"I highly recommend Beihai Silver Beach Brother Shan's Seaview Homestay! The view is absolutely stunning, with a high-floor panoramic view of the beautiful seascape. You can see the ocean right from your bed, and the spacious balcony offers breathtaking views of the Ferris wheel and the cross-sea bridge – truly a 10/10 for scenery and relaxation. The room was clean, tidy, and well-equipped. Brother Shan himself is super warm, thoughtful, and provides excellent service. The location is great for getting around, very close to Silver Beach, and it's fantastic value for money. It was so comfortable staying here for our vacation in Beihai, and we'll definitely be back!"

"This stay experience is particularly comfortable, you must praise the housekeeper Zhou Yu, the service is meticulous and thoughtful, and the treatment is particularly warm and caring. It coincided with the typhoon weather. We were trapped in the hotel and were inconvenient to go out. The front desk staff was also enthusiastic to help take out. The whole process was patient and responsible. All the staff were friendly and thoughtful. It made people feel warm in special weather. The overall service was impeccable and highly recommended!"

"Overall, I'm quite satisfied, but the breakfast was definitely the highlight! The breakfast area had such a comfortable atmosphere, and the whole experience was superb. There was a wide variety of hot dishes, and plenty of whole grains too. For drinks, they had freshly ground coffee, juices, and even ice available, which was a thoughtful touch. All the hot dishes were handmade and freshly cooked, with that delicious wok-hei flavor. At the live cooking station, you could choose noodles or vermicelli, freshly prepared to perfection. There was a good selection of fruits, and more than enough bread and pastries. They also had salads and a rich assortment of various buns. Overall, I left feeling incredibly satisfied – I genuinely recommend it!"

"Our room was comfortable, and we even got upgraded to a sea view. My child wasn't feeling well and threw up on the sheets, but the hotel staff promptly changed them and cleaned up – really impressed! 👍 There's a small hotel gate that leads directly to the beautiful Silver Beach, and coming back, we could easily rinse off the sand. The kids' pool was great for swimming and splashing around, giving parents peace of mind. Even though we only stayed for one day, my child didn't want to leave. Later, we stayed at a more expensive hotel on Weizhou Island, but we didn't find it as good and kept thinking how much fun Kaiyuan Manju was. They also had a rich variety of kids' activities; we only had time for the crafts. Plus, they offer complimentary afternoon tea with tea, coffee, two kinds of fruit, biscuits, and snacks – something many hotels don't provide. Our whole family was very satisfied, and we'll definitely choose to stay here again on our next trip."

"The five-star facilities are top-notch, no complaints there. The sea view is also prime, especially from the balcony where you can even watch the sunrise from bed. Traveling during the off-season was a fantastic experience, though it's a bit of a shame that the rooftop infinity pool is only open for sunrise. I'd suggest opening it for sunset too, as missing out on that seamless horizon view is quite a regret. The animal feeding interaction is a unique and fun feature. The breakfast selection is quite rich, and the room is spacious with a very comfortable layout, offering everything you need and excellent hygiene. The hotel garden environment is lovely, and the back exit leads right to Silver Beach. My only minor quibble is that the butler was a bit new and not very professional."

"The Grand New Century Hotel in Beihai’s Haicheng District is conveniently close to the local seafood eateries and market along Sichuan Road and to the Beihai International Passenger Port over in Yinhai District is also just a short drive away. The rooms are perfectly clean, and the whole place feels genuinely well kep with lovely details in the kids and fitness zone. The pool is clean, good thoughtful changing rooms. Comfy large breakfast area with good choices. The staff was genuinely helpful, in particular the manager went the extra mile and helps me on improptu booking changes and extensions. Thank you for this."

"I stayed at a hotel that cost over 4000 yuan per night for three consecutive days. The breakfast consisted of only five different items, repeated every day, and on the last day, even those five items weren't guaranteed. The bathroom drainage had problems, and despite reporting it to the front desk, it wasn't addressed promptly. The hotel staff were poorly trained; I saw a staff member eating leftover food from a guest's room while cleaning the room next door. They advertised a complimentary travel photography session, but it turned out to be taken by a trainee girl who looked to be under 20. In every aspect, it was not worth the 4000 yuan price tag. As a 24-year member of Ctrip, this was definitely the worst value-for-money stay I've ever had."
