Amazing
JJu@auThe hotel is located in the centre of the old city, just a few minutes from Oslo Central Station and only about three minutes from the Oslo Opera House, making it very convenient for visitors. I booked for three people, and we were given a spacious and lovely family room consisting of two separate rooms. The included breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of delicious options. The dinner included was a light dinner. The whole day free coffee and the afternoon snack were very thoughtful. The only downside was that the bathroom felt a bit dated, but hopefully the ongoing renovations will address this.

GGuest UserI had a fantastic time at Clarion Hotel: The Hub in Oslo. The rooms were large, clean, and quiet. I was on the 12th floor and navigating around the hotel was easy. Everything from check-in, to using facilities, to getting around the city was made better by staying here. The hotel has a small pool, two gym areas, and two saunas on the basement floor which were all great to use. The facilities were clean and modern. Even though the facilities are on the smaller side, it was never too busy that you couldn't use them. I used the gym, pool, and sauna every day, at different times of the day, and it was never too crowded. Finally, this hotel has one of the most incredible breakfast buffets I've ever experienced. The food is SO good and I'm so grateful that there were options for both meat eaters and vegans too. Overall a 10/10 experience.

GGuest UserA beautiful room but experienced a number of disappointments. Hotel guests must pay a supplement daily charge to use the swimming pools AND book at designated time slot. I have NEVER experienced this at any hotel anywhere in the world. I was in a premium room, but this policy applies to all guests, which I think is awful. It was also impossible to get a spa appointment during my stay. Zero preference given to hotel guests. I strongly suggest you book spa treatments at least a week in advance of your arrival. Also, there is no turndown service, unusual for a highly priced 5* hotel. Housekeeping also finishes very early, or isn’t interested in guests who don’t align with their schedule. I had to work in my room but left at 2:45pm and it was not cleaned despite signalling the room needed making up. The reception team were polite, but chaotic. Generally, the hotel restaurants seem more focused on catering to outside guests, which is a shame.

GGuest UserThis is an exceptional hotel for quality and service. We were able to check in early to a spacious room with all the extras, hair dryer, mini bar, snacks, iron facilities and drinks tray. Great comfy beds and bathroom facilities. The car park is underground accessible from the rear of the hotel and is secure with a lift to directly within the hotel The breakfast is vast and great quality with the chefs regularly doing quality control of the food and dining staff efficiently clearing tables. We ate in the restaurant and it was good quality. I must mention the young man who served us as his customer service was exceptional not to mention his cocktail mixing skills! Nothing was too much trouble. The reception staff were really helpful in helping us with the public transport and although the hotel is located on the perimeter of the city both tram and bus stops were located within minutes of the hotel and we’re easy to navigate with the routers app. All the staff we came into contact with were both helpful and professional and were all good ambassadors for the hotel group. I would not hesitate in a heart beat to recommend this hotel, thank you for the service.

KKeris/\I stayed in the Junior Suite at Scandic Byporten and had an excellent experience. The location is perfect — directly connected to Oslo Central Station, which makes traveling around the city and to the airport incredibly convenient. The suite was spacious, modern, and very comfortable. I especially appreciated the large windows with great city views and the cozy seating area, which made the room feel more like a small apartment than a hotel. Everything was spotless and well-maintained. The staff were professional, welcoming, and efficient. Breakfast was another highlight — a wide variety of fresh and tasty options, including local specialties. Overall, my stay was smooth and relaxing. The Junior Suite is definitely worth it if you want extra comfort and space in the heart of Oslo. Highly recommended!

SSL Ng VictorBook this comfort hotel for proximity to central station yet far enough to be away from pedestrians. Near tram and bus stations as well that can bring you all over town. Walking distance to Munch Museum, Bjorvika broadwalk all the way to Akershus Fortress and Castle. Breakfast was GOOD. Same stuff everyday but variety enough to try different things for 3 days.

TTom@JapanLoved this place overall. It is located right in front of the central station, so once you take the train from the airport, you can reach the hotel without a long walk with your suitcase. I truly recommend the breakfast — many Norwegian dishes are amazing.

GGuest UserThe hotel location was ideal and not far from oslo city centre with a metro station across the road and several bus stops very nearby. Most of the staff were very helpful however there was one gentleman who appeared to assist but then no result to his said actions. Additionally the first room he provided he stated would have view. The view was of the hotel from the window. The room he provided was unclean and filthy. We requested a change to our room with his colleague. She was very helpful and gave us a great room very clean room with a view of the river, but only thing is we had no phone in the room. We requested one but was told one would not available until later on the week. This was not beneficial as we were leaving. The amenities were ok however the hotel had direct access to mini shopping mall which had some lovely coffee shops and general convenience stores, which was great. Therefore we did not eat at the hotel. Overall apart from the above issues it was a pleasant stay and we extended it by a day which was a smooth process and we was able to stay in the same second room.

GGuest UserGreat location. The breakfast buffet had a big variety of food and I really enjoyed it. The lounge was cozy and staff was really nice. However, the room is not worth the price I paid for. The room is small with the sink and mirror facing the bed. It is impractical to have the sink in the main room, and to have the mirror facing the bed, which has bad spritual meaning. Toothbrushes are not included, and there is no hair conditioner. There is also no air conditioning, but it is okay since Oslo is a cold city. There are several bugs in the corner of the room, and stains could be seen everywhere. The shower is insanely small, which is not friendly for people with bigger body types. There is also no physical lock in the door of the rooms. Overall, everything about the hotel is nice except the room.

SStef T.I have told myself to manage my expectation as it’s 3-star hotel after all. But it’s Norway so I am a bit more critical than if it were hotels in other countries. The location is ok, not too much in the city centre but close enough to work to touristic places. The service of staff is really hit and miss: some staff are really good and helpful. I told one of the staff in the morning that I wanted my room to be vacuumed as it was not cleaned properly (if at all) when I checked in the previous day. I would expect an apology but the staff just shrug and said ok. The breakfast is the savour of their 3-star. Plenty of choices, well decorated restaurant, staff are efficient in refilling food and drinks. The room is a standard 3-star, the balcony is a bonus. Overall it’s acceptable with this price in Oslo.
