Perfect
CcarrascooHonestly, staying at this hotel for my first time in Beijing truly broadened my horizons and changed my perception of the city. My wife, our child, and I came to Beijing for the May Day holiday. She said since we're here, we might as well splurge and experience a traditional Beijing courtyard. It truly delivered a top-tier luxury experience. The room layout was excellent, the courtyard views were charming, the service was impeccable, and the location was superb with an abundance of food delivery options. Breakfast was all made-to-order. The only thing we missed out on was the bar and hotel activities, but there's always next time. I do have two minor points of discomfort to share, just for reference: 1. When our taxi pulled up to the hotel entrance, a staff member immediately asked me what I was doing there. I was a bit taken aback at first, then explained I was checking in. I'm not blaming him; perhaps I was dressed too casually, but it did feel a little off-putting. 2. On our last day, breakfast felt less crowded, but the food service was incredibly slow. We went at 10 AM, thinking half an hour would be plenty for breakfast, especially since the day before our food arrived in about 15 minutes. This time, we waited half an hour just for the dishes to arrive. Overall, it was absolutely wonderful, and I'd definitely go back if I get the chance. It left a lasting impression, and thinking about it now still brings back such lovely memories, especially sitting in the courtyard at night, listening to music and watching the stars 💫

EEmerald IslandThe hotel’s location is incredibly convenient for transit: it’s only a 10-minute drive to Beijing Capital International Airport Terminal 3, and around 20 minutes to Terminal 2. The smooth ride from the airport let me rest quickly after a long flight, completely easing my travel fatigue. From coordinating the airport pick-up to checking in, Mr. Hou, the Hotel butler, provided meticulous, attentive service. He followed up on my stay throughout and was always responsive to my requests, making my layover trip feel completely at ease. The huge immersive aquarium in the hotel lobby is the absolute highlight! The massive tank is home to a wide variety of tropical fish from different sea areas, and you can watch them up close. This one-of-a-kind experience is a rare treat for an airport-area hotel, and stopping to admire it during my waiting time instantly soothed my travel tiredness. Additionally, the hotel’s 24-hour self-service vending machines are extremely thoughtful, stocked with daily necessities, snacks and food. I could grab whatever I needed at any time, whether arriving late at night or before heading to the airport, with no extra trips needed—total convenience!

Oo77oThis five-star hotel is absolutely superb, offering seven-star service. They called me before check-in to confirm my arrival time and ask about any room preferences. As soon as I arrived, they promptly arranged a room on my preferred floor and in my ideal location. They even provided a latex pillow for my neck issues. Since there were many people coming and going for a conference, they replenished our bottled water supply daily, allowing us to relax and enjoy tea and conversation. Housekeeping was also excellent; they only cleaned our room after we had left, ensuring they never disturbed our work or rest. Thank you!

GGuest UserThis stay was a significant improvement over my last one! I'd informed the front desk in advance about my room preferences, and they specifically arranged a high-floor, quiet room for me. My sleep was undisturbed throughout the stay. The soundproofing was excellent with the windows closed at night, and even with them open during the day for ventilation, there was no disturbance. My baby slept incredibly soundly. The room's cleanliness was impeccable, and the bedding was wonderfully soft and comfortable. As a new hotel, the facilities are all very new and well-equipped. The front desk service was incredibly thoughtful; they addressed my concerns about room orientation upon check-in, and their responses were consistently prompt. My experience was absolutely fantastic! You can really tell they genuinely care about every guest. All the previous issues I encountered were gone, and there's no need to worry about the noise problems mentioned in older reviews. I highly recommend staying here; just let the front desk know your needs in advance!

SSChakrabortyMO hotels are usually very well located and this one is no exception. It is like an oasis in the middle of the hustle bustle of Wangfujing and I looked forward to my return to the quiet and solitude of the hotel after suffering the torture of accompanying my wife to numerous shopping malls nearby. We have travelled extensively all over the world and are familiar with well known hotels. I was expecting top notch service with warm hospitality and the hotel certainly lived up to the expectations. All the staff were warm, polite and helpful. Some are more fluent in English than others, but it was not an issue at all. Check in/check out was smooth. Stena at the front desk was very efficient and courteous. Osgood with his pins was also very friendly and saved me the trouble of finding a post office. The dining room staff spoke excellent English and I felt great when one lady said my pronunciation of 谢谢 was perfect. They really know how to make the guests feel happy ! Breakfast buffet had a good mix. After three weeks of travelling in China eating steamed buns, fried rice and noodles for breakfast I was desperate for some proper continental breakfast and the hotel definitely delivered. One of the best almond croissants that I have ever eaten. The egg benedict was perfect. My small gripe with the Avo toast is that I am used to having the Avo mashed and spread on the bread with a bit of lemon/salt and not served just as slices on bread. No big deal of course. Our room did have a partial view of the forbidden city, you get better view from their terrace. I regret that I did not have time to enjoy the pool. Lovely big bathroom , his and hers basins and a separate WC with one of those Toto modern toilets with many buttons, even separate settings for two users ! Very good sound proofing. One small thing that impressed me was that I had left several cables plugged to the wall socket in the morning. On my return I saw house keeping has neatly tidied up all the cables and even used a cable tie to make them look very organised ! This is not a huge hotel and that makes the experience more personal. It does not have a grand lobby and you may be disappointed that the entrance is common with a shopping mall. But as soon as you step out of the lift it oozes old world charm and sense of peace and solitude. Incidentally my daughter was staying at the MO in Barcelona at the same time and told us Bad Bunny was staying there and it has turned into a circus. Thankfully no celebrities and their fans disturbed our peace. Have a look at the room key card. It is designed by Timmy Yip, who was the art director of one my my most favourite films Couching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. I appreciated the gifts at the time of leaving. My one little comment is that I found the pillows a bit on the soft side. Some hotels have a pillow menu where the guests can choose pillows with different level of firmness. Maybe the management can look into that. Overall a very satisfying stay and I'd certainly consider staying here if I return to Beijing.

AAnonymous UserThe InterContinental Hotel boasts excellent smart amenities and comfortable bedding that truly helps to alleviate travel fatigue from business trips. The front desk staff, especially Aria and Dale from Guest Relations, are highly efficient with check-ins and check-outs, and the concierge is very helpful with travel arrangements. The executive lounge is perfect for small meetings, and the breakfast offers a good selection of drinks and light meals. The gym and pool are great for unwinding between work commitments. The service is professional and discreet, never intrusive, and the facilities are well-maintained. It's a consistently top choice for business travelers, highly recommended.

LLee_koIt's been a long time since I've been to Beijing, and I'd almost forgotten the city's layout. Choosing Xidan, especially staying at the Pan Pacific Hotel, was an absolutely brilliant decision. The location is superb, with excellent transportation links to everywhere. It's less than a ten-minute drive to Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City, and there are several shopping malls nearby to cover all your daily needs. From the moment I checked in, the hotel's service was consistently outstanding. Throughout my stay, no matter how many times I came and went, a staff member would always promptly open and close the car door and greet me warmly. All my requests during the stay were also fulfilled immediately, a level of excellence that even many hotels in the Jiangsu-Zhejiang-Shanghai region don't quite match. My stay coincided with the Dragon Boat Festival, and on that day, every room received hot Zongzi, which was such a warm and thoughtful gesture. A big thank you to all the Pan Pacific Hotel staff and Cindy at the front desk for their enthusiastic hospitality. I will definitely stay here again next time I visit Beijing!

GGuest UserOur family's stay at the Beijing Yanjing Hotel was absolutely perfect! From the moment we stepped into the lobby, all the staff were incredibly warm, attentive, and efficient. The hotel's location is superb, right next to Chang'an Avenue, and very close to Tiananmen Square, Financial Street, and the Xidan commercial area. It's super convenient whether you're sightseeing or on a business trip. The facilities are comprehensive and well-maintained; the indoor pool is crystal clear, and the gym is well-equipped – perfect for relaxing in your downtime. The room was spacious and tidy, with excellent natural light. The mattress was soft and supportive, ensuring a stress-free night's sleep. The bathroom was clean and odor-free, and the large showerhead offered a fantastic experience, showing the high quality of service. Standing by the window, you could overlook the magnificent Chang'an Avenue, with a wide-open view. The attention to detail made us feel incredibly comfortable. The restaurant offered a rich variety of breakfast options, catering to both Western and Chinese tastes, and the food was delicious. The overall service upheld the 'Tangla Hotel Elegance' standard, being meticulous and thoughtful. This place offers incredible value for money. Next time we're in Beijing, we will definitely choose to stay here again!

GGuest UserEven though this hotel is ten years old, I was worried it might be run down. I originally booked the Rocks Hotel, but was put off by the outdated facilities, dirty carpets, and incredibly rude service! I chose Hilton for its reputation and reliability. When I booked, I left a few requests, not really expecting them to be noticed, but when I arrived, the front desk proactively addressed and fulfilled every single one. Every staff member at the hotel genuinely focuses on the guests, offering smiles and greetings. Their service mindset is excellent. I particularly want to commend the housekeeping staff on my floor and the cleaning auntie on the first floor – they are incredibly proactive, have a great attitude, and are very dedicated. However, I do think the doormen could be more proactive. When I checked in, it was pouring rain! My friend and I both had our hands full with bags and were sitting in the back seat, but no doorman offered an umbrella or even opened the car door. After struggling up the steps, the revolving door in front of me was broken. I stood there awkwardly for about 30 seconds, trying to figure it out, before a staff member finally noticed me and directed me to the side entrance. The room itself was good, and I slept really well because I was so exhausted. I have to say, it was incredibly quiet; no noise woke me up at all. A special thanks to Manager Ding Yuzhu, who has a lovely smile and proactively asked about my experience. I'll definitely contact you for my next visit. Thank you everyone, and thank you, Hilton.

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is excellent, right near China World Mall, just a ten-minute walk away. The surrounding area has everything you need: transportation, shopping, and dining options. The staff are very professional, and the breakfast offers a wide variety of tasty options. However, the room facilities are a bit old, and there was a slight electrical buzzing noise in the room. It wasn't very loud, but it did impact my sleep.
