"Super hotel. Wonderfull views and spacious rooms (we booked king with pier and ocean view). Coffee and hot water available 24/7. Breakfast is good with eggs, sausages, hot potato, waffles, fruits, etc. The hotel also offers free water in aluminum bottles. There are kettle and coffee maker in the room. They also offer evening cookies which are very tasty.
In general - very good. It is quite pricey (keep in mind the resort fee that is not always obvious at booking), but if you are ready to pay for comfort you can consider it reasonable."

Great
GGuest UserFull score hotel! The aunt at the front desk was very friendly. Seeing that we were foreigners, we slowly explained to us, gave us a map to circle the place to eat, and reminded us that Highway 1 was going around in the road. The hotel is warmly decorated in the United States and breakfast is delivered to the room. The perfect hotel for a trip to the West!
YYANOn the 1st road, I stayed in Cumbria for one night. It is a street of various hotels. This is a warm, two-row, face-to-face room with only one floor. There are two small rest pavilions in the middle of the yard, and there are open air in the middle. The fireplace was cold at the end of May, and there was a fireplace in the room, which was comfortable to open at night. Breakfast was chosen at check-in. The next morning, I used the basket to hang at the door. There were not many things but enough to eat. The big bed in the room is also very big, and the car is parked in the yard for free. There is a walking boardwalk opposite the hotel that is very close to the beach. The nearby restaurant has had dinner and come back to see the sunset at the beach. The nearby restaurant recommended by the hotel is very good, but if you feel a bit cold, don't be afraid to wait for it. Don't sit in the open air. Let's feel the temperature of the trembling. The old beauty wears shorts and short sleeves.
GGuest UserIt's a kind of motel. If you planning to stay here, remember to prepare for drinking water. Tap water is not drinkable, but hotel doesn't provide water dispenser ( instead only ice dispenser, which I think stupid for the weather there is cold), and even no bottled water at all in the room, also no water kettle. Shops are quiet far, have to drive, and closed a bit early. So if you came late, no water, it might be a big problem. The room and bed is quite ok though.
KKashFrom the moment we arrived at the Masterpiece Hotel, we knew we were in for a treat. Our room boasted a stunning view, and it was the perfect backdrop for relaxing after a day of exploring Morro Bay. The customer support was top-notch, with friendly and helpful staff always willing to go the extra mile.
Speaking of treats, the breakfast was a delightful surprise. Fresh pastries, yogurt, fruit, and the amazing make-your-own waffle station had us fueled up and ready to take on the day. The waffles were truly a highlight - fluffy, crispy, and customizable with an array of toppings. It was a fun and delicious way to start the morning.
Beyond the view, breakfast, and customer service, the overall experience at the Masterpiece Hotel was awesome. The room was clean and comfortable, the public spaces were inviting, and the location was perfect for walking to restaurants, shops, and the beach. We truly felt we were staying in a masterpiece itself! If you're looking for a beautiful and comfortable place to stay in Morro Bay, look no further than the Masterpiece Hotel. We highly recommend it and can't wait to return!
GGuest UserThe hotel is very good overall, the room is clean and tidy, the breakfast is also good, there are supermarkets and restaurants next to the hotel, which is also very convenient. I will choose it next time.
GGuest UserBreakfast is OK, there is no elevator in some places in the room, it is not very convenient. Checked in for an hour and didn't know what went wrong. Should not come back again
AAnonymous User1. Service experience: caring and at home
From the moment I stepped into the hotel lobby, the front desk staff made me feel at home with their warm smiles and efficient and professional services. When checking in, the staff not only completed the formalities quickly, but also took the initiative to introduce the hotel facilities and surrounding attractions, and even kindly reminded me of weather changes and traffic routes. The room service responded quickly, and whether it was demand consultation or item replenishment, it could be solved in the first time, reflecting the ”meticulous” service concept.
2. Room facilities: details highlight quality
The room design combines practicality and aesthetics, with a reasonable layout and warm and elegant. The bedding is soft and comfortable, and it feels like being wrapped in clouds after lying down, and you can sleep well all night. The bathroom facilities are advanced, the hot water supply is stable, the toiletries are of high quality, and the light fragrance is relaxing. Intelligent equipment is a highlight, such as the ability to control lights, air conditioning and curtains through a tablet, which is convenient and modern. In addition, sufficient power sockets and high-speed WiFi perfectly meet business and leisure needs.
3. Hygiene: impeccable cleanliness
GGuest UserRoom was nice with two solid beds, microwave, small fridge, and 40-inch television. Shower was small with weak water pressure. Motel is literally built right where the beach starts. ”Ocean view room” was not correct unless you count standing at your open doorway and staring over the parking lot towards the ocean. Also the windows were storm windows and would not open to allow for the sound and smell of the ocean. At $300 a night it is a bit overpriced. Room could use a tiny sitting table with a chair or two. Many restaurants within easy few minutes walk. A few shops to explore but not much else to offer for night life.
GGuest UserSince we started late at the previous station, it was already 10:30 in the evening when we arrived. The road was very dark. It was easy to find the location with the navigation. There were very eye-catching signs. It was best not to drive there at night. There are many hotels nearby. But this place is relatively quiet and secluded as a whole, but it still makes us feel safe. The instructions given to us later say that the latest check-in time is 11:00 in the evening. I feel that we can't check in later. Friends who come pay attention to the time.
Parking is very convenient, many parking spaces, there is no breakfast, there is not much to eat nearby, we left for a long time to find a small town to buy food
Although it is August, it was too cold when we arrived. The mobile phone showed that it was 12 degrees at night. Fortunately, there was heating. It was the first time to turn on the heating in August.
WWEIThe location is good on the side of Highway 1. The surrounding restaurants are convenient, parking is also convenient, and there is an outdoor swimming pool, which is highly praised!
