GGuest UserThe Little Carpenter's reputation lives up to its reputation. Not only are the rooms cozy, with views of snow-capped mountains and a creek outside, but the service is truly homely. It was raining when we arrived on our first day, but they drove us up the mountain to avoid catching a cold. On our second day, when we left after our tour, they helped us load our luggage onto the sightseeing bus. It was incredibly smooth. For dinner, since we'd already been enjoying beef hot pot in Jiuzhaigou for a few days, we opted for stir-fried vegetables grown in the vegetable patch next to the B&B. They were absolutely delicious! The owner said the mushrooms in their beef hot pot are freshly picked from the mountains. Sadly, I'll have to try it next time. I'd highly recommend this to anyone visiting Shuangqiaogou. I'm just worried you might not be able to book a room, but thankfully the owner has opened two new locations!

My girlfriend had altitude sickness at the time, and the sister at the front desk helped her get some relief medicine. She was very enthusiastic and gentle, and provided us with a lot of useful and convenient suggestions.

SShinicheeLocation was at the foot of the hill, but getting everywhere is convenient as it’s either within walking distance or just a cab away. Owners were passionate about the whole setup of the hotel, and the wood they select is well thought. The quality of the wood is apparent, which made both the common areas and room smell fantastic. When we faced difficulty operating the shower at night, the owner assisted us promptly. Suggest to get advice from owner on how to operate the shower if you’re like us; unable to operate simply mechanisms. 😅 Breakfast was great, and they even suggested potential places for us to visit in our future trips. 10/10 wonderful place

However, being right next to the road made it incredibly noisy, and since the hotel was fully booked on the weekend, we couldn't switch rooms. The facilities were relatively new but very basic. I haven't stayed at Hanting before, but for a well-known chain brand, and one of the few in Shuangqiao Valley, I was surprised they didn't even provide lotion.

SSampeakThe boss is very enthusiastic. Both rooms are great. The room design is great. Especially the cooking skills of the sister are great. We are very satisfied with the two meals she made for us. They are clean and sanitary, the ingredients are fresh, and the taste is great! I just hope that the French windows will be cleaned in time after the rain. AAnonymous UserThe hotel was very comfortable, clean, and the views from the windows were breathtaking. However, what truly earned this five-star review was the owner's hospitality and kindness. When we had trouble finding a taxi from Chengdu to Siguniang due to the distance and language barrier, the owner quickly and patiently helped us book one. Without his help, our trip would have been thwarted. Thank you so much! You made us feel right at home.

GGuest UserThe location is great, across from the Changpinggou Tourist Service Center. The room has a mountain view, but there's construction going on right in front. This newly built B&B is spacious and clean, with an elevator. You can also eat in the lobby on the first floor, which is quite convenient. The owner is also very welcoming.
