Hotels in Taormina with sea view​

"Great location. Decent rooms. But, mediocre service. They didn’t have stable internet on the second day of our stay for which I had to reschedule my work calls till the next day. When I requested for a late check out next day so that I could attend my work calls, they said I’ll have to pay 50 euros for it. They don’t have a front desk so when we got there we realised the place had lockboxes and we didn’t receive any information about that either. We had to contact them upon arrival and then they gave us the info."

"The hotel is on the mountain, beautiful view. But it needs to be understood that this is not a beach hotel. Formally there is an exit to the beach from the pool, but it is very cool and in the heat to rise from the sea it is a occupation only for physically trained people. And it is wild. On the sea beach you need to drive 5 minutes Maya Beach, parking + two lying + a umbrella 35 euros a day. Towels are yours. Breakfast was delicious, but all 4 days were the same. The hotel itself is clean and comfortable. Far from civilization , there is one on the mountain. There are lots of parking spaces. There is a paid transfer to Taormina. Dinner for 35 euros is normal, but without delight. In the evening there is a show program."

"First of all, I don't know why this hotel has such a high rating. First, this hotel is not a hotel in the strict sense, and there is no 24-hour front desk (which caused us a lot of inconvenience later) Second, we booked the most expensive room type in this hotel, but it is very far from the sea and the volcano! It is on the mountain! It is very inconvenient to go to the beach or any check-in point, and it takes a long time to drive a winding mountain road to get there! In our opinion, the sea view and volcano view are completely gimmicks. Third, there was a sudden power outage at 11 o'clock in the evening. We didn't have time to wash up, and we called the staff on WhatsApp and sent messages for a long time without receiving a reply! It was only after 2 hours, at more than 1 o'clock in the morning, that we received a reply, and it was after the water and electricity were restored to normal. We waited for a long time in vain, and all our electronic devices needed electricity, but unfortunately we spent this night in a very worried and bad mood, which undoubtedly affected the mood of the trip. Although the hotel can check in early and provide champagne service upon request, I don't think this is what the staff let us recall as a ”benefit” on WhatsApp. The power outage and water outage are not your fault, but I think your attitude is not very sincere, just superficial. No matter what you say, you should know it in your heart. To be honest, I didn't see the hotel's symbolic compensation for such a long power outage, because it really affected our mood at the time. But anyway, this hotel is not recommended. If you have a car and you don't have high requirements for sea views and volcano views, if you don't want to go to the beach and can get there quickly, you can book this hotel."
