The room was small but comfortable, and hot water was available from the coffee machine near the front desk. The front desk service was excellent. Check-in was not until 3:00 PM, so I left my luggage and went out to explore. Overall, it was a great value."

JJu@auThe hotel is located in the centre of the old city, just a few minutes from Oslo Central Station and only about three minutes from the Oslo Opera House, making it very convenient for visitors. I booked for three people, and we were given a spacious and lovely family room consisting of two separate rooms. The included breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of delicious options. The dinner included was a light dinner. The whole day free coffee and the afternoon snack were very thoughtful. The only downside was that the bathroom felt a bit dated, but hopefully the ongoing renovations will address this.

GGuest UserLocation is convenient, about 10 mins walk from Oslo S. although it is in the direction nearer to the office buildings and away from the attractions.
Breakfast spread is amazing and tastes good. Room and bathroom are spacious, bed is soft and comfortable.
The only drawback is the amenities. There is no toothbrush provided, and I find the shampoo, conditioner, and hand wash a little too mild / diluted, would have preferred it to be thicker and foamier. Body soap is ok.

GGuest UserA beautiful room but experienced a number of disappointments.
Hotel guests must pay a supplement daily charge to use the swimming pools AND book at designated time slot. I have NEVER experienced this at any hotel anywhere in the world. I was in a premium room, but this policy applies to all guests, which I think is awful. It was also impossible to get a spa appointment during my stay. Zero preference given to hotel guests. I strongly suggest you book spa treatments at least a week in advance of your arrival. Also, there is no turndown service, unusual for a highly priced 5* hotel. Housekeeping also finishes very early, or isn’t interested in guests who don’t align with their schedule. I had to work in my room but left at 2:45pm and it was not cleaned despite signalling the room needed making up. The reception team were polite, but chaotic. Generally, the hotel restaurants seem more focused on catering to outside guests, which is a shame.

Yyn_cTruly appreciate the option for early check in at a small fee, especially after taking a night train and arriving in Oslo way too early for the day. Hotel is perfectly located beside the central train station, and it only takes 5min to walk to and fro each other, via the connected mall. That definitely helps when Storm Amy hit. The room was clean and quiet, with basic amenities. Breakfast was alright - it did definitely get too crowded late in the morning. Overall, would highly recommend.

GGuest UserThis is an exceptional hotel for quality and service. We were able to check in early to a spacious room with all the extras, hair dryer, mini bar, snacks, iron facilities and drinks tray. Great comfy beds and bathroom facilities.
The car park is underground accessible from the rear of the hotel and is secure with a lift to directly within the hotel
The breakfast is vast and great quality with the chefs regularly doing quality control of the food and dining staff efficiently clearing tables.
We ate in the restaurant and it was good quality. I must mention the young man who served us as his customer service was exceptional not to mention his cocktail mixing skills! Nothing was too much trouble.
The reception staff were really helpful in helping us with the public transport and although the hotel is located on the perimeter of the city both tram and bus stops were located within minutes of the hotel and we’re easy to navigate with the routers app.
All the staff we came into contact with were both helpful and professional and were all good ambassadors for the hotel group.
I would not hesitate in a heart beat to recommend this hotel, thank you for the service.

AAnonymous UserClean and cozy hotel to stay in Oslo! Right in the center of most attractions, very close to the central station too. The breakfast spread was good, if I could wish for more.. it's gonna be the coffee though, as they only have brewed coffee which tastes a bit bland. Also, during our stay, one of the elevators was under renovation so we only had one small elevator that could get very busy during morning rush hoursm. But overall, great stay!

During the stay, I refused to clean the room. The reason given by the front desk was that I did not check out and check in before 12 noon. GGuest UserTruly one of the best hotel stays I have ever experienced. The hotel staff went above and beyond to ensure we were well accommodated and comfortable throughout. When we arrived at the hotel it was 11AM, so I mentioned to the front desk staff that I know it was far too early for us to receive our room (check in is typically at 3PM) and that we would like to simply drop off our bags. Without any special requests, the front desk staff immediately prepared our room keys of us to check in right away, which was hugely appreciated since we had caught a very early morning flight in. We loved the room. It was very comfortable for the 3 of us, although a bit tight but that's what we expected for hotel rooms in Europe. The bathroom was well fitted and had all the basic toiletries required (shampoo, body wash, hand soap), however we hoped to have body lotion as well, so we asked housekeeping whether any was available and they immediately brought 3 LARGE bottles for each of us to use. I have never seen such massive toiletries and in such generous quantities supplied at any hotel before, which again made us feel very well taken care of. Finally on our check out day our flight was not until 6PM and since checkout is typically at 11AM I requested for just a 1 hr extension. Although they were very busy for it being the beginning of summer holidays, without any hesitation the front desk staff extended our checkout time to 3PM. I was once again very pleasantly surprised and appreciative. My last note is to touch on the complimentary tea and coffee always available in the lobby, as well as the fabulous buffet breakfast they served. Cannot recommend this hotel enough!
