Taormina Park Hotel

On arrival the hotel said that there was a problem with our room and we were being moved to a different hotel. They said that they were moving us to Giardini naxos to another one of their hotels. Lucky I knew Giardini Naxos was a few miles away and not in Taormina, a minimum 30 euros in taxi. I explain that this would spoil our holiday as the reason for coming to Sicily was to say in Taormina. He shock his head in frustration and walked off he started to make a phone call and past the phone over to me.it was their central reservations team the man on the phone said you have to move hotel. He said if i still wanted to visit Taormina they would pay for a taxis to visit. I explained I didn’t wannt to just visit, it was where we wanted to be and if I moved it would spoil my holiday. I said I understand that they had a problem with our room and these things happen. However I would prefer to say in Taormina and would it be possible to book me in to a different hotel in Taormina. He said he would check and come back to me in 5 minutes. While I waited I also checked there was lots of other hotels of similar standard and the same price as I booked. In 5 minutes I was had handed the phone and the gentleman from the reservations team said he had checked and there was no other hotels available in Taormina. As i knew was not true I said I would like to talk to manager and handed the phone back to the reception. At which point the man at reception shock his head and give me a room. At no point did anyone say sorry that my room was not ready. They didn’t make us feel welcome in fact they made us free unwelcomed and unwanted. They didn’t explain the hotel or the area. He just give me a key and shock his head to say go away. I have never felt so unwelcomed and I payed for the privilege. If you have the choice to book a different holes in Taormina I would do so and not take the risk of booking this hotel. One good thing on the day of exit it was a different person on reception and she was very friendly and helpful. 1 out 10

Hotel with an amazing view! A had a room with sea view and balcony. There is an amazing view to the Ionic sea and Etna from the balcony. The hotel also have a pool and spa zone. A very good place to relax!

Incredible sea views from room’s balcony, pool and breakfast restaurant. Room a little dated with sticky floors, just wear bedroom slippers. Toilet is clean. Superb location!! Hotel was 3 mins walk to bus stop that takes you to Giardini train station. And 5 mins walk to the heart of town. Try Bam Bar’s granita & have dinner after sundown at any of the restaurants nearby.

Amazing accomodation. Got an upgrade to a water facing room & i can't describe the incredible view. The location is great, close to the main bus stop, shops & restarants. Pool was a little chilly (late Sept). Room had a nice bathroom and bed were nice & firm.

The most amazing experience ever.  The view from our balcony - we stayed on the 4th floor and had the most magnificent view of the sea, the whole Taormina city.  Glorious during the day and spectacular during the night.  The breakfast was beyond expectations. There was so much food, lots of different types of bread. Croissants, egg and bacon, fresh cold meats, cereals, different coffee machines , fruit and on and on.  It was located at the top and we caught a bus for 2euros to the hotel. It was a 5 mins walk to the main hub. Perfect!!!! The pool was amazing. The view was something out of a movie with its picturesque background.  The verandah nearby had tables where you could enjoy a drink and relax.  O really the rooms and facilities were beyond expectations and we would have liked to have stayed longer but we had already booked our other hotels in another city.  5++++ experience that we will never forget.

It's definitely dated but very clean, very relaxing and just enough away from the crowds that it was super enjoyable. The staff were so helpful and accommodating, and had parking which is so rare in taormina. Pool was terrific, no competing for lounge chairs. Room was a great size and compared to other prices, was very good value.
