I've stayed in quite a few decent B&Bs, and this one just gives me the impression that the owner isn't very focused on service, mainly aiming for a casual vibe, I guess... It's been a long time since I encountered a B&B or hotel where the drinks in the room fridge cost extra. When I asked for two small bottles of water, the response I got was, ”The large bottles are free too.” I don't understand what that even means... Of course, I know the large bottles are free, but do I have to drink from a jug if I want cold water? They did eventually bring them, just two small bottles... The breakfast was also quite disappointing; it's the first time I've encountered something like this at this price point for a B&B. The overall feeling is just very stingy.
There's a nearly right-angle turn outside the B&B, and our car is quite long. No one came out to guide us or help us navigate... I'll just leave it at that for now.

GGuest UserWe stayed for one night in Wtown Resort. We bought a package which included entrance ticket and some highlights.
Location: Convinent as one of shuttle bus stop is right in front of resort and it is also walking distance to performance area.
Facilities: Room is super spacious and clean. Building is slightly old but still well maintained. I love the lobby as it played traditional music with cozy area.
Staff is friendly and provide Wechat personalize guidance to guest who booked under trip.com. I think it is useful as it able to provide a quick chat and clarification e.g. performance timing and location.
Overall, it is good experience.

GGuest UserThis was my second visit, and each time offers a unique experience. This time, I brought my child and we stayed in a family room. My little one absolutely loved climbing around – it was a design I'd never seen before! Seeing her so happy made it completely worth it. We'll definitely be back. My child especially loves playing in the water, and this hot spring pool was huge! The three of us had an amazing time. My little one was so tired she fell right asleep, and the night was so quiet, we all woke up naturally. We'll probably come back for a longer stay during the summer. Oh, and the local millet porridge from their kitchen is incredibly delicious; I even bought some to take home. Highly recommend!

GGuest UserThis house is absolutely fantastic! It's a two-story villa right when you walk in, and we chose the Ravenclaw-themed one. It was truly impressive. The interior was spotless, and the Ravenclaw theme was executed perfectly, with incredible attention to detail 🎉🎉. I was a bit worried about bugs on the first and second floors, but we didn't encounter any during our stay, which made for a very comfortable experience. Drawing the curtains at night for sleep created a wonderful ambiance. The service was incredibly warm and welcoming. The owner even lent us two different house robes, and at the consultation desk, you could borrow various photo props. The hotel handyman was also incredibly helpful; my suitcase wheel broke, and he even fixed it for me. Overall, a great experience!

77793****It was freezing outside in winter, but super warm inside – I felt like I could wear a T-shirt, the air conditioning was excellent. The service was generally great. My child threw a beanbag up onto the ceiling, which was about three or four meters high, and the hotel staff even managed to get it down for us. I'm very grateful for that. I deducted 0.5 points for service because the front desk staff seemed clueless; when I asked where to feed the alpacas, they said they didn't know and that it was handled by the hot springs area, implying it wasn't under their management. They mentioned the hot springs and entertainment were outsourced. However, we found the alpacas just a short distance outside the hotel lobby entrance, along with geese, ducks, and chickens. There were three large and two small alpacas, and they were adorable. Do bring them some carrots and greens; they looked quite hungry. For breakfast, go early, before 8 AM, as it's very abundant. If you go later, you'll miss out on the delicious cream cakes. Dinner was a buffet due to New Year's, and the seafood was quite fresh for the hotpot. The hot springs were a bit crowded, but the kids had a good time, mostly hitting each other with ocean balls. There weren't many indoor hot spring pools, making it a bit cramped. The temperatures were all high, but it was very clean. They said there were outdoor pools too, but we didn't go as it was too cold.

JJijidaiwang627I highly recommend Xishan Hot Spring Hotel! I used to frequent Hot Spring No. 9, but Xishan really wins out in terms of value for money.
✅ A big plus for their mealtime crowd control: During peak dining hours, they manage the flow of people, so there's no massive queue. There are plenty of empty tables, allowing for a peaceful meal without jostling for food, which greatly enhances the experience.
✅ The constant temperature pool is fantastic: The water temperature is consistently comfortable year-round, without sudden changes. Lifeguards are on duty, making it very reassuring for swimming with kids, and the water quality is crystal clear.
✅ The unique ******* area is a must-try; it's wonderfully relaxing and soothing. The hot spring area is clean and not crowded. They provide face masks, chrysanthemum tea, and small heating pads.
Overall, the price is reasonable, there are fewer people, and both the resting areas and hot spring pools are tidy. It's not overly commercialized or noisy, making it a top choice for leisure and relaxation. I've already recommended it to friends!

When checking in, you need to register your vehicle to park in the underground parking lot 🅿️, otherwise, you might be charged a parking fee. We had three king-size rooms, and 1119 had the best view, overlooking the lake from the balcony, with a beautiful sunrise in the morning. The room directly opposite could see the golf course behind, which was great for sunset views. The bathroom and bathtub are in separate spaces opposite each other, designed with two sinks for simultaneous use. The front desk is on the second floor, and the connecting corridor to the hot spring ♨️ is also on the same floor, though it's a bit of a walk. The buffet restaurant is on the first floor. Complimentary fruit was provided in the room.

AAnonymous UserStaying at the Commune by the Great Wall was such a rejuvenating retreat! Our butler, Eva, was incredibly attentive and thoughtful throughout our stay, patiently explaining all the hotel activities. Both the villa amenities and the resort's pet park and water play areas were a lot of fun. The valley scenery coupled with views of the Great Wall made for a perfect stay. Definitely a 5-star recommendation – we'll be choosing this spot for our next vacation!

GGuest UserHygiene: My recent visit to Lanting Hot Spring Hotel coincided with their deep cleaning, and seeing their meticulous work really put guests at ease.
Environment: The hotel's lush environment is incredibly pleasant.
Service: The staff helped with luggage and guided me on purchasing Mutianyu Great Wall tickets, explaining everything in detail. It truly showed me what excellent service is all about.
Their restaurant also serves exceptionally delicious food, highly recommended!

Jjijing8819The room was quite spacious, and the air conditioning was comfortable. The sofa was a big help when traveling with kids. It was very convenient for going to the hot springs and swimming. Even though it was crowded during the Dragon Boat Festival, the overall experience was still pretty good! We stayed one night and got to enjoy two half-days of activities, leaving us wanting more. Plus, there's a Wanda Plaza nearby with plenty of food and drink options – highly recommend! The breakfast was also quite rich and varied.
