Truly magical experience for a family from a rainforest country. Waking up to mountains draped in white was unforgettable. Unfortunately, luck wasn’t entirely on our side, as the scenic area was closed on our second day due to snow storm, altering our expedition plans. But we have no regrets about staying here. Despite the cold, the staff’s warm hospitality made our stay truly enjoyable. The 管家 was very helpful in guiding us on what to prepare for our trip. We were also upgraded to a room with the best view, which made our stay even more special. The next morning, we enjoyed a hearty breakfast before setting off. Although there was no tourist bus to take us to the entrance, they arranged a private car for us and even contacted our driver to ensure a smooth departure.

He told us a lot of folk stories and his travel stories. For example, this B&B was an inn when the Red Army traveled 25,000 miles. Later, the owner renovated it according to the ancient building. We said we wanted to go to Jiajin Mountain Pass at dinner that night, and the owner warmly invited us to go together the next morning. He drove us to Jiajin Mountain Pass for free. The road to the hotel is considered difficult to drive. It is all climbing and turning. When we went there, the road was still under construction and was still very narrow. We needed to be very careful when passing cars. If it weren't for the small flag of the hotel on the side of the road when we drove halfway, I thought I had driven the wrong way. Who would build a homestay on such a road? After arriving, the scenery was not bad. But the scenery was similar all the way, and I was a little tired of it. And I was more worried about driving down the mountain tomorrow, so I didn't feel it was amazing. You can watch the sunrise in the morning, and you can watch the stars at night because there is no light pollution. At the end of April, it was very cold in the morning and evening, and I was not in the mood to watch. Wear more clothes in the morning and evening. Experienced drivers can ignore my feelings.
