Staff didn't speak much English, but could effectively communicate with a translator app. Super helpful and nice. The room was not as clean as I had hoped. Some of the walls had some smears of some discoloration tan on beige walls. The room smelled faintly of cigarettes. And the blue light was a different atmosphere than I had expected. I didn't pay attention to the specific room I booked, and so that was my mistake. The subway station is 15-20 minute walk depending on how fast you walk. Didi is easy to access. There's little restaurant right next door that has great bun baos and soup.

You first walk 750 meters to the tram, take it, and it's about a 15-minute ride to the metro (3 stops).
