy on the hotel’s terrace. We realised the chef was not there but Aaron was making the meals himself — turns out he is also an amazing chef! He cooked everything with the local freshest produce — several dishes — bamboo shoots and chicken, steamed loofah with tomatoes, pumpkin, eggplant, local rice, we are still dreaming about those freshest delicious meals. Thank you Aaron!
We ended our stay by watching two documentaries about LongJi Rice fields and Life of a Panda in the hotel’s bar/film viewing room and Aaron answered our many questions about the local customs, traditions, food and crafts. It was an amazing stay, and I would recommend this hotel to those interested in cultural immersion, nature, traditional cuisine, arts and those looking to connect with the nature and escape the busy city life.

AAnonymous UserThe experience exceeded expectations, the boss upgraded the duplex, the children especially like it, and always said that it was the best room I have ever stayed in.
The room was very clean, especially the sanitary ware was the same as the brand new, there was no water stains and scale, and almost no sanitary corners were seen.
The homestay itself is also very beautiful, very close to the Golden Buddhading Observation Deck, you can easily see the sunrise. The terraces in October are so beautiful, this experience is really great!

It is really good for a hotel on the top of the mountain to be able to do this. The beautiful scenery is unobstructed. It is recommended to stay here. Don't miss the balcony room, where you can see the great view from the balcony. It is beautiful. There are terraced fields at the door of the hotel, and there is an observation deck after walking up the mountain. The hotel can be driven directly to the door

GGuest UserFirst of all, the proprietress of the hotel is very friendly and welcoming and impressed. It can be said that if there is a difficulty, I will solve the problem. I am 2 big and 2 small, and the small is only 2 years old (know everything) with a lot of luggage and a lot of population. But the proprietress tried her best to give us convenience. The layout of the accommodation environment is basically the same as the promotional pictures. The homestay is relatively clean and has no smell. If you are traveling by car, pay attention to not bring too much luggage when you go to the homestay, because there is still a short walk. The mountain road is long, pay attention to driving, the mountain road is narrow, and it is just enough to meet the car.

AAnonymous UserSure enough, I didn't choose the wrong place. I said that I would go on a trip on the weekend. I just caught up with the irrigation of the terraces. It was very popular. The room facilities were very good and clean. The first floor is the bistro. It feels like coming to drink a drink and sleep. Then take a photo in the room. The Longji Terraces are over. It is very happy. The raw coconut latte is really good. Plus grilled fish + bartender, the more you drink, the more you have, and come back in summer vacation.

GGuest UserStayed at this hotel for the second time. The hotel environment is very good and clean. The boss is very good and caring. He is responsible for picking up and picking up from Dazhai. His dishes are also good. The breakfast is really delicious. The rice wine sent by the boss is cool and sweet. A drink feels like eliminating the fatigue of the road. It's truly a delightful experience. The owner is a fantastic cook, and his meals are incredibly delicious. I highly recommend the bamboo chicken, which is a favorite for both adults and children!
