Beihai Hotels with Pools

We stayed at The Reef Hotel for two days, in different room types. On the second day, our room offered breathtaking, unobstructed views of the beach and ocean right from the moment we opened the patio door – absolutely stunning! The service was also top-notch; they were always ready to help with anything we needed, including laundry and drying services, which only required a quick word with our butler. The breakfast spread was excellent, and the afternoon tea was particularly good, with the option to have it delivered to our room, which was a fantastic touch. Plus, the complimentary coconut-themed photoshoot provided by the hotel was a lovely bonus; they captured beautiful photos of my little sister!

Had a really enjoyable stay at the hotel. The staff are very courteous and helpful. The service was absolutely impressive where free laundry service and daily afternoon tea with fresh fruits and cakes were served. They also helped to arrange free transport between the harbour and the hotel. The door gift is particularly thoughtful which contains a nice UV protective umbrella, mosquito repellant and sun block. The room was spacious, clean and tastefully designed! Ours was the ground floor room with the garden view. Though the hotel swimming pool is right outside, the lush greenery offered great privacy. The air-conditioned and pleasantly perfumes room was literally my oasis during this short island trip! And it is quite budget friendly!:) Absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone who’s planning to visit the island! Overall A+ experience! (Though it’d be a plus point if the laundry could be ironed.)

The entire guesthouse has a lovely ambiance, a perfect blend of modern style and natural simplicity, which is quite a pleasant surprise. The bedding and pillows are very comfortable, and the pick-up and drop-off service, along with the welcome fruit, are thoughtful touches. It even has its own kitchen where you can cook seafood for guests. Highly recommended! Facilities

The boss was very considerate and turned on the air conditioner for us in advance. As soon as we arrived at the B&B, he came to help us with our suitcases. He was very enthusiastic. The TV in the room won't turn on, come and help immediately. Very satisfied. It was just that the weather was cool this time, so it was a pity that I couldn't swim. The swimming pool in the B&B is also great. It is very close to Silver Beach. We go to the beach to play every day after waking up. The children are very happy.

The room's cleanliness and service were just okay, and the size was decent. The decor wasn't to my taste, and there were some smart features. I wanted to extend my stay for two more nights in the same room, but the hotel refused, which felt very inflexible and inconvenient, forcing me to switch rooms midway through my stay. The hotel is located halfway up Guantouling, and the roads going to and from it were extremely congested. Breakfast wasn't very good, and the pool's hygiene was concerning; there were many floating objects, and even worse, live, wiggling worms, which scared my family and me away immediately. Additionally, Guantouling beach really isn't worth a special trip; the beach area is tiny, incredibly crowded, and the scenery is nothing special.

The front desk service is very good, enthusiastic, and helps with travel transportation. The room is new, the apartment facilities are good and quiet, and the community is very new. I mainly went to the mangrove forest to play, and went to the nearby Binhai International Wetland Park to play in the sea, play on the mudflats, and take pictures. It takes 20 minutes to walk from the homestay. It costs 10 yuan to take a taxi from the homestay to Silver Beach. There is a canteen in the community, which is in a leisure activity center. You can go there for a walk. There is a pool.

A family of 6 people traveled. The boss and the boss's wife were young handsome men and beautiful women, very enthusiastic. The courtyard was also very warm. There was a big jackfruit tree in the yard, full of jackfruits, but unfortunately they were not ripe yet. The boss said that they were all for the guests to eat. However, the boss gave us bananas. The bananas on the island were so delicious. There was a special kitchen in the courtyard. There were three handsome guys processing seafood. Their skills were impeccable. We ate there for two days. Both the processed seafood and the stir-fried dishes were so delicious. Even my elderly parents praised them. After getting off the island, they were still saying that the dishes in the courtyard were delicious. When we left, the boss gave us bananas and mangoes. He was so enthusiastic. My parents and sister liked them very much. The courtyard is only 500 meters away from the beach and a few minutes' ride from Nanwan. It is also convenient to buy seafood. When we go to buy seafood, the boss directly lends us his electric bike to ride, and we can stay at his house when we go again.

The location is excellent, but there are a lot of mosquitoes🦟. I was bitten several times within half an hour of arriving. When I entered the room, I found that the balcony door was open, and a bunch of mosquitoes🦟 were flying around. It didn't work even if I lit mosquito coils~ The air conditioning was average. The room we booked was on the first floor. Because of the age, the hotel equipment was relatively old. There was a huge cigarette hole🕳️ on the sofa🛋️… I don't know if the swimming pool was not open and there was no water. The breakfast was hard to describe. There were so many things, but none of them looked fresh. When I was eating breakfast, I looked out the window and saw a big mop hanging there. I lost my appetite~ Service praise for the security guard on duty that day. I forgot something on the electric car🛵, and the electric car🛵 was charging. He took us to find the things very late in the night. It was heartwarming.

We were so pleased with our stay at this hotel with the kids! It's super close to Silver Beach, just a 5-minute walk to the sea, perfect for beachcombing and playing in the sand right outside. The facilities within the complex are brand new and well-maintained. Ms. Chloe was so gentle and welcoming, and the hotel even has a pet park! The overall atmosphere is comfortable and relaxing; the little pets are absolutely adorable, and the kids just loved them. Staying here was great value for money and perfectly suited for a family trip. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Beihai!

As a family-friendly hotel in Beihai, it's pretty good and reasonably priced with complete facilities. I'd still recommend booking a room at the Ferris Wheel Hotel. The elevators at the neighboring Xiangsi Hotel are still being installed, and getting back to your room feels like navigating a maze. The Ferris Wheel Hotel is much better; you just turn right after entering, which is super convenient.
