酸菜魚This is our second time staying in a Manxing hotel in China so we had some sort of expectations. Unfortunately, the first impression was not the best due to the limitations of a historic building, the lobby is very small and we met a group of tourists checking out with several kids frolicking around. It felt chaotic. However, the Manxing staff quickly redeemed themselves with their warm services so it was all good. We were happy with our room in general, however I could think of a few improvements: (i) to install a rack or similar for holding up a suitcase; (ii) to install better sound insulation windows as we could hear the noises from the street, if it is not possible due to it being a historic building, at least provide ear plugs in the room. The reason why I gave a 4/5 in cleanliness was because of an incident in breakfast. On our second breakfast day, we discovered that the glass water kettle for serving hot water had grown algae inside. We informed the staff and it was immediately taken to clean. I believed we were actually the first to arrive at breakfast so no one had drunk from it yet, however this little incident shows that the hotel needs to train their staff better. Even a seemingly clean kettle for holding water needs routine cleaning!

MmindyTThis hotel is an absolute hidden gem. From the moment we arrived, we felt so well taken care of. It feels like a Ritz-Carlton but with even warmer, more personal service. The corridors are lined with plush carpets, the materials and finishes are all rich and top-notch, and my child immediately described it as “posh” — I’d add that it’s also very zen, peaceful and quiet. The room is generously sized, quiet and very zen. The hotel is new, modern and “smart”: when you get out of bed in the morning, a soft foot light comes on automatically so you don’t have to scramble for switches. The kids loved pressing buttons to close the curtains, and I liked being able to choose between work lighting and cosy ambience at a single touch. Service here is outstanding. Everyone is fully dedicated, responsible, warm and kind — and very prompt. Nothing is ever too much trouble; everything is handled politely, respectfully and thoughtfully, so you really feel safe and well looked after. The team also has a lovely sense of humour, which adds to the comfort and makes the stay feel relaxed and friendly rather than stiff. On top of that, they even helped me plan safe and cost-effective travel options — such amazing, value-added service. Special thanks to Xiaoyu and Xiaoliu, who were excellent throughout. Xiaoyu especially made the extra effort to be promptly on hand via WeChat, helping with any queries even after hours — it honestly felt like having a friend there with us. The rest of the team were equally attentive and caring, and I noticed everyone would greet the guests, including the cleaners. It is a very well-run hotel: not just following instructions but offering real service from the heart. When we checked out, they even surprised us with bags of lovely snacks, which was such a sweet and thoughtful gesture. Breakfast was wonderful. The spread has everything one could ever need: noodles and omelettes cooked on the spot with a rich meat stew, a choice of porridges (I especially liked the millet), plus Western and kid-friendly options, and many different drinks to choose from. Insider tip: don’t miss the croissant — it has egg custard inside as a filling! The toiletries, like the shampoo and soap, are specially made and feel high quality — another small touch that shows how much care has gone into the details. The location is incredibly convenient. Huge malls and a hypermart are literally at the doorstep, and the MRT/subway is linked directly to the hotel. The nearby malls and eateries are massive and have everything you could possibly want. There’s an outlet mall about 15 minutes away, so shopping is definitely covered. Practical bonuses: major banks are right downstairs, and if you need to change RMB, the exchange rate is very good and the fees are reasonable. There’s even a salon if you feel like getting a new haircut during your stay. Through the connected mall, you can find food of every kind, including Michelin-starred options — including a restaurant that serves crab cooked in liquor and delicious braised radish. Although the hotel is luxurious, modern and packed with smart features, what I treasure most is the dedication, warmth and sincerity of the staff. I’ve stayed at many other hotel chains, but this experience is way beyond anything I’ve had before. This stay has now set a very high bar for other hotels to match. Highly, highly recommended.

ZZoey Zeng1. This hotel is part of the HUAZHU group and stands alone, located near office buildings so there's no noisy honking. It's neither too close nor too far from attractions and the airport, generally about 40-50 minutes away, but with a subway station right outside, it's very convenient. It seems to be an international hotel, as I noticed quite a few foreigners staying here, haha. There's a billiards area on the ground floor. 2. The hotel breakfast is a buffet, offering both Chinese and Western options. They have steamed buns, noodles, dumplings, fried rice, as well as fruit, toast, salad, latte, and cereal – quite a rich spread. For food delivery, a robot can bring it right to your room. During my three-day stay, new bottled water was provided in our room every day. 3. The room's heating is provided by air conditioning, which felt no different from central heating. The moment you enter the hotel, it's warm (I was initially worried from other reviews that the room would be cold while waiting for the AC to heat up, but that wasn't the case at all; it was like central heating). It can even get a bit warm at night while sleeping, so you can open the window for some fresh air. If you snore, you can ask the front desk for earplugs. 4. Downsides: The room size is small (but understandable, given the price in Beijing, including breakfast, and being within the Third Ring Road). The bathroom and toilet are separate, but both have transparent glass doors!!!! However, there are curtains that completely block off the bathroom and toilet from the main room, so privacy isn't an issue. After looking at many hotels, this one offers the best value for money, and I personally highly recommend it. Other hotels close to attractions are either very expensive, have poor environments, or have no windows/small rooms. Finally, I didn't take any photos of the hotel's interior, so here are a few beautiful pictures of Beijing, haha.

MM512235****This hotel is absolutely amazing! We were able to store our luggage a few hours early, which was super convenient coming straight from the high-speed rail station. The room itself was huge, easily accommodating four people. My friend and I had so much space we could practically roll around in it! It was very spacious and comfortable, with two tables, and the hygiene was excellent, with complete and high-quality facilities. They didn't rush us to check out even though we woke up late, which was incredibly thoughtful and human-centered 🥹. Most importantly, it was only a little over 200 yuan a night, and it's so convenient to get everywhere. The value for money is absolutely fantastic (^_^)v! Even my friend, who studied in Beijing for four years, couldn't stop raving about this place!

QQ.S.TThe lobby is clean and bright, and the room is spotless. Parking right outside is tight, but there's a free parking lot available. A convenience store next door is super handy. The front desk staff were really friendly and allowed a late checkout until 2 PM, just like with Huazhu Club. My only complaint is that the room facilities are really dated, especially the TV – it's practically useless, can't cast, and is incredibly hard to use. Also, having to go downstairs to pick up food deliveries is a bit of a hassle.

__WeChat12260****This is the most satisfying hotel I've stayed at in Beijing, offering great value for money. For just over 200 yuan, to get a location and amenities like this... what more can you ask for? The 40-square-meter room is spacious enough, and the 2-meter bed is plenty big. While the decor isn't brand new, it doesn't feel old or run-down. The breakfast offers a wide variety and tastes good. I was very happy with the service; even when I had the 'do not disturb' sign on, the housekeeping staff would hang disposable toiletries and bottled water on the doorknob daily. In particular, the lady at the front desk during the day shift and the younger gentleman were incredibly accommodating and their demeanor was pleasant. My only minor complaint is about the night shift gentleman; his tone of voice, inflection, and expression all conveyed a cold indifference, as if he absolutely hated being on this 'lousy shift'.

GGuest UserWhen visiting Beijing, this hotel's location is excellent. It's just a few minutes from the subway station. The biggest challenge when exploring Beijing is all the walking, often 20,000 to 30,000 steps a day. Staying on Qianmen Street is incredibly convenient. There are shops everywhere, so you can eat and shop right downstairs. The room was very clean, and the air conditioning worked perfectly, keeping the Beijing cold out of the room.

XXiangyaofujidezhongniandashuThe room layout was a bit long and narrow, which I wasn't used to, but it did have its advantages – the sound of the washing machine didn't bother the bedroom. The gym and pool were both very spacious, and the fitness facilities were comprehensive, even including a billiards table, which exceeded my expectations. Breakfast was standard, and the service was quite good.

CCallum McNeill-KeayI found the Grand Concordia Hotel to be a solid and well-rounded five-star property that caters effectively to both business and leisure travelers. Located in Beijing’s Chaoyang district, the hotel combines traditional elegance with practical amenities, making it particularly suitable for official visits, business travel, and longer stays. 📍 Location & Accessibility From my experience, the hotel’s location on Xiaoyun Road in Chaoyang District is one of its key strengths. Being close to several embassies, commercial offices, and popular areas such as Sanlitun and Solana made getting around relatively convenient. While it is not in the immediate city-center tourist zone, I found transport straightforward, with taxis readily available and metro access within walking distance. This location worked especially well for business-related commitments and appointments. 🛏️ Rooms & Comfort The room I stayed in was spacious, clean, and comfortable, offering a calm and private environment after a busy day. The bed was particularly comfortable, and I appreciated the well-thought-out lighting and overall room layout. Amenities such as reliable Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and a minibar added to the sense of convenience. That said, I did notice that some elements of the room décor and technology felt slightly dated. While everything functioned well, a refresh in certain areas would further elevate the overall experience. Nonetheless, the room met my expectations for comfort and cleanliness. 🍽️ Dining & Facilities The hotel offers a good range of on-site dining options, and I found the breakfast buffet to be varied and well-organized. The café and lounge areas provide comfortable spaces for informal meetings or relaxing in the evening. I also made use of the fitness and leisure facilities, including the gym and swimming pool, which were well maintained and easy to access. In addition, the hotel’s extensive meeting and event spaces clearly make it well suited for conferences, corporate functions, and formal gatherings. 🤝 Service & Staff Service throughout my stay was professional and courteous. Staff at reception and guest services were attentive and helpful, particularly during check-in and with general inquiries. While there were occasional minor communication challenges, these did not significantly impact my stay and were handled with patience and professionalism. 📊 Overall Value & Impression Overall, I felt that the Grand Concordia Hotel offers strong value, especially for business travelers or guests with embassy-related or professional engagements in Chaoyang. Its strengths lie in its location, room size, cleanliness, and comprehensive facilities. Although certain aspects of the hotel would benefit from modernization, the overall experience was comfortable, reliable, and well managed. 📌 Who I Would Recommend It For I would recommend this hotel for: • Business and diplomatic travelers • Guests seeking spacious rooms and full hotel facilities • Longer stays where comfort and practicality matter It may be less ideal if: • You are looking for a highly modern or boutique-style hotel • You want to be within walking distance of major tourist attractions • ⭐ Final Thoughts From my perspective, the Grand Concordia Hotel delivers a dependable and comfortable stay with a strong focus on service and functionality. While there is room for modernization, the hotel succeeds in providing a professional, well-maintained, and welcoming environment. I would consider staying here again, particularly for business or extended visits in Beijing.

DDavid.Will.HThis stay was fantastic! The hotel's location is super convenient, right outside a shopping district and subway station. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, and check-in was incredibly fast. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding soft and comfortable, and it was so quiet at night that I slept soundly until morning. The breakfast had a great variety of Chinese and Western options, and tasted delicious. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit!
