Hotel near Madian Area,Beijing
Conveniently located on Subway Line 12 An Zhen Qiao Station the Beijing’s North Third Ring Road with close proximity to tourist and business districts, the Sheraton Grand Beijing Dongcheng Hotel offers 439 spacious guest rooms including 70 suites. Ideal choice for business and leisure travelers, the hotel features the brand’s Sheraton Signature Sleep Experience Bed, Sheraton Club and Seraton Fitness. The hotel has 3 restaurants featuring Western, Japanese, Italian and Chinese cuisines and provides expansive meeting facilities with a total of 2,400 square meter of events space.

"The lobby has a nice ambiance. Although some of the in-room facilities are a bit old, which is understandable given the hotel's age, it doesn't detract from the quality and overall experience. I think the hairdryer and fridge could use an update, they're showing their age. However, the stay itself was very comfortable; it's quite soundproof, and the room door is thick and heavy. My only minor gripe is that the door can't be propped open because there's no magnet on the wall behind it. The hotel breakfast deserves a special mention – it was delicious and very abundant! They offer eggs cooked in various ways, including omelets, fried eggs (both sides or one), and poached eggs. The front desk staff kindly gave us a complimentary welcome fruit platter, which we really appreciated. I'll definitely choose Sheraton again for my next trip."

Honestly, staying at this hotel for my first time in Beijing truly broadened my horizons and changed my perception of the city. My wife, our child, and I came to Beijing for the May Day holiday. She said since we're here, we might as well splurge and experience a traditional Beijing courtyard. It truly delivered a top-tier luxury experience. The room layout was excellent, the courtyard views were charming, the service was impeccable, and the location was superb with an abundance of food delivery options. Breakfast was all made-to-order. The only thing we missed out on was the bar and hotel activities, but there's always next time. I do have two minor points of discomfort to share, just for reference: 1. When our taxi pulled up to the hotel entrance, a staff member immediately asked me what I was doing there. I was a bit taken aback at first, then explained I was checking in. I'm not blaming him; perhaps I was dressed too casually, but it did feel a little off-putting. 2. On our last day, breakfast felt less crowded, but the food service was incredibly slow. We went at 10 AM, thinking half an hour would be plenty for breakfast, especially since the day before our food arrived in about 15 minutes. This time, we waited half an hour just for the dishes to arrive. Overall, it was absolutely wonderful, and I'd definitely go back if I get the chance. It left a lasting impression, and thinking about it now still brings back such lovely memories, especially sitting in the courtyard at night, listening to music and watching the stars 💫

The location is super convenient, very close to both the high-speed train station and the subway station, and the environment and hygiene are excellent. Since I was with my baby, they also helped me with a late check-out, which was much appreciated. A special thanks to employee number 007! The room facilities and equipment are also very new. My child could cast content to the TV, making it easy for him to find his favorite shows. The hotel also provided children's toothbrushes and disposable slippers. The staff were all very thoughtful and attentive. When our child is on holiday and we come to Beijing again, we will definitely choose this hotel first. It was a very satisfying stay.

Facilities: The room offers an excellent view directly facing the Forbidden City. The swimming pool is comfortably heated, and the gym is well-equipped with machines that are maintained like new. Cleanliness: Impeccable. The bedding was pristine and crisp, and the bathroom was spotless. The turndown service even organized personal belongings meticulously. Ambiance: Located in Wangfujing, yet surprisingly quiet. The floral arrangements and artwork in the public areas are tasteful and elegant. The unique scent of oriental agarwood creates a distinctive, secluded atmosphere. Service: Our butler, Xiao Lü, was the absolute highlight. She attentively observed our needs, proactively prepared a rainy-day itinerary, and arranged a late check-out. Her thoughtfulness felt like that of an old friend, making it a truly warm and memorable experience. Overall, it exceeded our expectations! 👍🏻

Facilities: The lobby, lobby bar, and room amenities are all top-tier five-star quality. The high-ceilinged swimming pool and dynamic water features create a very clean and comfortable environment for fitness. Hygiene: Housekeeping staff clean every area daily, including many small details, ensuring everything is spotless. The hotel's aromatherapy scent is also very subtle and pleasant. Environment: Located right above a subway station, the transportation is incredibly convenient, and it's very close to all the major attractions. For this location and these amenities, the value for money is excellent. Service: Yedda's service, from check-in to the various assistance provided afterward, truly demonstrated the hotel's beyond five-star service. The mini-bar is complimentary for the first use and isn't stingy with its offerings, which is quite rare nowadays. If you have time, I also recommend the spa; my personal experience was very professional. This has always been my go-to choice when visiting Beijing, highly recommended.

The Pan Pacific Beijing's location is absolutely fantastic! It's right in the heart of Xidan, and you can walk to Financial Street, which made my business trip incredibly efficient. I got lucky this time and stayed on a high floor. The floor-to-ceiling windows offered direct views of the Forbidden City and Beihai's White Pagoda. Watching the city skyline at sunset made my business trip feel much less tiring. The hotel's modern and minimalist design is really appealing, and the facilities are well-maintained. To have such an experience in a core area of Beijing, the value for money is exceptional.

Adison, the front desk agent who helped me check in, was excellent. I took a photo of his name tag intending to write a good review after checking out, but my phone broke at the airport. So, I specifically messaged guest relations again to ask for his name. Zoey and Sharon from the guest services center also deserve a special shout-out; they were great at helping me extend my stay and resolve issues. Out of all the InterContinental hotels I've stayed at, I'd say this one has a high standard of service. From the security guards at the entrance and the concierge to the rooms and restaurants, there's absolutely nothing to complain about. Five-star review!

Upgraded to a business room, which was very spacious with fantastic views of Chang'an Avenue and the Capital Museum outside the window. The location is super convenient with Metro Line 1 and Line 16 nearby, plus Chang'an Shopping Mall right next door offering restaurants and a cinema. Although the in-room facilities are a bit dated, it's still highly recommended. I didn't have breakfast there; it was 138 RMB per person on the spot, which felt a bit pricey, so I wouldn't recommend it.

Even though this hotel is ten years old, I was worried it might be run down. I originally booked the Rocks Hotel, but was put off by the outdated facilities, dirty carpets, and incredibly rude service! I chose Hilton for its reputation and reliability. When I booked, I left a few requests, not really expecting them to be noticed, but when I arrived, the front desk proactively addressed and fulfilled every single one. Every staff member at the hotel genuinely focuses on the guests, offering smiles and greetings. Their service mindset is excellent. I particularly want to commend the housekeeping staff on my floor and the cleaning auntie on the first floor – they are incredibly proactive, have a great attitude, and are very dedicated. However, I do think the doormen could be more proactive. When I checked in, it was pouring rain! My friend and I both had our hands full with bags and were sitting in the back seat, but no doorman offered an umbrella or even opened the car door. After struggling up the steps, the revolving door in front of me was broken. I stood there awkwardly for about 30 seconds, trying to figure it out, before a staff member finally noticed me and directed me to the side entrance. The room itself was good, and I slept really well because I was so exhausted. I have to say, it was incredibly quiet; no noise woke me up at all. A special thanks to Manager Ding Yuzhu, who has a lovely smile and proactively asked about my experience. I'll definitely contact you for my next visit. Thank you everyone, and thank you, Hilton.

Jialong Hotel (Beijing Chaoyangmen)

I had a lovely 6 night stay. The hotel is conveniently located once the hotel is found as other reviews may have mentioned. The building is not labelled Jialong but Man Xin, check in around the corner from the building labelled Jialong . And if taking the metro, remembering to exit at E from the #6 /#2 line, it will get you closer to the hotel. When I first arrived, my room smelled heavily of cigarettes, I almost thought it was coming from the ventilation. I remedied it myself with an air freshener after I was told my room could not be changed. I've experienced a bit more empathy from other China hotels I've stayed in seeing I did book a non smoking room but after a couple days the cigarette smell was less. Other than that, the room was spacious, clean and comfortable. I had an atrium view which offered large windows into the dining area of the breakfast buffet so I kept the curtains closed. Still good value for the great location. I enjoyed the breakfast buffet, take not le that more items become available closer to 7am but a good variety nonetheless. I enjoyed all the Chinese food options and didn't care much for the western food (some bread and cereal). I've recently gone vegetarian and found it perfect, there were so many varieties of veggies. I felt they offered Chinese food on the healthy side. They also offered a variety of coffee, tea and juices. Laundry and gym facilities were good too. I enjoyed my stay overall.

Here I am again, after less than a month! This time I even braved a heavy downpour to get here. My flight circled over Beijing for an hour before landing, so I didn't get to the hotel until after midnight. It was another one of those check-in and check-out on the same day trips. I was already feeling pretty groggy, but thankfully, Bella at the front desk was incredibly warm and enthusiastic. She handled everything super quickly and thoughtfully, getting me checked in no time. Once I got to the room, I even bothered the staff to open and close the window for me. They made two trips late at night – I'm really grateful, though I regret not catching their names. This time, my room had an even better view! When I woke up in the morning, the sun was even out, and my mood instantly brightened, just like the weather. I got back late from lunch, but luckily, they extended my check-out time. By the way, I once again ran into the ever-elegant Ms. Rose Xiao. She checked out my room card for me at the very last minute. This trip was truly a whirlwind. As expected, after the storm, there's always sunshine! (I hope I got both employees' names right; I always worry about misspelling them.)
