2-Star Hotels in Beijing

I stayed 31 nights during january 2024 at 7 days inn hotel. I chose this hotel because it was very close to the subway, in the center of Beijing and the heating system was good according to the reviews. I changed room the first day so I could have a little bit better room. The previous room had no universal charger and was very dark, the windows in front of a wall. My room was on the first floor, just next to the shared bathroom and to the water dispenser. The room was very big and quiet (unless people talk in the corridor), not a lot of light but some rooms has more sun light than others. No fridge inside but since it was january I put my food outside the windows if I wanted to keep it fresh. If you want to warm some food, you can use the microwage in the commun area but I never used it. The commun area is very close from the entrance door so it was very chilly. The staff was nice but almost no english. They explained to me how to use the washing machine and once the wifi was not working so they helped me. Internet was definetly not very good but I was able to watch youtube with my vpn. I will start now talking about the shared bathroom (which I already knew was shared when booking) but I didn't know the toilet would be squat toilets. I think if I knew before, I wouldn't choose this hotel. There was no lock in the toilets. The shower room has one and was very cold (because winter). The hot water was always there but I took my shower usually in the morning (so less people). The shared bathroom was dirty mostly because of clients that didn't clean after their buisness. There was regulary water on the floor so I was just going with my shoes on at some point. The washing machine was broken the first 2 weeks and then got replaced. I'm still a bit confused if clients can use it or only the staff, but I used it anyway. The area is maybe a bit empty at first but if you go to the Hong Qiao Pearl Market, in the basement there is a big food court where you can try chinese food (or subway and macdonalds). Overall I liked my journey in this hotel but I think it was too expensive for a shared bathroom this old and dirty. I paid 1000 euros for 31 days.

A bit out of the city center and attractions, the staff is willing to help but won’t go out of their way too much.

From the perspective of catching a flight, the hotel is in a great location. It is a 10-minute drive from the Capital Airport and includes a one-way pick-up/drop-off. When we arrived at the hotel, there was a municipal project being repaired outside. When we walked inside, there were swings and a small leisure area. When we arrived at the lobby, the industrial style decoration was very personal and had a bit of fashion elements. The lady at the front desk was very enthusiastic, considerate, and... I prepared Lego for the children... I forgot to bring the charging head, and they lent me their own to use. It was very warm... I went to the airport in the morning and there was a considerate early morning service. If I come here next time, I will definitely choose this hotel.

Absolutely a gem near the heart of the city. If you're looking for a reliable, reasonably priced motel this is a great choice. There's no fluff with the rooms, they're what is advertised and function well. The water pressure is strong, the rooms are clean and the location is close to a convenient store, market and subway. I was also able to check in at noon instead of 2pm and this might be because there is a constant flux of people checking in and out. The subway didn't bother me so much- it was more a faint rumble or vibration. The noise can be loud if people speak outside in the corridor but I've found that only happens occasionally. There is security too and a lift which only hotel staff and residents can use, which were nice especially for a female solo traveller. The only con is that it is right outside a carpark which is dark at night. No smell of smoke. Overall a near 5/5

The B&Bs here are very suitable for family outings. It is also very good to take children. There is a large parking lot. The food cooked by the aunt is delicious. There is a supermarket and a forest park not far from the B&B. Especially sweet mulberries, the people of the homestay are very enthusiastic. If you go to the scenic spot to play, if there is no car, the uncle of the homestay will be responsible for picking them up. It is very quiet. Except for going out for a walk, I feel that I have been sleeping all the time, very cool, and I sleep well without turning on the air conditioner. , The decoration and sanitation of the homestay are very good. Next time there is a holiday, I should come again. The air here is also super.

Opposite the hotel is the Huguosi Snack Street. The bus and subway are very convenient. You can go to Beihai Park in 20 minutes to half an hour's walk. It's really convenient. There is a little cat in the store that my children especially like. The front desk of the hotel is better than other hotels I have stayed in. The front desk is very nice. There is a girl named Xiaobai who is very nice and enthusiastic. She also helped us send our luggage and water when we left. Based on this enthusiasm, I must write this praise!

The environment is hygienic, the service attitude is good, the home appliances are complete, the washing machine is convenient, the demand response is timely, the cleaning is active, the transportation is convenient, and the price is reasonable in the Second Ring Road where land is very expensive. It is a rare place for Huawei business travelers to check in.

I left in a hurry and forgot to write a review. The hotel is surprisingly good. First of all, the service attitude is very good. There are free parking spaces. It is not easy to find free parking spaces near Sanlitun. After parking the car, I am also responsible for carrying the suitcases. The hotel is just like the photos. The hotel booked on July 8th, I told the front desk to stay for 2 days when I checked in. I told the front desk at 8 am on the 9th that I would not check out. The result was more than 10 o'clock and I rushed out. I said that I couldn't live today. The room was booked and the service was poor.

Check-in is on the 2nd floor, and I was confused when I entered the door and couldn't find the place to check-in. The triple room I live in is room 205, which is said to be the largest. There is not always someone at the front desk, you have to call for someone to come over. The overall feeling is a bit like a rural-style layout. The walls are all red bricks, which is different from the buyer's show. The furniture is actually solid wood beds. The toothbrushes are hard to describe. The plastic ones have cracks and are not clean. I asked the front desk directly for a disposable water cup. The shower room has a dry and wet separation, which is fine, but the water pressure is too low, and the water flow from the shower is very small, and I feel that the body cannot be washed cleanly. This is very dissatisfactory. Whether you have a TV or not, you can only order it if you have a membership, but after you order it, the network is too bad and you can’t broadcast anything. The breakfast is the worst I've ever stayed in a room with Ctrip. The breakfast lady's service is okay. The only breakfast we had was millet porridge, steamed buns, and boiled eggs. Originally there were meat buns and pancakes, but the breakfast waiter said that there was a family with several children, and the buns were all packed away. I thought to myself how could the waiter manage it like this. The restaurant I arrived at after 8 o'clock had nothing to eat. Then, I also found that the pancakes that the previous guests hadn’t eaten were returned to the pick-up area. This is too shocking, who dares to eat it? Those who don't know later will eat leftovers from other people's tables. In short, will not choose to go again. I didn't take a single photo of the hotel because I didn't have the desire to take a view.
