"I have a natural affinity for the New Chinese style, and since I was mainly active in the Chaoyang District this time, I booked Langyi, a newly opened hotel with a predominant wooden decor and a 'natural' theme. The room was very spacious, clean, and tidy, with tasteful decorative details. The view from the window was great; on sunny days, pulling back the curtains filled the entire room with sunlight, which was very pleasant. The location is excellent; I could almost instantly get a taxi, and it's only a few hundred meters from the subway station. It's also just about a ten-minute walk to Chaoyang Park. The front desk service was warm and responsive. I asked for a few bottles of water and ended up with a whole bag full! 🥰 However, there were a few minor downsides: First, the hotel breakfast had limited variety, and even less so if you went after 9 AM. Second, the hallway still had a faint smell of new renovation that hadn't completely dissipated. Third, there were no latex pillows available, and the bed was a bit too soft, which was a nightmare for someone with neck problems."

FFanfanbufanMy stay at Mandarin Oriental Qianmen, Beijing, was truly unforgettable, and I deeply appreciated the brand's consistently high standard of service. From the moment I arrived at the hotel entrance, my butler, Melody, personally greeted me and assisted with check-in. Throughout my entire stay, from check-in to my departure, she maintained a perfectly proactive yet unobtrusive service rhythm – meticulous and thoughtful, yet making me feel comfortable and at ease. Whenever I needed assistance, she was promptly there, while also maintaining appropriate boundaries. This professional yet warm and personalized service truly showcased Mandarin Oriental's service excellence. I also want to specially commend Carla at the front desk. She was incredibly efficient and professional during both check-in and check-out, with smooth processes and a very warm and friendly attitude. The dining experience was equally impressive. While dining at The Courtyard, Iris provided professional and detailed introductions for each dish, making the meal much richer and more enjoyable. For in-room dining, I chose to have hot pot in the courtyard, and Daisy and her team made thorough preparations. The ingredients were incredibly fresh, and the overall setup was exquisitely arranged, creating a fantastic ambiance and perfect photo opportunities. The experience was absolutely exceptional. Regarding the SPA, I'd like to extend a special thanks to Tiana at the front desk. She patiently explained the different treatments and helped me choose one that was perfectly suited for me. The next day, I returned for a facial treatment. The entire process was incredibly smooth and relaxing, and both therapists, Ivy and Sunny, were highly professional. The experience was excellent. Every single staff member I encountered during my stay was highly dedicated, and you could truly feel the team's commitment to service quality. My experience at Mandarin Oriental Qianmen, Beijing, was delightful, and I look forward to returning in the future.

YYangguangeryuequlvxingThe environment is great, the service is attentive, and the transportation is convenient. The high floor offers a fantastic view. It's a good choice whether you're on a business trip or traveling solo. The only downside is that the breakfast variety isn't extensive enough; it could use more fresh vegetables and juices. Overall, it was a satisfactory stay.

YYongyuanzaijianfeidexiaochihuoTraveling to Beijing with my kids for a concert, after much deliberation, I still chose the Mandarin Oriental, a hotel I've always loved! Their consistently thoughtful service and excellent food proved my decision was spot on, haha~ The location of Mandarin Oriental Wangfujing is unbeatable; it's very close to Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City, with plenty of shopping malls and great dining options nearby. The large terrace on the 5th floor offers stunning views, and this time I even managed to capture the Forbidden City at sunset~ The semi-buffet breakfast with a la carte options is very convenient, and all the pastries are handmade daily, which my kids thoroughly enjoyed~ Many thanks to Rosie from Guest Relations, as well as Aimyon and Stena, who made my four-night stay truly delightful!

AAralechanRegent Beijing was my choice, a hidden gem of a luxury hotel in the city center. It's incredibly convenient, right next to the Dengshikou Station exit on Line 5, where you can spot the hotel's side entrance sign. It's also very close to Jinyu Hutong Station on Line 8, making it super easy to get to popular spots like Wangfujing, the Bird's Nest, Temple of Heaven, Lama Temple, Xidan Joy City, and THE BOX. This stay added such a gentle and healing touch to my Mayday concert trip! As a Trip.com Diamond member and IHG Platinum member, I was pleasantly surprised by the member benefits. They upgraded me to an executive room for free, which offered fantastic views and an elegant, spacious interior. Although it's an older hotel, and some of the soft furnishings show their age, the comfortable details more than made up for it. The bedding was soft and skin-friendly, with eight types of pillows to choose from. All the toiletries were enriched with Vitamin E, perfect for Beijing's dry climate, instantly curing my travel fatigue. The front desk even thoughtfully provided complimentary breakfast! The breakfast spread was incredibly rich, with a full array of Chinese and Western dishes. There was a live noodle station, exquisite desserts, fresh fruits and vegetables, and a variety of drinks. The ingredients were fresh, and the flavors authentic; every bite showed true quality. A hearty breakfast in the morning truly boosts your happiness for the entire day. A special shout-out to Cindy at the front desk for her consistently gentle and meticulous service. She even added me on WeChat, responding to my needs promptly, and gave me a farewell gift before I left. These little details truly highlight the luxury service standards. With such thoughtful hospitality and impeccable service, I'm confident that the Regent will be my top choice for my next visit to Beijing!

MMrFineFineFineBooking was a breeze, and the cancellation policy was flexible, which was great since it's so close to Beijing South Railway Station. Check-in at the front desk was super efficient. Wendy, who assisted me, was incredibly clear and organized, explaining everything from upgrades and breakfast options to elevator directions. She really turned my mood around after a frustrating experience with a taxi driver. The room was spacious and wonderfully bright. It had all the amenities, including a capsule coffee machine. I especially loved the creamer pods the hotel provided – a shot of espresso with a pod of creamer was perfect. One small thing: there's an iron burn mark on the luggage rack. Also, be aware that the shower defaults to the overhead rain shower, even though there's a sign. I didn't notice it at first and got a cold shower right away! Not sure what the design intention behind that is. Breakfast was excellent, especially the coffee, and many items were freshly prepared, showing the chefs really put thought into their offerings. Xidan, with all its dining and shopping, is just a short walk to the right from the hotel entrance. For anyone with a budget under 1200, I highly recommend this place. A tip for getting from South Station to the hotel: don't take a taxi. Drivers will often refuse short fares. Use a ride-hailing app instead. Unfortunately, my company's policy doesn't cover ride-hailing, so I ended up with an unnecessarily frustrating business trip experience.

XXuelijiuBH3AGMoving from the Tangla Hotel to the Yanjing Hotel, the standards and service remained consistently excellent, still offering outstanding value for money. The service quality was superb, especially considering the hotel was fully booked, they still maintained their high standards. Requests for extra mineral water and towels were delivered very promptly. What particularly stood out was that before check-in, the customer service manager even added me on WeChat to confirm my needs in advance. I had mentioned needing a power strip, and when I got to the room, I found they had actually purchased a brand new, branded, extended power strip just for me! It was incredibly convenient during my stay. My sincere thanks to all the staff who provided such great service! If I had to point out any minor shortcomings, it would be that the facilities are a bit dated. Specifically, the in-room Wi-Fi speed was a bit slow, and the TV was also slightly old-fashioned, with clarity not on par with current mainstream configurations. I'd suggest the hotel consider phased renovations and upgrades.

GGuest UserRoom: Nice, modern and clean. It was nice having access to the mini bar. Bed was large and comfortable. Bathtub was big but uncomfortable. Shower pressure was amazing. Did not love the circular design or the glass toilet door. Breakfast: Big selection, loved having congee and 豆腐脑 for breakfast. Lots of western options too, including baked beans. Frest squeezed juice was really nice. Service: Concierge was very helpful in helping me with food and online deliveries.

GGuaiguaidexiaobaobeiEvery year, I visit Universal Studios in Beijing, and the year before last, I accidentally stayed at the Sofitel. I added Leo on WeChat because of an issue I had, and ever since, I contact him in advance to help arrange our stays. This year was no different, and everything was perfectly arranged again. It's now our go-to hotel in Beijing. The rooms are spacious enough for a family without feeling cramped. The only minor downside is the lack of a screen mirroring option, which isn't very convenient, but everything else is excellent. Plus, the subway is just a few minutes' walk away!
