GGuest UserI rarely write reviews, but this was a very comfortable stay. The room was spacious and clean, with a beautiful view right outside the window. This guesthouse in Shuangqiao Valley is a real gem. The owner, a fellow Chongqing native, was incredibly warm and attentive. The food at the hotel was delicious, with fresh ingredients. You definitely have to try the yak meat and mushroom hotpot!

GGuest UserCame here on May Day, the hotel environment is good, very suitable for this price. My girlfriend had altitude sickness at the time, and the sister at the front desk helped her get some relief medicine. She was very enthusiastic and gentle, and provided us with a lot of useful and convenient suggestions.

SShinicheeLocation was at the foot of the hill, but getting everywhere is convenient as it’s either within walking distance or just a cab away. Owners were passionate about the whole setup of the hotel, and the wood they select is well thought. The quality of the wood is apparent, which made both the common areas and room smell fantastic. When we faced difficulty operating the shower at night, the owner assisted us promptly. Suggest to get advice from owner on how to operate the shower if you’re like us; unable to operate simply mechanisms. 😅 Breakfast was great, and they even suggested potential places for us to visit in our future trips. 10/10 wonderful place

GGuest UserThe location is 11 km. from Changpinggou. We took a taxi back to the hostel at 130 RMB. That was a rip. We did not tell the owner to arrange transportation in advance otherwise it would have been cheaper. The owner is very nice. He sent us to Shuangqiaogou and picked us up free of charge. He arranged a transportation for us to Bipenggou at only 120-130 RMB per person (not remember the exact fare). The room was very new, very clean, and spacious. We enjoyed our stay so much. The owner does not speak English but he tried to help. If you like quiet and peaceful hostel, I recommend this hostel.

CCiervoI had a wonderful stay at this apartment, which is perfect for families or groups of friends. The property features multiple comfortable bedrooms, including one with two large beds, beautiful floral wall art, and custom pillows that add a stylish, personalized touch. There is also a smaller, cozy bedroom that feels like a private nest. The entire place is air-conditioned, keeping it cool and comfortable after a long day of exploring. The living area is incredibly spacious, highlighted by a modern ring chandelier, a comfortable sofa, and a dining table. For those who love to cook, the separate kitchen is a major plus—it is equipped with a stove, exhaust hood, refrigerator, and microwave. The bathroom setup is also very practical, featuring a modern sink with an LED-lit mirror on the outside, and a clean toilet and refreshing rainfall shower inside. The location is unbeatable, with great restaurants and a Lawson convenience store right outside. It is very close to Chunxi Road, and calling a DiDi is fast and seamless. I highly recommend this place for its excellent comfort, amazing amenities, and top-notch convenience!

AAnonymous UserThe hotel was very comfortable, clean, and the views from the windows were breathtaking. However, what truly earned this five-star review was the owner's hospitality and kindness. When we had trouble finding a taxi from Chengdu to Siguniang due to the distance and language barrier, the owner quickly and patiently helped us book one. Without his help, our trip would have been thwarted. Thank you so much! You made us feel right at home.

MM470721****I was really happy with the hotel I chose for this trip! The location is super convenient, right near the scenic area, just a few minutes' walk to the attractions, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was super soft, and the bathroom had no strange smells. You can tell the hotel pays attention to details. The front desk service was incredibly warm and welcoming; when I checked in, they proactively recommended local delicacies and even helped me plan my sightseeing route. The breakfast had a great variety, and I especially recommend the freshly made noodles – they tasted just as good as a local restaurant. Excellent value for money. I'll definitely stay here again next time.

GGuest UserI stayed in the dorms at Xidu Hostel in Siguniang. The location is decent, fairly central, slightly uphill but very close to the stairs leading down to the main street, with shops and restaurants nearby. About a 10–15 minute walk to the taxi junction, and the entrance to Changping Valley. The dorms were basic but had a good atmosphere, and the staff were friendly. The common area is inviting and great for meeting people. The shower could be cleaner (some hair left behind) and there are no towels provided, only small disposable face-towel size ones, which is a bit inconvenient. Overall, a friendly and enjoyable place to stay

GGuest UserThe location is great, across from the Changpinggou Tourist Service Center. The room has a mountain view, but there's construction going on right in front. This newly built B&B is spacious and clean, with an elevator. You can also eat in the lobby on the first floor, which is quite convenient. The owner is also very welcoming.
