We had such a warm and memorable stay as a mum travelling with my adult daughter, all thanks to our wonderful host, Mr Doldam and his lovely wife, Sue. Communication was so easy as they speak English well, and they thoughtfully shared helpful tips on places to visit around Jeju, which made our trip even more enjoyable. We accidentally stayed out past 9pm and missed our bus, and our host kindly came to pick us up from the village stop about 10 minutes away—something we truly appreciated. They also helped send us off to the bus stop for our airport transfer, making everything feel smooth and well taken care of. Breakfast was a real treat too—simple and wholesome, especially the homemade bread and tangerine jam 🍊 It truly felt like being welcomed into a home, not just a place to stay. Thank you!

The interior design, done by a French company, features champagne gold, ultramarine, and creamy white tones. This top-tier resort landmark was built by the Samsung family in 1990. Hotel and Nearby Attractions Guide: 📍Two attractions: Jusangjeolli Cliff and the Teddy Bear Museum. Next to the museum, there's a Starbucks with 'I love you' written in Korean on the floor tiles. 😋Hallasan hairtail fish – highly recommended in reviews, absolutely delicious! Grilled, fried, and braised hairtail are all options. 🏨Inside the Hotel Every corner offers an elegant and beautiful backdrop, perfect for a trip with mom. 🏊🏻♀️Heated pool with a pool party and live band from 8-10 PM. 😋Dinner can also be enjoyed at the poolside bar, where you can listen to English party songs. Prices are around 200-300 per dish, and portions are generous. 🥐Breakfast can be delivered to your room, offsetting the buffet voucher. I chose the American breakfast: besides toast and muffins, croissants and Danish pastries were also available, delivered within half an hour. The buffet breakfast can also be exchanged for Chinese cuisine. 🌊Olle walking path by the sea + observatory: You can enjoy ocean views right from the hotel, no need to rush to popular cafes. 🛏I booked a sea-view room; there was no strange smell. Toothbrushes and toothpaste are not provided. The scented toiletries are exquisite, worth 200 per bottle, and include body lotion and conditioner. 💁🏻♀️Top-notch service. They offer turndown service in the evening, and room service is very responsive.

Overall, it was a fantastic experience. The hotel's sea view is absolutely stunning; waking up to the ocean and the hotel pool every day was incredibly relaxing! It really maximized the vacation vibe. The walk to the beach offers beautiful scenery, but it's a bit of a trek. Service was generally satisfactory, though there was a minor hiccup when leaving. I had pre-booked the airport shuttle for the next day, and when I mentioned to the staff at the entrance that I had a reservation for the airport bus, they directed me to the public airport shuttle that you have to pay for, instead of the hotel's complimentary shuttle to the airport 🙃 A bit frustrating.

Spent 3 nights at this lovely hotel in the Dongmun area in Jeju. It is an established hotel at a convenient location. The airport limousine makes its stop there. You can have your dinner there at affordable rates. A special shout out to one of the staff (a middle aged bespectacled guy who spoke excellent English) helped to arrange for a cab from Hallasan trail back to the hotel as we missed the last bus back to the city. Thank you so much for your hospitality and kindness.

The hotel is very quiet, the room is clean, the sea can be seen, and the sights are convenient. It is especially worth mentioning that the boss is very friendly, tell us in detail how to get to the next attraction or hotel, and even send us to a nearby restaurant for dinner. Thank you very much. The hotel also received a group of Chinese friends who stayed for the second time. It’s really good. I will come to Jeju Island next time and I will recommend friends.

A very pleasant hotel, the room was clean, and the view from the hotel was beautiful. The staff at the front desk were kind. However, starting from 8 AM, staff were noisy in the hallway, dragging carts back and forth and talking loudly, even though there were still guests in their rooms. It's necessary to either improve the soundproofing or ask staff to speak more quietly, as it's unpleasant when you're on vacation and want to sleep but hear such noises. I liked that the bus stop was nearby and that it was possible to leave luggage at the neighboring hotel if needed.

The hotel was clean and the owner was friendly. The room was definitely warm when I entered it. Because the boiler was turned off at 2 a.m. When I woke up in the morning, the chilly air My husband and child caught a cold... It was a snowy day... I'm upset.

The main reason we picked this hotel was for the sunrise! It didn’t disappoint although it gt blocked from our balcony , just go to the open space and there can view without any obstructions. It’s peaceful and comfortable. Facing the ocean room with balcony is really nice choice! Free parking available. Gt microwave to use. Nearby can walk to minimart. Can pay additional for Korean style buffet bfast but the spread is a little disappointing for the price. Minutes away frm the sunrise peak. It’s convenient if have car. 1 hour plus away from city. Will stay again.

This resort is great, the environment is lovely, and there are various styles to choose from. The Korean-style villa is very spacious, and the underfloor heating keeps it toasty warm. The Royal Suite has a private outdoor hot spring, which is quite comfortable, but it takes a long time to fill up. There aren't many staff at the hotel, so you'll have to carry your own luggage. However, the minibar in the room is complimentary and restocked regularly. I recommend avoiding rooms near the restaurant, as they play music at 6 PM, which isn't ideal for light sleepers. Everything else is good though! 👍

Staying at ShinShin Hotel Jeju Ocean and honestly… location is 💯 Just minutes away from iconic spots like Eodolgae Rock, Cheonjiyeon Waterfall, scenic trails, and the lively Jeju Olle Market—everything is so accessible. The food? Surprisingly good. The room? Huge, spotless linens, and a wow factor with a massive smart TV—perfect for Netflix & YouTube nights after long walks. Comfortable, clean, convenient… definitely a great base for exploring Jeju 🖤🌊
