LLionel_yuHot Springs: Even though not all hot spring pools were open that day, the scenery was fantastic! I recommend going around 6 PM to catch the beautiful sunset views. Look for the higher pool, I think it was the one themed after the Zodiac Sheep, but I've forgotten. Breakfast: The Western pastries were good, and there was a wide variety of fruit. They also offered steak and lamb chops, though eating that much in the morning felt a bit heavy. Takeaway service is available. Bedding: Clean and hygienic, with various pillow types provided. Entertainment & Recreation: Badminton, table tennis, and basketball are all in one hall. If you plan to play, remember to bring your own shuttlecocks and ping-pong balls, as consumables are chargeable. Yoga is highly recommended; both the breathwork healing and Himalayan singing bowl sessions were excellent. Hiking: Behind the hotel, there's a winding mountain road and a direct path. The night views are great. The direct path goes through rock gardens; although a bit steep, it's a good way to shorten your hike. I didn't participate in the Kids' Club or children's crafts, but I imagine kids would have a great time here. Overall, you get what you pay for. While some of the hotel's facilities are a bit dated, the service attitude is excellent.

YYanweiyangThis hotel, nestled at the foot of the Great Wall, has a unique design, converted from an old ceramics factory. There's no TV, but it's full of stories and creativity. Even though we stayed during the Chinese New Year and experienced an unusual sandstorm, our room was incredibly warm and comfortable, which my elderly parents appreciated. We were lucky enough to participate in some special CNY activities: writing 'fu' characters, creating foil art, making sugar-coated hawthorns, and learning to play drums. It really brought the festive traditional atmosphere to life! The staff were very enthusiastic, and the young instructors leading the activities were incredibly patient. Both check-in and check-out were seamless. There's a chestnut tree outside the kids' courtyard, and we're planning to return when the chestnuts are ripe.

GGuest UserPrivate hot spring room experience (1 session): The facility was temporarily closed, so I couldn't use it. Instead, they offered a dinner at the Chinese restaurant, which had a good variety of dishes and was quite nice. Gubei Water Town tickets for four: These allowed free re-entry throughout our stay, which was very convenient. Unlimited shuttle service within Gubei Water Town: Extremely convenient and fast. Facilities: Some facilities need maintenance, and the shower system requires an upgrade. Hygiene: Overall good, quite clean. Environment: Located right in the heart of the Water Town, making it easy to get around. There's also an infinity pool for swimming and fitness. Service: Excellent.

GGuest UserA very good homestay with a spacious living room and bedrooms with floor-to-ceiling beds. You can see the mountain view while lying on the bed. There are two hot springs. The children are in the house, and my husband and I are outdoors. It is very comfortable. There is a wooden plank road leading to the mountain next to the courtyard, from which you can overlook the entire village. The children like it very much. Will come again.

Xxia614My kids had been looking forward to this hot spring trip, so I specially booked a one-night stay and hot spring package. It was perfect for a full day of fun. The hotel is huge and well-equipped. It's super convenient to get to, right outside the subway exit. The front desk staff were very enthusiastic and provided excellent service. Our room was clean and tidy. We enjoyed the hot springs until 10 PM, then went back to the room to shower, have a late-night snack, and relax. The room came with complimentary drinks and snacks, which was a thoughtful touch. The hotel also has a laundry room, which was very convenient for washing and spinning our swimsuits, so we could enjoy the hot springs again the next day.

GGuest UserThis hotel is really great! The room is warmly decorated, fully equipped, and the toiletries are of high quality. The service is very considerate, the front desk check-in is super fast, and they also help with luggage. The breakfast in the restaurant is rich and varied, and the taste is also great, especially the freshly fried eggs and fresh juice. The surrounding environment is beautiful and convenient for travel. This stay experience is very good, and I will come again next time!

LLiqiThis hotel is beautiful and high-class, and the rooms are very spacious. Each room has both a bathtub and a shower, and the toiletries are excellent. Whether you're relaxing in your room watching TV or heading to the ground floor for the hot spring and swimming pool (a comfortable 25-meter pool with 31-degree water, indoor and outdoor hot springs, and complimentary snacks and drinks...), there's plenty to do. Outdoors, there's an adventure park with go-karts, alpaca feeding, and horseback riding – all great options for a holiday. The hotel has both Chinese and Western restaurants. During the holiday, the Chinese restaurant offered a few quick options as well as à la carte, and the Western restaurant served a seafood buffet for dinner. The food was delicious, with a wide variety for both breakfast and dinner, and the desserts were incredibly beautiful. The hotel service was excellent; the front desk staff were incredibly responsible and patiently answered all questions. The hot spring front desk staff were also consistently good; even before the name change, they were always enthusiastic and helpful in coordinating any issues (all the staff in the hot spring area were also warm, polite, thoughtful, and meticulous). It seems that whether it's a holiday or not, I've always received a welcome fruit platter and a white fungus and pear afternoon tea, which is a very thoughtful touch. This time, they even gave my child a small gift when we left, which was very touching. The room packages include meals or hot spring tickets, and hotel guests get a discount if they want to purchase the buffet or hot springs separately. It's a very welcoming hotel.

GGuest UserPros: The photo opportunities are fantastic; the 'influencer' bamboo house and red house designs are really interesting. I was grateful for the room upgrade on the day. The black sesame paste from the free cereal and juice machine in the restaurant was delicious. Cons: The bathtub water was yellow at first. The food quality at the restaurant was just so-so. Summary: A great place for a weekend getaway with a wonderful environment. As long as you don't nitpick the details too much, it's pretty good overall.

MM0005****The rooms are clean and tidy, and come with a balcony. When checking in, you need to register your vehicle to park in the underground parking lot 🅿️, otherwise, you might be charged a parking fee. We had three king-size rooms, and 1119 had the best view, overlooking the lake from the balcony, with a beautiful sunrise in the morning. The room directly opposite could see the golf course behind, which was great for sunset views. The bathroom and bathtub are in separate spaces opposite each other, designed with two sinks for simultaneous use. The front desk is on the second floor, and the connecting corridor to the hot spring ♨️ is also on the same floor, though it's a bit of a walk. The buffet restaurant is on the first floor. Complimentary fruit was provided in the room.

WWengwenhanOur butler, Brian, was incredibly welcoming and resolved issues promptly. The room was very spacious, clean, and tidy, and even had a bathtub for soaking. The balcony offered beautiful views. The hot spring facility, Tangquan Palace, had many clean and hygienic pools, including a children's splash area. It's also very close to Wanda Plaza, making dining and entertainment incredibly convenient. Plus, parking is free!
