Great
GGuest UserVery good. The guy at the front desk upgraded us to a room with a sea view balcony. It was really great. The swimming pool was also very good. The breakfast was also very rich. The room was not big but had all the facilities. The only downside was that there was no free water in the room.
GGuest UserThe hotel could not be in a better location with views of Etna, the town of Taormina and the sea. I had a single room. It was very small and only had a partial view which was a bit disappointing but I didn't pay much. The pool was shut which was a shame as although it is February it was warm and I would have liked a swim. I didn't eat at the hotel but did try to have a drink in the bar. Sat for around 15 minutes with no service so gave up. It was a shame as they had live piano music. I am not sure if service is better if you paid more or it is a little indifferent at the best of times. It is out of season so the hotel was not busy. Still fabulous destination and the hotel has a lot of history so definitely worth a visit.

AAntonioOverlooking the Ionian Sea, the Grand Hotel San Pietro is a beautiful hotel with landscaped gardens and excellent amenities. The staff are extremely courteous and helpful and the rooms are well appointed and very comfortable.
Located within a 10-15 minute walk of the shopping and sightseeing area of Taormina, makes this 5 Star hotel an excellent choice.
The staff, as mentioned, are very courteous and helpful - and it is quite easy to become friends with them. Infact, Christian and Loretta (who work in the bar area during the evenings) are 2 staff members that I highly commend - not only for their service but for the exceptional time we spent with them.
This hotel is highly recommended and I certainly look forward to returning in the not too distant future.
GGuest UserHotel is not new But it’s in a very good location 5 min walk from main attractions, service is also good, enjoyed breakfast on the terrace with sea view. Stayed in room with sea view, spacious and bright. Only cleanliness should be improved
CChristina PabloWe had a last minute change with my husband and my father (52, and 83) to Taormina and so it was a challenge with very little prep time where to stay in a vertical place with my elderly father who is in good shape but challenged by long walks, inclines and extreme heat. We did it all-- close to the bus station (4 minutes), Corso Umberto (8 minutes), the Antico Teatrico and the view cannot be beat. There's souvenir shops and a mini mart within 4 minutes walk and the cable car is also only 5 minutes away. My husband and I enjoyed the pool and the views. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast the next morning before leaving. No one could be more helpful or nicer in this hotel.
CONS: It's a steep driveway to climb up and down for the elderly. Watching my dad in either direction was a little dicey and with his blood thinners I did not want him to take a spill.
PROS: Everything else.
GGuest UserTaormina is the correct way to open Sicily. If Italy can choose a city for leisure and vacation, it must be Taormina 👍 This town that was popular due to the ”White Lotus Resort” has satisfied all my imagination. Whether it is sea view or street view, it is impossible to stop. Palermo has set the European star, Taormina has also set the European star, I have to say that the choice is too correct! The hotel located on the cliff is beautiful to aphasia, the room has a separate balcony, standing on the balcony overlooking the Mediterranean and the pool really feels that the boat and car are exhausted. Breakfast continues the richness of Eurostar, the fruit is very sweet, and there are delicious smoothies. It is too pleasant to eat breakfast and watch the pigeons on the terrace. The only bug is that the hotel hair dryer is too old. I feel that this is a common problem in European hotels. Please sponsor Dyson. Hahaha 😄 PS: The hotel is very close to the April 9th Square and the ancient Greek Theatre. The town is particularly good to visit, and there are various foods. Taormina is definitely the best city in Nanyi!
AAnonymous UserThe hotel is in a good location, the overall room size is reasonable, tidy, the breakfast is also good, , but the price is not very attractive. The hotel staff was not very polite. We were in a hurry when checking out, but the staff preferred to continue chatting with other customers rather than taking our check-out key. It was not until I expressed many times that I really had to catch the bus that the staff reluctantly took my key.
GGuest UserExcellent location, facing Isola Bella attractions. There is a bus directly to €1.90/person at the entrance of Taormina. There are also coaches in other cities passing by the hotel. The breakfast environment is good.
