I accidentally discovered a camping-style homestay and was attracted by the realistic indoor environment. What's more rare is that this homestay is pet-friendly and I booked it decisively. I stayed for two days and was full of surprises. First of all, the layout of the room is really outdoor, especially the lighting at night, large-leaf plants plus succulents, and watching movies with a projector adds to the atmosphere. Sleeping in a bed with a tent made me understand why dogs like to sleep in a semi-enclosed nest. It feels really safe. In the room, you can take a lot of camping-style photos. The bathroom is very clean, and the shower gel and shampoo are lemongrass-flavored, very refreshing. The second surprise, and the biggest surprise, is the food in the homestay. Whether it is coffee, mulled wine, or various Western meals, they are surprisingly delicious. I really hope that the boss will open a restaurant in the city. If you go there specifically for food, it is also worth it. There is also the hotel's sunken cinema, which has screen movies every night, which is very interesting and takes pictures. The overall experience is super five-star, the food is a plus, and the boss's attitude towards dogs is even more a plus!

My child is about to start school, so I decided not to leave Beijing and just take a stroll in the suburbs of Beijing. So I started my walk in Huairou in the last week before school started. I first stayed in the nearby private hot spring resort for two nights and then moved to the Qihu Hotel for one night. Different styles and different experiences. The Qihu Hotel has not been open for long, so the facilities are very new and the environment is very good. Especially at night, walking on the plank road by the lake is very comfortable with a breeze. The lights on the distant mountains are very beautiful. He answered all questions and was very friendly. The two girls in the children's playground also always smiled and served, making people feel very comfortable. In comparison, the expression of the front desk check-in was not so rich and enthusiastic. When we entered the door, we had a lot of things and there was no doorman to help. Maybe he was not there at the time. I pulled a car to unload the luggage by myself. I was sweating profusely. But because my mother has poor legs and feet, the concierge lent us a wheelchair. I still have to thank them very much. They also arranged a lake view room for us, so I was very satisfied overall. The swimming pool and children's playground are not big, but they are very clean and new. The room has a little smell, but it doesn't affect me if I stay for one or two nights. The main environment is very good. It is especially suitable for taking children out and taking care of the elderly. I will choose this place again on vacation. PS: It takes a little more than an hour to get to the Beijing-Chengde Expressway from the East Fourth Ring Road. It is very easy to walk on the mountainous road. The overall construction of Huairou has been very good in recent years. The environmental sanitation and road facilities are remarkable. I personally feel that this is the best district in the suburbs and is worth a careful visit.

Thinking of taking my kids to play, my friend recommended this B&B to me. It was really good after I came here. The environment was clean and hygienic. The kids had a lot of fun. There were free drinks and snacks in the room. There were also swings and skateboards outdoors. With a nutritious and healthy breakfast, the dinner I ordered was large in size and tasted good. The staff at this guesthouse is very kind and helpful. They took really good care of us and any requests we had. They were great about communicating and being prompt. We hadn’t brought lunch, but they gave us a link to order food from. The food arrived within 15 minutes and was fresh and delicious. We brought other food to grill on the BBQ provided at our room. My lighter died and they promptly brought me a new one. They also locked our gate for us when we forgot to do it. The hotel is about a 20-minute drive to Mutianyu Great Wall, so the location is perfect if you want to do some cultural exploring. The villa we rented was very well equipped with two bedrooms, two full bathrooms and a half bathroom with a toilet and sink. The bathtubs/springs were great for soaking in. The swimming pool is not deep, however, so don’t expect to “swim”. It’s a nice little area to cool off in though, if the weather is hot. The kitchen has everything you need to make your own meals and clean up. The beds were very comfortable. Overall, the room is very clean. However, I did find a few stray hairs in one of the bathrooms when we first arrived. Overall, I would definitely stay here again. It was a wonderful, relaxing and peaceful stay.

You can see the big shell of Yanqi Lake Sunrise Oriental Kempinski Hotel. The warm, thoughtful and meticulous work attitude of the front desk staff made us feel like we were at home. What is particularly worth mentioning is the minibar in the room: equipped with mineral water, Coke + Sprite + orange juice, coffee☕️tea bags. There are dozens of breakfast varieties, and the restaurant waiters are also very enthusiastic. Before leaving, I discovered that there is a reading room, a small gym, and a washing machine + dryer, all of which are free. My grandson said that he would stay here in the future when he comes to Hongluo Temple and Yanqi Lake. His children like it very much and the key price is affordable. There is a McDonald's downstairs and a dozen restaurants a few hundred meters away, which is very convenient.

I took my children and the elderly to Huairou during the holidays. It was much more comfortable than staying in a B&B. The price was reasonable, the hotel had convenient parking, and there was an open-air barbecue outside, which was great.

There is no thick oil or red sauce, but they are fresh and clean, combining Chinese and Western food, with just the right nutrition and taste. If you go with your family, you can book Fangyi's independent courtyard. The courtyard has great sunshine, the chess and card room can be fully opened, and the sense of space is upgraded a lot. The parking lot is also very convenient. It's better to come in spring, autumn and early summer. You can also pick and camp nearby. It's away from the hustle and bustle but not boring. I'll come again next time

After talking with my husband in the main yard at night, I asked the owner's brother to help save the private soup. Before going to bed, there are wind bells and stars in the sky to accompany the soup. It feels really a city. The beauty of the city is not experienced. Anyone who is extraordinary is highly recommended to those who like us want to escape the hustle and bustle of the city temporarily and find another way of life.
