This is a wonderful hotel to stay at if you are after something located more central to the old town area, there are lots of shops and restaurants nearby, and the old street is just 2km walk away. The hotel staff were really helpful and friendly, the service was excellent and room was very nicely decorated with all the essential amenities. My wife and I had a really comfortable stay and we loved the design of the hotel, it is really thoughtful and well done. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to visit Beihai, the local taxi is super easy to use to get around and we had a really nice dinner at the Vietnamese restaurant 河内街 the flavours were really good and felt like an authentic meal you could get at Hanoi and the prices were really reasonable. Also the sunset view from the silver beach銀灘 is really lovely, you can also get some BBQ by the beach if you are in the mood.

I have stayed in many hotels in Beihai many times. This is the second time I have stayed in Beihai. I am very satisfied. The homestay is directly opposite the underwater world. The environment is good and the transportation is convenient. There are many electric cars downstairs. It is convenient to go anywhere. The room is oversized. The room faces the sea. You can also see the sunset and the air is good. It is very cool to open the window, the air conditioner does not need to be turned on, there is a kitchen to cook, just like living at home, very comfortable, relax, next time I go to Beihai to live here. Before I booked the room, I saw that some customers gave bad reviews. They were all picking stones in eggs. I deliberately looked for cockroaches. The room was big and clean. I was not satisfied. I personally felt that some people would be better to live in the presidential suite.

The hotel environment is very good, the decoration is simple and stylish, we want to live on the second floor, the front desk helped us upgrade the room for free. The bathroom is a three-separated design. It is the type I like. It is very close to the Golden Beach. It is only a few hundred meters away. It is convenient to take the children to swim in the water and play in the sand. It is very convenient to eat and drink around. I originally booked it for one night. The environment and service are good, especially the environment is very comfortable and cozy, the room is also clean and spacious, but the afternoon tea is a little bit not grand enough, there is no cake to eat after 3 o'clock, I hope this will be more sufficient. The swimming pool is large, deep, shallow, and for children, meeting the needs of all ages, and the baby doesn't want to leave. The inn is located in the villa area of Yintan Resort, separated from the beach by a road, surrounded by commercial facilities, and the location is very good. The inn has three floors, the room size is moderate, and the family of three is very comfortable. The room was clean and the big bathtub was very comfortable. The inn has a swimming pool, if you don't want to go to the beach, you can soak in the pool. Suitable for a family holiday.
Several of the inn's brothers are particularly sunny and the service attitude is very warm. Leave a deep impression. I will visit Beihai next time.

Because my family came back to visit and needed to stay with them, I chose a B&B run by a local. Sure enough, the surprise and comfort left a deep impression on me and my family! The warmth and elegance of the room, the comfortable green plants in the B&B, the thoughtful and meticulous, professional service and care of the waiters made me enjoy a high-quality accommodation experience! The hotel is in a good location, close to the sea, about 3 minutes away from Silver Beach. We booked this hotel specifically, but the weather was not good. It was cloudy and we couldn't take pictures of the sea. The second-floor platform is beautiful. The table in the room is a bit small. There is no place to put the suitcases for two people, and there is no place to hang towels next to the sink. In addition, the disposable slippers are not of good quality and cannot be worn. The front desk service is good. I left early and they helped me check out of the room. It is not very convenient to eat nearby. There are not many restaurants. We went to Nanning Food Street near the hotel to eat seafood on the first day and were ripped off!

GGuest UserGet this hotel!!! We were supposed to stay for a night and then decide what to do - we ended up staying 3 nights and were very sad to leave.
Every so often when you travel your hotel experience significantly improved your holiday - this was one of those cases! First of all the basics, we were looking for a nice family friendly hotel walking distance from the beach - and this certainly fit that category. The rooms are fine, you could see the sea from the windows, comfortable beds, pretty clean, slippers, plenty of towels, wifi everywhere etc. There was also a small playground for small kids and hammocks (picture) etc which was cool, we also saw mahjong tables, but didn't have the time to play.
The hotel is located near a fairly large field, filled with exotic birds, butterflies and crickets etc. There were also geckos everywhere (love them), but we didn't see any inside the room. There were some mosquitos outside on the terrace (don't love them), but the repellent took care of those and we didn't have any in our rooms. Felt like you were near nature, in a good way.
The kids loved to play on the beach, it's great for sand castles (the hotel had buckets and shovels free of charge) and searching for crabs, fish, shells, sea snails etc... The moms loved it too, especially to walk around and explore during low tide. (the hotel also provided equipment to catch crabs and other sea creatures etc if you wanted to - they also had a service to cook them for you) We especially enjoyed playing under a nearby pier during low tide to avoid getting badly sunburned.
The supermarket across the street sell dozens of single malt whiskys and beer from all over the world (they also have ice cream and other stuff) - and the dads recommend the roof terrace for that after the kids are asleep. (picture)
If you know how to ride a scooter/ebike they rent them across the road too, and it's the best way to explore the island. The small roads (almost devoid of cars) were awesome to drive on, just remember to stay safe.
I don't usually care much about breakfast, but the included breakfast was great! (picture) The kitchen staff was also super laid-back about the whole thing - this whole hotel radiated a very laid back tropical island feel that made you forget you were in China.
However the reason I write this review is because of the owner. (last picture) (I'm not sure if he speaks English though, but I'm sure you'll manage) Super chill guy! Immediately after booking he contacted us to arrange the transport from the boat. He helped us buy tickets for the trip back. He was willing to come and pick us up at any time if we got lost on the island. He had great recommendations about basically everything, and whenever we made plans we were sure to ask for his advice. He was basically always reachable over wechat too.
These are just some of the things that he didn't have to provide, but did (or offered): unlimited cold drinking water, ice, proper glasses, a coffee grinder, buckets, shovels, hats, umbrellas, sunscreen, aloe vera plants, flashlights, mosquito repellent etc etc and it feels like we only scratched the surface. It feels like whenever I asked him for something he always had a solution that exceeded my expectations. Great host!
I've traveled to almost 100 countries and while this wasn't the fanciest hotel I've stayed in by any means, this was one of the most memorable hotel experiences I've ever had. If anyone I know plans to visit this island I will for sure recommend this place.

I would like to mention Lisa who speaks English and was very helpful, providing useful information regarding hotel facilities, Covid test places and places of interest. Big up to Lisa!
The breakfast buffet is okay, but the pastry choice is a bit limited and, generally, it feels that the hotel does not really cater for western guests (mainly Chinese dishes). The buffet lounge is full of light; it is very spacious and facing the seaside, which is great. However, the cleanliness can be improved as the tables and the floor were not cleaned quickly enough, and my table and the floor under it were greasy/dirty.
The facilities are quite varied. The pools, gym, tennis court, steam room were used during my stay and they were in good condition. The steam room takes a long time to heat up though. The staff in the gym/swimming pool does not speak English at all. The table tennis room and some other facilities were under maintanace during our stay, so we did not use them. Overall, the hotel has more recreational facilities than most hotels. Well done!
Regarding the location, the hotel is on the coast, but the sea is not swimmable there, so you can only enjoy the view. The hotels near the main Silver beach (for example, Crowne Plaza) are considerably more expensive (about 500rmb difference), so a 30-min taxi ride there (costs around 30 rmb one way) still makes the Furama hotel a much more economical option. The sea view from the rooms is very nice!
Overall, it was a very pleasant stay and a late checkout was highly appreciated! My rating of the hotel is 4.5.

IIsland Girl AngeleneOh my goodness!!!!!! We had an amazing time here! We went to celebrate out 9th wedding anniversary and I'm glad we chose this place. Upon arrival to the island, our host sent a driver to collect us at the port, and take us to our destination (free of charge). When we got to the villa, I was pleased with the warm greeting we received and the overall surroundings. The place was clean, tranquil and welcoming. I was pleasantly surprised when we were gifted a cake and drinks from our host. However, I was totally blown away wjen I saw our room! The view was everything! When we stepped out onto our private balcony, we had the best view of the beach and surrounding areas. Additionally, I must say that it was a priceless experience to witness the sunrise and high tide from that angle.
The chef was unable to be there because of personal reasons, but our host made sure that we were well taken care of, regarding other dining options on the island and he even recommended a driver to take us to good food joints. The driver turned out to be our chaperone for the entirety of our stay.😂 Breakfast was great and we enjoyed the company of the resident dog (which looks fierce, but is actually very friendly).❤️
Thanks to the caring nature of our hosts, our trip to the island was excellent and my only regret it that we didn't book to stay longer! 😭 Now that I have had this experience, I look forward to coming back to Weizhou Island, and staying at this villa. It was well worth the price!!!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

The hotel is neatly nested within a friendly neighborhood situated within walking distance from shops, restaurants, the main ***** that leads to the sea-view promenade, and two beach entrances. The interior is very stylish, modern, and well-maintained (unlike other international hotels in the area). The swimming pool has a waterfall which is heated and even a see-through canoe (fun!). Everything is clean and staff is extremely helpful. Rooms are spacious, technologically equipped, and absolutely beautiful. Guests have access to the terrace, where, apart from the beautiful view, a washing-drier combo machine is available for guests to use free of charge. Breakfast did not have much variety (only two meals which are switched every day), however it is delicious and when we provided the suggestion for more variety on the second last day of our 9-day stay, the manager ordered some local delicacies for our following breakfast to be delivered especially for us.
Walking around the neighborhood, we shivered at the thought that we could have ended up staying in any of the other hotels in the area, which do not even remotely compare to this one. My partner was absolutely delighted and proud of my taste in the matter.

RRyan1985I didn’t hate this hotel by any means but there were quite a few things that kept me from loving it. First, before we even get to the hotel we should start with beihai itself. I would say there’s no real reason for anyone to visit this place. There’s some good food for sure but it’s a boring, hot, and generally tourist-packed place. IF you do decide you need to visit beihai for whatever reason though I suppose this hotel is fine but there are some things to be aware of. First is that said tourists will be there. They’re super loud, inconsiderate, gawk at foreigners as if you’re from another planet, and just generally unpleasant (even lounging around and smoking in the non-smoking lobby). Next is the pool- photos make it look gorgeous but it’s very shallow, maybe 3 feet, and the view from the pool is a concrete parking lot (doesn’t show that in any of the photos). So basically not a place most people would hang out or swim. My room also felt dusty/musty. Positives- the staff are extremely friendly and helpful.

IIsland Girl AngeleneI extended my stay here because my flight back home was canceled. The entire process was hassle-free and in addition to that, I was gifted a christmas card from the hotel staff.
House keeping came every three days because most workers we sick due to covid and the botel was short staffed. However, supplies like water, soap, etc were alaways available in a self service area for guests on the resident floors and if one needed extra assistance, someone was always availato offer assistance.
My overall stay was wonderful and I hope to return soon!

XXiaohuaxiaobaiThe lady at the front desk saw that we had booked two rooms. In order to be closer, she took the initiative to show a few rooms and upgraded them to two double rooms. The rooms are very large and the interior is also very beautiful. The balcony can be directly touched. The leaves of the grapefruit tree can be used to bask in the sun during the day. The TV network is smooth and the stand can be adjusted at will. It is very comfortable to watch TV. You can rent electric cars in the courtyard, which is very convenient for going to scenic spots. There were also three aloof, skinny cats walking around the yard, addicted to handles. When leaving the store, the lovely girl stood in the courtyard watching her leave, feeling warm~
There are two shortcomings:
1⃣️The floor tiles in the toilet were not cleaned thoroughly enough. There was always a ”fragrance” during the three days of stay... The glass in the bathroom also had thick water stains, which should be the result of not being wiped clean.
2⃣️Breakfast was too simple. Each person only had a bowl of white porridge, a small piece of sweet potato, a small piece of corn, a steamed bun, an egg and a plate of pickled mustard. It was really tasteless, so I gave up after one day and two days and bought instant coffee and Cookies are eaten in the house. The supplies and food on the island are still very rich, I hope the store can improve~

She was sweet, cute, beautiful, kind, and had a super good attitude. She also sent our luggage to the room and introduced us to all the beautiful scenery and food in Beihai. This hotel will definitely be our first choice when we come to Beihai in the future! Highly recommended!

SSanchezIsle Beach Home was a pleasant surprise. The view and closeness to the ocean is the best part of the stay. The rooms are very comfortable and the beds are of western hotel standards. The staff is attentive and friendly. They provide information about the island and also scooters for easy transportation. There is a restaurant on site with delicious food. It's also close to local seafood markets on the island. Another great part about the hotel is the infinity pool and deck. But there are a few things that detract from the overall greatness of the experience. The pool deck, although beautifully overlooking the ocean, is not set up for relaxing. The deck chairs are old and without cushions and there are no pool umbrellas to protect from the summer sun. And secondly, (this is not their fault or responsibility) the surrounding environment is the opposite of what the hotel promotes. The buildings and structures surrounding the hotel are unsafe and hazardous looking. But even with that, I would definitely stay her again.
